“I want to have half a billion more solar panels deployed in the first four years. I want to have enough clean energy to power every home in the next four years.”
On November 9, 2015, Secretary and Democratic Nominee, Clinton received an endorsement from the League of Conservation Voters. During her speech for the LCV, she said:
“I want to make sure every American shares in the benefits of a clean energy future. That means helping to bring solar and energy efficiency technologies to more low-income communities.”
In her campaign kick-off speech, she promised to make America “the clean energy superpower of the 21st century”. Her campaign chairman John Podesta was the architect of President Obama’s plan to tackle carbon emissions through regulations, and Clinton has promised to keep those regulations in place “at all costs.”
In 2007, she made the remarks, “As President, to help us reach 25% by 2025, I will make the production tax credit for wind and solar permanent. No more guessing what you’re going to get as you move forward with your production.”
Hillary Clinton is fully behind Solar Energy and believes that it can help make the world a better place for all. You can do your part, and save money on your monthly electricity bill, by switching to Solar Energy.
