If you don't mind being absolutely gouged$$$$ then sure go ahead with L&B, they asked me to send pictures of issue ahead of time so they would know what the issue was, but then quoted$330 just to show up at my door! Which did not even include hourly rate or part cost. $600 estimate on a $50 part/1hour job is insane, use them if you are ok with being ripped off. Oh and apparently Ted is ok with losing loyal customers, that just shows you how much the really do not care about repeat business, customers or future business. Go anywhere else then L&B, they seem shiny on the outside but they are far from it, especially in the customer service area.

Unbelievably rude and unhelpful customer service. Called looking to get my refrigerant topped up for home AC, they said they would not help and actually hung up on my mid call.

With LB I purchased and installed a Fujitsu ductless mini-split AC system. Was pleased with the service I received throughout the process, and the AC is working wonderfully so far this summer.

I had an issue with one of my hot water tanks--it needed to be replaced because I was not getting hot water. I called LB Heating on a Friday and they came the same day to see my water heaters. They were supposed to call me on the Monday to give me a quote but I never heard from them. I called the office and the salesperson twice and left messages and they never called me back. Today after almost 3 weeks the salesperson called me back asking if I received their quote--which they never sent. One of my tanks needed to be replaced, I had to use another company because I could not get a response from LB. It should not take 3 weeks to get a quote for an urgent matter. Very disappointed, do not recommend.

Ted and his team came to fix the work of another installer, and were prompt and courteous. The real 5-star part came a week later. Ted dropped by to fine-tune the system. That evening, when one of the pumps the original installer had put in misfired, Ted was on the phone with me at 10 at night, helping to troubleshoot the problem and fixing it. You don't get that service everywhere.

If you have a Weissman boiler I can't recommend LB enough.

LB Heating has serviced the boiler in my house for a number of years and has always provided excellent service. Responsive and reliable. This year, when the boiler needed to be replaced during another cold spell, they were there to get it done efficiently with friendly, helpful service. Highly recommend this neighbourhood business to anyone living in the west end Junction/High Park area.
