Jacob Stephenson is the best! Having our kitchen cabinets refaced by Reborn was an easy and seamless process. Everyone from Abby to Joseph was great to work with. But to have Jacob in our home to do the installation was the best part of the project. He was very skilled and completely capable, of course. He arrived on time and tidied up every day. He was focused on getting the work done on time and making sure every detail was handled. He didn’t just do the work, but he cared that it was done well and with great professionalism. He has high standards for himself and his handiwork, and it shows. He completed the installation on schedule and cleaned up perfectly. But beyond all those things, he was warm and friendly. Thank you, Jacob, for taking what could have been a very stressful week and making it a joy.

Our shower install was done by Jose Torres, and he has done an exceptional job. We’ve had to make some last minute adjustments to the design and he’s been gracious and accommodating. The shower itself is beautiful and you can see the high standard of materials and installation. We’ll definitely use Reborn again when we redo our other bathroom.

Reborn’s Jacuzzi Product vs Traditional Tile
When remodeling your bathrooms, for the most part, it is a choice between traditional tile and one of the new products out there that presents a new take on traditional tile.
While leaving Costco one day, we noticed the ads for Reborn’s bath remodeling. We thought: “Why not get a quote?” The salesperson, Joe Torres, was very nice and had a ‘soft touch’ in regards to making a sale. Caleb, who was the project coordinator, introduced himself via text- we never met Caleb nor Giovanni, our project manager- and confirmed our appointment. Four installers worked on our two showers. Work started on a Monday and finished Thursday, or least I thought it had until I turned on the showers to find they didn’t work. Our installers had thanked us for letting them work on our remodel and smiled brightly as they packed up and left- apparently without doing any testing.
We turned on one shower and no water came out- nothing. We were in shock. We went to the other shower and turned it on. Cold water blasted out of it, but that was all- when we turned it to hot, only a small amount of water dripped out.
We contacted Reborn and received no reply that afternoon; we spoke with Giovanni the next day and explained the situation. He said it should be an easy fix, but it not, they would have to look at our water heater. What? Oh, no, no, no- don’t you dare blame me the homeowner when it clearly is a problem with the installation, otherwise how do you explain that the fact that one shower doesn’t even have water coming out of it? There was no sense of urgency to solve the problem. He finally did manage to get one of the four installers to return that Friday afternoon. The installer after looking at both showers said that they had forgotten to turn on three of the water mixer valves. Finally both hot and cold water was running. We begged him to test the shower heads before leaving future projects. We said that we understand that you wanted the chalk to dry, but you have to make sure that that the water valves are open and functioning. “Rookie mistake” he replied. What? All four of the installers were rookies? That’s not the impression I was given as one of them said that he had years of experience.
When the city inspector was doing his final inspection, he asked if Reborn had done a leak test- making sure that the showers were draining properly by plugging the drain and filling it with water to see if any water leaked out at the bottom of the pan. We said that we doubted it since they hadn’t even bothered to see if the valves were open and the showers useable. He offered to put the need for a test down as a requirement for passing the final inspection, but we declined as we didn’t want anymore installers returning yet again- we had had enough.
So, would I recommend this product?
The product is lovely (even the city inspector was impressed), it comes with a 25 year warranty, and it is Jacuzzi. It claims not to stain, however, I have spent over a month trying to remove a line of what appears to be dirt in one of the showers. Using water and vinegar as recommended definitely didn’t remove the stain. Disappointing since the lack of staining was suppose to be a advantage over tile.
Pros:
Beauty, durability, ease of caring for the product, and the 25 year warranty.
Cons:
High cost, the need to pay in full in advance of any work starting, lack of urgency in solving problems - I dread having to file a claim for repairs in the future- really hope the product holds up. Also of concern is the vast amount of dirt and debris caused by the project (see photos). A lot of debris was removed daily, but some was left behind, including chunks of debris which remain behind the shower (see photo).
I recommend this product with reservations.
Before deciding, ask yourself if:
You like tile, or if you prefer something new?
Are you willing to pay more for the Jacuzzi product which is more expensive than tile?
Do you know a great tile installer or would you prefer a 25 year warranty?
Choose wisely.

