Trinity Solar

With rising prices everywhere including electricity, we knew we had to make some choices about how we were spending our dollars (and helping the Earth), so we started looking into solar.
I was SO impressed with Trinity Solar, who I called first. Their phone reps were friendly and helpful every time I spoke to them. The rep that came to the house, Momi, was incredibly knowledgeable and genuine. The second company gave us almost the same information about solar panels on our house, but the rep was such a fast-talker that he made us nervous. The third company, who I found through a big-box hardware store, would/could only meet with us online. The young man we spoke to in CO when we called was very nice, but we felt uneasy leasing a product for 25 years from someone who had only Googled our house to make a layout for panels and had a very, very different plan than the other two. We ruled out company number 3, but waited to make a final decision. And waited, because we couldn't decide. The problem was that we trusted Momi more, but the other company was telling us that they could put more panels on the roof which would mean more solar power generated. We use an inordinate amount of electricity in this house. We contacted Momi to tell her what was holding us up, and she contacted her engineers to see what the difference was in the layout and the panels. Her answer to us made sense, but we waited some more anyway. A month went by. In December 2023, I was in a parking lot and saw a Trinity Solar truck with the driver of the truck in it. After parking next to the truck, I proceeded to ask him every question I could think of about the product, the company, my rep, the install process...all the good and bad. He was intelligent, friendly & patient with me, and I was sold.
We called Momi, and our install process began. The office staff, Momi & the install crew were as close to perfect as any work we have ever had done, so there is not much more to say than that... but here's some parting thoughts:
-Momi is smart, experienced (knows her product and the procedures), genuine, on-point but laid-back, funny, and uber-patient. But don't wait as long as we did to make the decision. You're only losing money by waiting. We also very much appreciated that Momi gave us reasonable expectations of every step of the process, including installation, and she delivered on time or earlier EVERY time!
-The office staff are friendly and SO on top of things. We never had to call them to arrange anything at all. They were always first to call us, right away....no waiting. And they did NOT bug us during our waiting/deciding periods. Neither did Momi. She just checked in once to see if we had questions. That was refreshing!
-The day of the big install it POURED out. Those poor guys worked in the rain and mud without ceasing. We did run into a structural hitch with the house that prevented us from installing in one way, and the install techs were so patient with me working out an alternative that was properly installed and satisfied my need for aesthetics. They were an incredible crew! They would have had the whole install done in the pouring rain in one day were it not for aesthetics. Because the way I wanted the wires to go was a little avant-garde, an inspector needed to come out and give their approval the next day, before the installation could be finalized. It was approved, and the crew came out to finalize the installation (also in pouring rain), but it wasn't the same crew. Much to my delight and with no exaggeration, they were all just as polite, patient, friendly, and conscientious as the first crew! They left my yard and home clean and beautiful and did their utmost not to kill my gardens. They even replanted my hostas!!

This great experience across the board didn't happen by accident. It was very clear to us that Trinity Solar and their people make a purposeful effort to create this kind of experience for their customers. Trinity Solar and their people get our recommendation 100% - no reservations.

2021 trinity’s seller knocked my door to sell solar by making a wonderful scam promise .after pro inspection ,my 20 years old roof qualified for programming .2023 ,I changed my new roof cost $1100.00 to take off and $ 1100.00 to put back by un professional group. It tooked 2days for installation 10 panel. When big rain I saw 7 spots getting wet . Last year they fix 3 in central.4 next to they didn’t fix.last week they came asked for $250 also when I referred my friends they didn’t give money as promised

I shopped extensively with many solar providers and no one was as thorough and clear as Audrey. She went through all my needs and provided several options that I could choose from. Before speaking with her I had second thoughts on whether I even wanted to go with solar but I felt confident with the decision to proceed. So far the installation went as scheduled with no problems and the responsiveness to every question was immediate. I'm looking forward to a cool summer thanks to her!

Trinity Solar installed a 9.7KW system on our roof (24 405W panels). We just recently received approval from our electric company to energize our solar panels and they are working great. We are very happy we chose Trinity Solar for our installation. Our sales person, Shane, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. He gladly answered all our questions with expertise (we had many along the way). He was always very responsive whenever we reached out throughout the initial contract process and he followed up after installation in person to make sure everything went smoothly. We highly recommend Shane. Installation was completed in a day and a half and went smoothly. The longest process was awaiting for town approvals followed by PSEG approval to turn on the solar panels but we were told to expect this by Trinity Solar beforehand . Overall it was a smooth process and we received nearly weekly calls from Trinity Solar updating us along the way. Overall was a great experience and we highly recommend Trinity Solar.

Working with Trinity Solar, especially Tom Stille, was a smooth and hassle free experience. I didn’t know much about solar panels initially, I just knew I wanted them. Tom is an expert in his field and he made us feel comfortable and confident throughout. His timely responses also helped us understand all the benefits of going solar, and the team was able to install them in just one day! As an owner of solar panels for over a year near now, I can honestly say there is nothing but upside, and I highly recommend working with Tom and the extended Trinity Solar team. The panels looks slick too!

living in Bergen county. Size is around 8.1kw with 24 panels. Impressive thing is it was very smooth process. My agent Shane is very professional and he explained to me every details about solar panel. He is amazing expert. I am pretty OCD type of person, I asked him every problem that it can cause. He could explain all about it. And finally I decided to install it. I didn't pay anything for installation. As you know, now cash is very important nowadays interest situation, but he can explain a couple of option for it. And my opinion trinity is large size with good local service, so I choose it, even though I have TESLA model Y.
Since now, I will check if it is actually working good or not. I will keep it posted.

The company is very reliable, honest and operate with integrity. I surely will recommend them to anyone who is looking for solar. Shane always takes the time to answer any questions I may have and provides me with all the options available from start to finish. Very patient with me I must add. He is so accommodating and knowledgeable is every aspect. He made our experience so much easier, he so so easy to work with. The company did a great job with the installation processed as well.
