Terrible customer service! They raise the monthly bill unexpectedly and with no reason as to why. You will be on hold at least 45 minutes when you call customer service. They give you the run around. I'm glad we are out of contract because we cancelled our account. The other persons review was correct that the CEO doesn't care about your issues your having with his company. I reported them to the better business bureau. This is not how you should treat a loyal customer after 5 years of service.

Absolutely abysmal customer service from start to finish. We were deceived by the salesman concerning the duration of the contract. We were told we were locking in the price for five years, but only three years were required for the contract to ensure all equipment was paid for. Of course, this was patently untrue. We COULD have signed a three year contract at the beginning and would have been able to have our price adjusted, etc after that amount of time, but instead were duped into a five year contract. Shame on me for believing the jovial, smiling liar, I suppose.

I have finally made it through my contract and called to cancel my service. I was on hold for 35 minutes only to have the customer DISservice rep hang up on me after I stated I wished to cancel. I immediately called back and sat through another 35 minute wait time. This time, the rep informed me I must email the company my request for cancellation. Flabbergasted, I said, "You mean to tell me you don't have the authority to cancel an account?!" She said that because of "legal reasons" the request needs to be reviewed by their team. Also, this review will take 30 days -- during which they will continue to bill me! Unbelievable! What kind of "legal reasons" can this company have beyond ensuring they squeeze every last possible dime out of their unsuspecting customers?! When I have cancelled other services (phone, internet, gas, electric, etc, etc), I have never had to remain on the hook for an extra MONTH while the company takes their sweet time evaluating my cancellation request.

I am so done with this dishonest company. Run away from their sales reps as far and as fast as you can!

This company was advertised at Sam's Club in Lake Nona, FL as a great company, no contract. This is COMPLETELY MISLEADING. They force you to accept a 60 months contract, and "get a loan with a bank"to pay for the equipment. I've had significant problems with several pieces of the equipment since installation a year ago, when calling it takes very long time to get someone to answer and then they hang up without finishing the call. I had several false alarms because the alarm goes off for no reason. Last week during an alarm I had to return home as soon as I got the call from the monitoring service. I called back to cancel the alarm and took 9 minutes for a human being to answer. Requested to cancel the call to the police, the monitoring center never cancel. The police was home when I arrived. If you value your time and money DON'T get in business with Vivint

This is the piss poor work Vivint technicians do when they install outside camera's but not only that they came both times to my house unprepared and unorganized forgetting tools and equipment that I ordered so on top of all this we called customer service to file a complaint they didn't even apologize for anything and would not send anyone out to fix right away and hung up on me so I emailed the CEO and he NEVER responded and now we cancelled our service they want us to pay off our equipment so they can take it from us and 500 dollar early termination fee which is all Bull****. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ADT.

So far Vivint has shown a lot of ineptitude. They've come out twice and failed to fix simple problems like "thermostat offline" and "front door needs batteries." These things shouldn't be issues after 2 weeks of service.

Property managers reached out to Vivint to schedule a tech, but when I called they said they had no tech planned for the assigned time. At this point you're better off defending your house with pots and pans. At least you're not gonna spend your day with tech support and still not having the problem fixed.

The service was great at the beginning but once a year passed the thermostats the cameras and all the great features that we once had were gone. I have contacted tech support the wait times are way too long once you get thorough, the techs are good but the fixes are for a couple days. I have certainly given up hope of having the features I once loved and I am waiting for the contract to expire and be done.

I really really liked you guys but you've dropped the ball
