I am please with the services received for AHS. The technicians have been timely, professional and kind. My replacement refrigerator works great and is an upgrade from what I had. Thank you AHS!

AHS is easily the worst warranty company we have ever had, and we have had several. All customer service is overseas and they refuse to transfer you stateside for a representative as required by Federal regulations. I only gave a 2 vs 1 star because they fixed our broken HVAC before fraudulently denying our well bladder tank replacement based on an absolutely fictitious report that the tank was being overworked which caused the failure. Never mind the fact that it was 20 years old, has a life expectancy of 10-15 years and was double the size necessary for the house (the bigger the tank, the less work stress it endures over time). I attached photos of the corroded tank for your assessment. I easily spent 20 hours on the phone requesting supporting documentation after confirming directly with THEIR assigned contracted plumber that the tank was not overworked (and was actually more than sufficient for the house) and he said the failure was due to normal wear and tear, which he alleged he reported to AHS. AHS still denied the claim with no factual basis stating on their denial report that the failure was “not normal wear and tear.”Probably because they already had to pay for an HVAC repair a few months prior. They then refused to send a different plumber for a second opinion on our dime, as authorized per the policy, because they claimed there were no other AHS contract plumbers in our area. So they only have one contract plumber company for the greater Wilmington/Jacksonville, NC area? I cannot stomach scammers but this is downright fraud. It costs $900 to even file for arbitration. AHS, if you are reading this my name is David Kurre and you defrauded my family. You won’t have a chance to do it again. We would cancel our policy early but there is a significant early cancellation fee. Go figure.

We have had our policy with American home shield for three years. I have had to use it twice and both experiences were phenomenal recently. Our hot water heater was leaking in the bottom had rusted out, I went online set up a claim and within a couple days they had me matched with a service provider.
The Service provider reached out immediately and was very easy to work with their work was great. They were fast and communicated very well.

I am a retiree on a fixed income. Over the past 4 or 5 years my older appliances have quit, through American home shield, I was able to have my refrigerator replaced with a new model as well as my dryer being replaced with a new model. I have had several plumbing issues addressed and repaired quickly. My air condition of course went out during the hottest part of the summer and they were able to fix that within 2 days. They fixed my garage door opener. Never had any issues. Any service I received has been excellent!!!!🌟

AHS denied every conceivable option, required us to get a second opinion and dtill no repairs were completed. We were told it was a preexisting issue with the coil
Every company that they sent out required us to replace the entire system or the whole air handler. We eventually called an independent AC company and they replaced the coil for half the price.
Look deeply before purchasing a home warranty with AHS. This is the second time in 15 years that we have attempted to use their services having previously way overpaying for a water heater with them. After the water heater our neighbor replaced with the exact same model and it was half the price of going through AHS
Do your homework and save the money to simply pay out of pocket you will be further ahead
