I stayed here for an hour and counted 8 workers pass me by while I stood there in the lumber section. I finally went to the front to ask for help and she said she would send someone.. saw someone coming and was thankful until I realized he was helping another customer. Then saw 2 workers and thought they were coming to help me..
Nope, they were too deep into their conversation while I stood in front of them with my arms folded and went out of their way to step around me. I always use Lowe’s and thought I’d give Home Depot a try since it’s closer to my home. I’ll never step foot in a Home Depot again. The worker/customer ratio was about 20 to 3 but they had rather stand around talking to each other than do their jobs.

I had an unbelievable experience recently thanks to the assistant manager, Lee. I went in and purchased 12 pieces of shiplap that were 12 feet long and I needed them to be cut so that I could get them into my car. I ran into Lee and asked him if he would be able to cut them and he said “Unfortunately, the saw is not working today”. And I was bummed because I really needed to complete this project at my house. So, Lee added, “I’m not going to leave you hanging, though; There’s another way to do this”. He said, “I can just cut each piece by hand”. And I replied, no way…you are crazy…there is no way that I would expect you to cut all of these pieces of shiplap by hand. But he was serious, and he proceeded to cut each piece one by one. I told him I had to write this review because this is an example of above and beyond service and everyone should know about it. All I want to say is, THANK YOU, LEE! You not only saved the day for the project I was working on, but you made my day with going above and beyond to help me. You and Home Depot were there for me when I needed you most!

Was planning a project and needed various cuts of wood in all different measurements. I didn't know much about the wood or what I needed other than a few measurements I had an a drawing that I made, which if you can imagine was not the best. I went walking around for some help when I ran across Kalifah, he was on his way to lunch however I must of looked lost so he offered to help. Not only did he help myself and my friend figure out what we needed, he also helped us to get all of the wood cut to the measurements we needed. He was extremely helpful and courteous and even sacrificed taking his lunch a little later for us which was very appreciated. You don't see that very often anymore and I wanted to take the time out to acknowledge him for this, would absolutely go back to this location again if needed.

I’m building a 4000 square-foot home For myself and I need doors and windows. I went to San Luis Obispo Home Depot. Nobody’s around At the windows desk. I. asked A random employee to call somebody, nobody showed. Went to Home Depot in Santa Maria. There was a guy there, but he didn’t know Anything. Tried to pretend that he did, but couldn’t even tell me The basic difference between windows brands. I called him he said yeah I don’t know anything. The windows guy will be back in three days. I went back to the San Luis Obispo store. Nobody around. I asked two different employees to call somebody To the window desk. No one showed . I Asked one more time on my way out the door, she said there’s a button on the desk I can push and somebody will come. Went back looked all over for a button to push. I couldn’t find a button to push and I’m tired of them, pushing mine. Don’t go to Home Depot doors and windows.

An absolute dump. They don't have things in stock in store. I waved down 3 employees for help. Not one came over or offered to help. I have always been a Home Depot girlie, but those days are done. Everyone has an awful attitude. Lowes is 10x better. This is supposed to be Home Depot's flagship store. Pathetic. Will never give my money to Home Depot again.

So there's a display stating that pick whatever tool you want they're only $99 a piece. I was interested in DeWALT circular saw (DCS391B). When I got to the register it rung up $200 so I told them this was a mistake and they asked me to go back there and take a picture. When I bring the picture back they tell me they need to get a manager. Then why would you have me go take a picture? The manager shows up only to ask me to walk back there again so we can look at it together and I explain to them it's going to look the same as the picture I just took. Clowns. Then she begins to tell me that it's the wrong circular saw on the display. So you mean to tell me every saw up here is the wrong one and you're not going to honor the price you're going to charge me $200 for something that's $99. They offered $50 dollars off but again we're talking about the special is $99 so this is still not a deal even if it was the wrong circular saw which it wasn't you should still honor the advertised price. I verified the model number on the saw and took a picture of it. She tells me the model I want is a wood saw and this is a metal saw. I explained to her that the blade is going to determine what it will cut. We're talking about a manager here LOL some of us actually work for a living so I can't go back and forth with them all day as I have work to do. So I proceeded to drive to the Marietta Home Depot on Roswell Road. When I walked in they had the exact same display. I verified the model number was the same as the one at the Cumberland store. I put it in my buggy and checked out for $99. The Cumberland store really needs to get their business together. The people that work there are not knowledgeable nor do they honor advertise prices. Anyone shopping here needs to know that SIGNS means nothing as they will just make up the prices when you get to the register depending on how they feel. The manager's resolution at the Cumberland stores to take $50 off $200 and sell me a $99 circular saw for 150. That was their resolution as opposed to just honoring what they have advertised which was really the correct place in the first place. I only came to this store because it was convenient to the job that I was working at. I will actually never shop here again and wouldn't encourage others not to as well

I'll give it 3 stars because they really need to work a bit harder in their attention with the pro department. As a daily fast paced customer, it is definitely not beneficial to wait in line for 10min. To then have the cashiers delay you an additional hour! Doesn't happen always, but too often than not. Other than that 5 stars for the customer service of the people on the floor, their paint department t goes above and beyond, inventory is quite sorted too. I do want to say that Ruby in Pro is excellent at attending our needs.

I’m just appointed in the store, however much money they make and returns that they have. They have not updated their stupid system to have Apple Pay or by having people pay with our phones on the card on their phones. What a joke if you guys said that she would make more money you just lost me as a customer.

Aaron Assistant manager was great! Took control of the warranty return for Rheem water heater after he saw how much of a big deal it was. Was such a hassle as everyone else is refunding the full amount to replace, but after Aaron saw the problem, he was able to get his Local Plumbers satisfied and able to fix the water heater for the customer that night. Thank you, Aaron. That's Customer Service.

I work for a company and always have to use the Pro Desk for phone sales. I'm always able to put in my own company card information everytime I'm at any other Home Depot, but the lady named Tess who worked the Pro Desk at this location wouldn't let me, and she was very rude about it. I told her I always use the phone sale but I can always put in my company card information without having to call my office because my office sees what I purchase anytime. I use the company card. But she refused to let me put it in. I honestly wouldn't have cared about this little issue and I would have just let her call my office but I only wanted to leave this review because she was just really rude about it. It really rubbed me the wrong way. What difference does it make if she had to call somebody? Because for all she knows I could have just given her the phone number to some random person.
