Accolade Windows & Doors

I was renovating an older home in East Austin and needed to replace pretty much every window plus install a sliding glass door. The process was smooth, and the crew really knew what they were doing. They kept everything clean and worked quickly without cutting corners. The house looks so much better, and I’m already noticing a difference with noise reduction and energy efficiency. Great experience all around!

As a new homeowner, finding reliable contractors has been stressful, but these guys were fantastic from start to finish. I needed several windows replaced and a new front door installed. The team explained everything clearly, gave me a fair estimate, and stuck to it. The quality of the windows and door exceeded my expectations. I’d absolutely use them again for any future projects!

I needed to replace all of the original windows in my 90's house, about 13 or so. Huge shout out to Toby, from day one he was super helpful and accommodating, always able to answer questions or give advice. I never felt pressured, obligated or urged to do anything, everything was about what my wife and I wanted. If he didn't know the answer to a question, he wasn't confidently incorrect and would find out and get back to us quickly. We had what I think are fairly specific and unique asks as far as design and Toby, very patiently, worked with us over multiple quotes, phone calls and site visits to finally get to what we wanted, visually and financially.

A complicating factor in all this is that i'm also in the middle of a near total remodel so there was some timeline coordination to be done between window installers and other trades coming in and out. Toby was able to work with the designers and their teams to make sure certain rooms were prioritized so the trades could keep their schedule. The installers were great, everything installed in about 2 days. I'm very surprised by how fast and clean everything was. I expected a good amount of dust but it was minimal. In the carpeted areas they laid out thick floor protectors and made sure everything was the way they found it. There was one window that was broken at the warehouse(Pella's fault) and Toby stayed on top of it and kept me updated throughout, eventually getting the final window installed a couple weeks later.

I'm pending delivery of materials but Toby and the team will also be doing my siding and i'll update then. For now the front of my house looks fresh and my windows aren't literally falling apart anymore.

His technical expertise really stood out—he even visited my home to personally explain which type of windows would work best for my use case. When my installer made a mistake, Toby came back and advised us on how to fix it. The entire team was attentive and went above and beyond in every aspect. I’ve never had such a positive experience with a window supplier before. Truly outstanding service!

We initially needed a sash replaced and we had a hard time finding a company that wanted to just replace one sash. I finally found Accolade windows and it has been great. Toby is so professional but yet so friendly, he worked with us to add two windows in our attic space and they turned out perfect. The crew that showed up to install them were so nice, they were quick but very thorough. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend them to anyone.

As a residential construction company, the relationships we develop with our subcontractors are vital. Accolade has been a great partner. They take their time to educate our clients so the best selection of windows can be made for their lifestyle and budget. Fantastic communication. Competitive pricing. Had over half a dozen window companies come and give estimates, but never giving the full details of installation. I have viny siding and interior shutters, which is not a simple install. When I asked salesmen about it, they all informed me that was not a problem. Accolade was honest and up front about installation being difficult and explained in great detail how the install would be done.
I changed my mind numerous times on type of windows, color, glass, manufacturer and frames. Accolade was very patient and gave great support for helping make the final decisions.
Install was August 30, 2023 and the house was much cooler for the remaining of summer. With winter winds, found some windows having air leaks and Toby was at the house within a day to add additional caulking and check that all windows were air tight.
The windows look great and have definitely added to curb appeal.

Initial conversations with Accolade vs. competitors was so smooth - Accolade didn't try and upsell, or try and talk me into any other product that I needed. Toby gave me the pros and cons to all options, and the whole process, which I greatly appreciated.

When it came to installing - it went perfectly. We had a lot of windows to replace, so it took 2 full days. The crew was on time, respectful of the house, and knowledgeable. Toby did final walk throughs with me and even noticed (I didn't) one screen missing, which he promptly ordered, and delivered it and installed it himself once it arrived. When doing the final walkthrough, he even came back at the end of the day to clean some very hard to reach windows so it would look perfect.

We have had the windows for almost a year and all has gone well. No leaks, cracks, issues, or breakage. Some windows have taken a bit to get their bearings and are still adjusting, but we can open/close/lock them just fine.