We used Reborn in 2018 and had a great experience, the price was amazing and the end result was exactly what we wanted. Fast forward to a few months ago, my wife saw that Reborn was working with Costco. We bought several services with Costco and have had good experiences to this point. The representative showed up on time and was very nice. I have nothing bad to say about him. The quote was a different story. The quote came in almost four times the amount that we spent to have a similar sized kitchen worked on. My jaw dropped at the price. The expansion has apparently driven the cost far beyond what the actual service is. Don’t blame Covid for the company’s greed.

I recently had a new shower installed by Reborn, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, the entire experience was fantastic. Emmanuel was incredibly professional, arriving on time and ready to work. He paid attention to every detail, ensuring that the installation was done to the highest standard.
The end product is absolutely beautiful—it's exactly what I envisioned and more. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and it's clear that they take great pride in their work. They also kept the work area clean and made sure everything was perfect before they left.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality installation and excellent service. I will definitely be using them for future projects!

Beware on the longevity of the Reborn thermofoil cabinet door construction! These are not built to last and neither is the customer service relationship. We were pleased with the original installation and overall look back at the end of 2018. However, 5 years to the T, their thermofoil seal (glue) on a handful of the cabinet doors has started to detach and peel back (see photos) along with the edge seal on several drawers. Reborn must know this is likely as the 25 year warranty does not include the door thermofoil construction after 5 years! I’ve called and emailed for 5 months now and no one will even return my call to figure out any option we may have. Once the sale and installation is done, the customer is no longer important to them. It’s a shame because we liked the refacing in 2019 but now the kitchen doors are unpresentable and we’re simply stuck. If you’re ok spending $20K for a 5 year lifespan with Reborn cabinet doors, then go for it…otherwise go with a true cabinet company.

I’m happy with the new shower although the price is high. The install time of 1 day made it practical for me. The salesperson was thorough. The installers were efficient and had good communication. The assigned project manager was basically incommunicado until I contacted the salesman to verify the crew was coming as scheduled several weeks before.

Reborn is a great remodeling company. Victor and Ray did a phenomenal job. They prepped the work area, the path to the shower, and my bedroom with plastic sheeting and drop cloths.
They were very professional and completed the shower remodel in 2 days. They were very neat, professional, courteous and expert craftmen
Our newly remodeld shower is beautiful! I highly recommend Reborn.

See before and after photos. Had one bathroom cabinet done through Costco/Reborn. Wanted to keep everything from the granite counter up so refacing was my only option. The result looks great. Unexpected Issues with the project were worked out satisfactorily (small drawers could not be replaced with new drawers but could get new fronts, handles were too large for the non-replaced side drawers so used knobs instead). The installers were professional, courteous, knew what they were doing, and the results look high quality. Project was completed in about five hours with the installers not taking any breaks. My only problem with Reborn is its pricing. Originally quoted at $6900 then reduced to $5800 if we paid in full and signed off on project that day. When side drawers couldn't be replaced, got a further reduction with manager intervention so total cost was around $5300. A 10% Costco card coming back to me at the end of the project will offset overall cost to $4770, a LOT of money for this project. Brochure describes "up to 10 free drawers are included with your project." Seems there should be a different baseline for quoting smaller project. The material applied to front face of the cabinet was only about 1 mm thick. I would ask for any leftover project material as it is cuttable with effort and makes great shelf liner. Rating is for quality of the work and materials.

Work was done well by Installers Carlos and David and they cleaned after the job each day. The only issues: (1) Communication issues with materials and engineering to do the job, 2) not letting the customer know that drawer size would change due to soft-close installation, 3) Reborn is short-staffed for the amount of projects they do.
Reborn had to re-order 6 doors that were not good, and hinges were not properly noted by engineer so two doors were left open. Took another month for them to fix, but they came through. Also, was not pleased they did not have enough staff for the job. They had scheduled second visit in June (one month later from original job) and John, the project manager, called me the day of, to delay for 5 hours the job til the afternoon. This was not good. I understand the short staff, but the agreed upon schedule should be honored, especially a month in advance. More coordination is need to schedule jobs with existing available staff. Do not overload staff since they have to drive long distances. They should have scheduled Carlos, who lived in Oxnard, to do the job instead of David who had to drive hours to get here. It would be more cost effective to use local staff and better for customers. I give them 4 stars due to Carlos and David, but really 3 stars for Reborn.
