For a cool $7000, we had most of our windows replaced on May 22nd. One of the new windows was broken on the truck -no problem- and I was told a replacement would be another 4-6 weeks but would be rushed. Fast forward almost 18 weeks and the window has just been replaced.
The first reorder, the window came back (EIGHT weeks later) on July 22 incorrect (was white vinyl instead of wood grain vinyl). No window or news until Aug 23rd, when I was told by the rep that the manufacturer had lost the order, then found the order, but it was being processed.
Fast forward FOUR more weeks until Friday (Sept 20) when I was finally told that it was on the truck to arrive Tuesday the 24th, that I'd get a call "immediately". It took me calling, two days later, to finally speak with the rep about it being installed. Guaranteed, if I hadn't have called, we wouldn't have a schedule date.
I'd like to note besides once on Aug 23rd, I ALWAYS had to initiate a phone call. When I finally called the owner, Rob, on Monday of this week, he was nothing short of rude, 100% ostentatious, SO condescending, and demeaning. "You can't assume we operate like Amazon with a two-day shipping schedule". He said this no less than 3 times. He was adamant that Clear Choice NEVER refunds and NEVER credits an account (again, he's not Amazon with free returns!), but that he'd call the manufacturer. After a return phone call, he said the only thing they would do is a $100 credit.
The lack of communication, the EIGHTEEN WEEKS it has taken to get a window install scheduled, and the lack of compensation is embarrassing. Clear Choice should be ashamed; they lost a repeat customer as we have two more LARGE windows to replace, and gained a wonderfully negative review.
