We had 4 windows replaced by Empire Home Remodeling earlier this year. Our salesman, Alec was very professional, friendly, and patiently answered our inquiries. The installation was exactly what we desired and the windows are beautiful.

Ah Man! We could not believe our luck! Finding certified - pro home improvement
for Racine Residence, without being robbed, is a blessing. ALEC ATKINS, EMPIRE HOME IMPROVEMENTS, is an absolute dream-come-true. I think (IMO) he "missed his calling". Alec is a natural educator, with perfect English speech. He understood our objectives, suggested alternatives per our budget, and offered featured promotions.
Thank you, EMPIRE HOME REMODELING, for dispatching ALEC ATKINS to our Racine home. We anticipate our new rear door entry. Alec is a keeper. He's with high enthusiasm, natural instinct. We appreciated working with him.

I am very pleased with the professionalism and quality of work done by Empire Home Remodeling. They were especially patient with the funding source of my bath modification project (walk in shower with window). Empire jumped through numerous hoops oftentimes repeatedly to get their part of the application done. Once everything was finally approved, the ordering of materials and installation was expeditious. The window and shower installers were superb. Whereas my house is over 100 years old, they met any unexpected challenges with a smile and skill set to complete the job. I highly recommend Empire Home Remodeling for your next project.

We hired Empire for windows and siding. The cost was high. It is important to know that Empire does not have installers of their own. They contract all their work out. My siding was beautiful. They did take back all the material left from my siding order and did not deduct that cost from my bill. We had 3 months of issues with the window install. They had to come back repetivly to repair and fix issues with the original install. The window installers never came before 11 am and would expect to stay till 7:30-8pm each day. The caulk work was so sloppy. It was either smeared all over the windows or it had gaps were the outside trim and windows met. Leaving it open to the elements. I sent pictures and Called Megan regularly with details as to what was needed to be fixed. Megan called to set up the last window to be installed that was broken on delivery and fix all the ad caulking and trim work that was not correct or scarred. I told her that I only wanted them to come back one more time. After a month of people coming three more times because they were not prepared for the repairs that many times. THE LAST TIME THE CONTRACTORS CAME FOR REPAIRS THEY BROUGHT THEIR CHILDREN both under 10 years old. I called the owner Mellisa and spoke to her about my concerns. She said she would get back to me by the next evening regarding my complaints. She never called me back till 2 weeks after the last crew came for repairs and that's when I stopped talking to her team because I have given up on a quality job. She left a message saying that since I hadn't sent my last payment in that two week time that she was sending me to her legal team to take me to court for the last of the money. The contract said you pay half down and half when they are finished. I paid half when they started and amounts in 10 or 9 thousand increments because Megan said they needed the money to pay their workers. So, I actually didn't wait till the job was finished to pay the full last half. I had been making payments all along because they couldn't afford to pay their employees without it. I still have damaged windows and things not complete and siding damage by chemicals used to remove bad caulking. If a company tells you they are sueing you after the last of the work was done less then two full weeks later, you know that company is in financial despair!

Just signed to have siding done on our house. This house has been a rehab job that took us far too long and is a complete mess. I've contacted a number of companies and have to say Darren Hill is the utmost in professionalism. He's very knowledgeable, very wonderful to work with and just an all around good guy. He was also very respective of our time knowing we have a very high energy toddler.
I got quotes from a few companies including one that advertises on local TV and Empire was the only one that listened to my requests and answered all my questions.
Contact signed in August of 2023 with anticipation of work completed by the end of the year. It's may 2024 now and they have to send another group of (guessing sub contractors) to attempt to fix the mistakes of the three previous crews.
3 stars for now and will edit again once the job is completed.
June of 2024 and I believe we have had 4 or 5 crews out now trying to "fix" things and this have done slightly better but I was cleaning my gutters (which had a great deal of vinyl siding shrapnel, nails and broken siding) and I noticed our daughters window wasn't even caulked and is sticking out on one side so rain can easily fall behind it. I fear what's going to happen in winter.
They still have a bunch of siding in our yard that I had to move myself for a graduation party. At the party a friend handed me two handfuls of nails he picked up just walking around the house.
At this stage, I don't even want them in my yard and I can't, in good faith, recommend them to anyway. My co-worker who gave me their contact info feels pretty bad as I update him daily. He got their windows and was going to use them again until this all happened.
Now, my wife and I are constantly worried our house will destroy itself from the inside out. It wasn't a cheap job either. We are going to try and save enough to have it removed and fixed correctly in a few years. It's been a pretty disappointing and expensive experience.
Below is just one example of a badly framed window.
Less than 6 months and I'm already going to have to fix mistakes. See additional pictures taken 8/23/24. Beware.

Initial estimate was set up within 1 day! Brandon came out and was extremely professional and was happy to play Vanna White with all the product samples so I could get an accurate view of what the finished product might look like within the bathroom. He understood I didn't have a lot of time to sit with him, and I knew what I wanted so we moved through the decision process quickly and efficiently. I am looking forward to the install and will follow up with photos at that time.
Update: Bath is installed and we love it. It did take 2 days and because their master plumber was out I pulled and managed the permit process, but everything went smoothly and passed inspection.

After meeting with Alec today I am regretful to have invested 4,000 on home depot windows before meeting with Empire. Ask for Alec , he's a very nice professional that I trust , he's honest , working with him has been a pleasure and surely expect to have him come back to finish the rest of my home. Simply the best sales guy I've ever met. Thank you Empire. I'll be highly recommend img to my friends and family .

Alec our sales rep for empire home repair was fantastic. Alex came out to give us an estimate for new windows on a home we just purchased. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable about the company and thr product. We were very impressed and happy with Alec, enough that we closed the deal and will have 7 new windows in the next few weeks. Thanks Alec for making this process easy.

Alec was very professional when he came to give us an estimate on a door install. Alec took his time with us to make sure we were happy with all of the finishes on the door and he was great at explaining the quality of their doors. I am confident in this company and was able to sign the contract today. I will refer Empire Home Remodeling to friends and family and will be confident in using them for any future projects that I will need done.

We are so thankful for Empire Home Remodeling and Alec who came out to give us an estimate. We have been needing a new front door for quite some time and we are excited that we were able to sign a contract for a new one. Alec was on time, very communicative, and not pushy in his sales. We were able to get everything that we wanted in a new front door and can't wait to have it installed!
