I'll give it 3 stars because they really need to work a bit harder in their attention with the pro department. As a daily fast paced customer, it is definitely not beneficial to wait in line for 10min. To then have the cashiers delay you an additional hour! Doesn't happen always, but too often than not. Other than that 5 stars for the customer service of the people on the floor, their paint department t goes above and beyond, inventory is quite sorted too. I do want to say that Ruby in Pro is excellent at attending our needs.

I work for a company and always have to use the Pro Desk for phone sales. I'm always able to put in my own company card information everytime I'm at any other Home Depot, but the lady named Tess who worked the Pro Desk at this location wouldn't let me, and she was very rude about it. I told her I always use the phone sale but I can always put in my company card information without having to call my office because my office sees what I purchase anytime. I use the company card. But she refused to let me put it in. I honestly wouldn't have cared about this little issue and I would have just let her call my office but I only wanted to leave this review because she was just really rude about it. It really rubbed me the wrong way. What difference does it make if she had to call somebody? Because for all she knows I could have just given her the phone number to some random person.

The credit services department is horrible. They sent me an email that a payment was overdue. So I called the credit services department. The agent I got on the phone didn't speak English well enough for me to understand her. She kept telling me I was past due and tried to take payment. I finally hung up and called back. The second person spoke better English and told me that a payment was processing, that they had received it on the due date, and that she would update the account.
The first agent was just determined to take my payment. Never bothered to look to see if it had already been made. And her English was horrible.
I thought Home Depot was our neighborhood hardware store.
If you're going to send credit services overseas theb at least make sure they speak English well enough to speak to the people in that neighborhood.

I had a good and bad experience yesterday. Went to this location to buy a heater the website showed 9 being in stock. I found the heater section, but the one I wanted was not there. I stopped 2 employees walking by and asked is there another location for heaters. They both said this is all we have. I was not satisfied with that answer. I waited until 2 more employees walked by and asked for the specific heater that was showing 9 in stock. They both pulled out their devices and asked for the sku#. They found the heater in another location on a top shelf (out of reach for customers), still in the shipping boxes, so only sku number was visible. I thank the employee and ended up buying 2 items giving them over $219 in sales, simply because 1 employee took the time to check on my request. I was very disappointed in the first 2 employees not will to take 30 seconds to look into my request. This is why the 3 star rating. I'm sure it was an oversight on the store to not have all the heaters out on display during cold season.

So there's a display stating that pick whatever tool you want they're only $99 a piece. I was interested in DeWALT circular saw (DCS391B). When I got to the register it rung up $200 so I told them this was a mistake and they asked me to go back there and take a picture. When I bring the picture back they tell me they need to get a manager. Then why would you have me go take a picture? The manager shows up only to ask me to walk back there again so we can look at it together and I explain to them it's going to look the same as the picture I just took. Clowns. Then she begins to tell me that it's the wrong circular saw on the display. So you mean to tell me everyone up here is the wrong one and you're not going to honor the price you're going to charge me $200 for something that's $99 they offered $50 dollars off but again we're talking about the special is $99 so this is still not a deal even if it was the wrong circular saw which it wasn't you should still honor the advertised price. I verified the model number on the saw and took a picture of it. She tells me the model I want is a wood saw and this is a metal saw. I explained to her that the blade is going to determine what it will cut. We're talking about a manager here LOL some of us actually work for a living so I can't go back and forth with them all day as I have work to do. So I proceeded to drive to the Marietta Home Depot on Roswell Road. When I walked in they had the exact same display. I verified the model number was the same as the one at the Cumberland store. I put it in my buggy and checked out for $99. The Cumberland store really needs to get their business together. The people that work there are not knowledgeable nor do they honor advertise prices. Anyone shopping here needs to know that assignment means nothing as they will just make up the prices when you get to the register depending on how they feel. The manager's resolution at the Cumberland stores to take $50 off $200 and sell me a $99 circular saw for 150. That was their resolution as opposed to just honoring what they have advertised which was really the correct place in the first place. Probably came to this store because it was convenient to the job that I was working at. I will actually never shop here again and wouldn't encourage others not to as well

One would expect this particular store to be the very best HD in the world, seeing how they are right across the street from the corporate headquarters. My take? Very unremarkable and not any different than the rest. The floor staff is helpful if you can find them, and follow them while you wait your turn as they assist the others needing assistance. Their biggest struggle is just like every other big box store. The CUSTOMERS mix up hardware, open sealed packages, throw random things on the shelves where they don't belong, and generally act like lazy toddlers that were never told to put things back where they found them. I didn't take off any stars for this problem, as it is well beyond the store's control.

My favorite Home Depot store. Returns are quick and efficient, and the other day no less than 6 associates said Hello… how are you doing! What I like best - this particular store which sits very near HD corporate headquarters seems to be the test spot for new products. If you see something unique that you like, you should buy it. During a visit to GA a while back I found a light-weight, well-made caulking gun and didn’t buy it. I loved it (I get excited about odd things!) but I thought I would buy it when I got back to PA. But the PA stores didn’t have it for months (and in a slightly different model). Parking is a little congested (tip… park to the right side and walk a little farther). The store is a little older and quirkier than others, but I love their trial products I can’t find elsewhere.

Had to drive all the way to this one because they were the only Home Depot that had the specific 5/8 drywall I needed. The employee that helped me was very nice and helped load it.
Only downside is I wish the parking lot was easier to get in and out of with a trailer because the store has outgrown the parking lot and the area.

I was truly impressed by the level of customer service at this store - Kristi took excellent care of my return and made the whole process effortless. It’s great people like her that make a huge difference, and are the reason I love shopping here so much. I appreciate her level of care and kindness- thank you!

I don't leave reviews often, but I had to give a shout out today! Home Depot Cumberland is not my home store, however I stopped by on my way home from work to pick up some wood for an art project and there were two young men who were cutting wood. As it turns out, one of them (Moray, I think) was training the other one (John) on the saws and cutting so they were a little bit slower but they were incredibly friendly. After my wood had been cut, I went to go find some nails and ran into Moray again who helped me get to the right aisle for the nails (again, not my home store, so I was a little turned around). He made sure to introduce himself and let me know he was the flooring supervisor who was jumping in to help out with cutting of various items of wood. Incredible service! I'll definitely be back to this store again.
