Lego wall

If your child is obsessed with Legos, you’ve likely become accustomed to finding tiny Lego pieces all over your house. You have also probably experienced the acute pain that is stepping on a Lego in the middle of the night.

As parents, we don’t want to stifle our kid’s creative tendencies, but we also don’t want to allow their love of Legos to take over our entire house. What if you could confine all Lego activities to one room, preferably your kid’s room?

A wall like this super creative and bold Lego statement wall is actually easier to install than you may think.

Just mount plywood or MDF (medium-density fibreboard) on your wall then use liquid nails to attach the Lego baseplates to the plywood. If you are looking for a less permanent solution, you could just use our preferred method—removable VELCRO® Brand strips!

The examples here use traditional green Lego baseplates. But, being the design focused team that we are here at Modernize, we love that you don’t have to be limited to just the bright green baseplates. You can use a more neutral grey baseplate and your child may even love their Lego wall as they get older.
