HSA sent out work orders right away and both companies moved quickly in securing an appointment to see what was needed with our furnace. Being without heat, our house was 55 degrees which was very cold so I wanted to thank HSA in handling this so efficiently.

My first "claim" with AHS was a fantastic experience. Very easy to file a claim through the app. They quickly responded, gave me date, time, repair persons contact info. Repair person contacted me quickly to set up date and time for visit. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable. Extremely satisfied and highly recommend!!!!

Awful service! Brought it a third party company to service my furnace. The repair man was supposed to update my thermostat to a new thermostat from the old thermostat. He said that I was missing wire that they wanted to charge me $1000 for. Even though my thermostat was working fine prior to the repairman coming after he left my thermostat no longer worked, and I tried to reach out to American Home shield to have them rectify the situation and they told me there was nothing that they could do because the company wrote that they didn’t break it on their report. Awful company do not use!

Update 12-13-24 My washer is still broken. I requested the same technician return for what I hoped would be the final repair, both through AHS and the repair company, but that obviously didn’t happen. The technician ended up spilling washer water all over my laminate floors, which have now started to warp—another issue I’m left to deal with. Now, multiple parts are being sourced for the same problem, and I’m concerned about the quality of the equipment AHS is providing. I’m seriously doubtful this repair will actually fix the issue, if it even happens. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company.
12-10-24 My washer has been broken since November 8, 2024, and despite multiple visits from the repair team sent by AHS, the issue remains unresolved with no clear timeline for repair. One technician came out twice, only to determine that another part was needed. To my surprise, a new technician followed up to install the part previously ordered, only to find it wasn’t necessary at all. They then ordered the 'correct' part, only to discover it's now on back order with no updates available. Once (or if) this repair is ever completed, I will be reevaluating my home warranty to decide if it's worth continuing. While my prior communication with AHS has been fine, I’m increasingly concerned about the quality of the repair teams they employ.

I called AHS on Monday, the tech from Express Appliance Repairs came out on Tuesday assessed the issues, order the parts needed for the repairs. The parts arrive to my home on Wednesday and the Tech installed them on Thursday. I'm very happy with the quick completion of my repairs. I want them to service all of my future needs. Thank you!

The company that came out to repair my washer asked a bunch of questions before they came out. With that information they were able to narrow it down as to what the issue was and when they came out brought the part and my washer is back to working great.
