we decided to go solar and had a consultation with one of the reps named thom he sold the system well. I ended up getting the system and was promised 600$ for getting it with them. He was supposed to show us how to manage the system when it was installed but after it was sold I never heard from this guy again he never even took the time to follow up with us and the system. I tried many times to get a hold of him and nothing. had to call customer service to find out about the 600$ and they just give me the run around. I still have no idea if I will be receiving this money and it's been almost 1 year. I wish I would of read all the bad reviews before going through with getting solar with them.

Had a consultation scheduled with a rep reguarding solor and they canceled on me last min. so rescheduled for the next week and had consultation with rep and was promised $250 amazon gift card just having consultation in which i was to get within 7-14 days after consultation...its been over a month and have spoken to serveral reps and managers at horizon and given nothing but the run around and each rep says same thing i will recieve soon...still have not gotten it...very unprofessional staff...i have referred a few people in which i am not advising not to have consultation...the amazon gift card is just a bogus lie to get into your house...please be advised its a scam

This company called me the other day and I happen to be intrested in Solar so it seemed like a great opportunity to get some questions answered. WRONG. I think the guy went by Don, if you get him just ask to speak with someone else. He was pushy and just kept talking me in circles when he didnt know the answer. Overall I'm glad though because I did some research and found a company with much better reviews and more patient customer service reps.

Communication was rough in the beginning. They wanted to do it their way. I wanted them to do it my way. Job was completed (my way) with little to no complications and my SCE bill plunged to almost nothing.

I guess I'll join the bandwagon too, first time I called I got the tornado guy and he was rude enough for me to throw my phone against a wall. But I called back and talked to wendy and she was great. I'm currently enjoying my new panels as we speak. But seriously I figured they would've fired that guy by now.

I was actually just googling this for the number but seeing such similar reviews I'm compelled to leave a review. I actually talked to the same guy "don aka tornado" when I first inquired about this company. He actually started to bully me, saying that "it's sad you're letting another man tell you what you can do to your own house" in regards to my questions about my HOA. I was going to give it another chance but reading these I'm glad I decided to hold off.

Just talked to tornado or don or whatever. Not friendly at all, this company is a joke. Until they somehow let me know he's fired I think I'm going to skip solar for now

Wonderful, polite, courteous, respectful and very friendly.
They answered every question we had for them.
I have to commend the person that hired these gentlemen.
Ed & I wanted them to come in the morning as it reached 99 degrees but there was never a lapse in their attitude or work ethic.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for a responsible co.
Horizon Solar is Awesome starting with Kaelene Smith.
Feels like we've just acquired great family members.
Thank you all for your hard work & generosity towards us ole folks.....
We're very blessed with a pleasant job well done.
