Congratulations, AHS is the most dysfunctional companies I've ever used in my lifetime!
No call backs, poorly chosen employees and MANY SERIOUS INTERNAL PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's been about 3 weeks since my dishwasher broke and I've called them over 20 times.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have always been please with the services that I have had in the past. 30 yrs ago when we bought this house it came with AHS and we used it for our water heater which stopped working 30 days after we moved in. 10 yrs ago my husband passed away and I remembered how helpful AHS was and I knew I couldn’t afford to pay for anything to be replaced. So I again started using AHS and several times I had an appliance stop working and called them out. The service techs have always been kind and answered my questions. Ill always talk up how great it is to have their service. I will continue to use AHS 👍

The job is sloppy. I called them. They have not returned. The spigot is hanging off the side of the house with two screws. Meanwhile, there are screw holes in the siding and you can see into the wall. They haven’t come back to repair.

The experience I have had with American Home Shield has been absolutely amazing and above and beyond any other home coverage! I wish I was introduced to them sooner.

I am giving them a 1 star only because I cannot give them a zero stars. My experience has been horrendous. Let’s start with the customer service from JR. He is extremely unprofessional and has no sense or urgency or sympathy towards the issues at hand. Secondly and most importantly the technician that American Home Shield sent out to originally asses my dryer took no more than maybe 5 minutes and then lied and told American Home Shield that my dryer was working but it was only making noise. What he failed to see was that my dryer was shutting off after running for 5 minutes. Therefore not truly working. The technician told me that he would order a part and return to fix it but he told the home warranty that the issue was resolved. I patiently waited for Exclusive Appliance Repair to contact me when the part came in to fix my dryer but almost 2 weeks later I called the American Home Shield wondering what happened. They then told me that Exclusive Appliance Repair closed my ticket because the issue was resolved. When I expressed my frustration to tell them that I have been without a dryer for 2 weeks the American Home Shield said that they would get with Exclusive Appliance Repair and expedite their return so they can reassess my dryer. I received a call from the repair company to tell me that they wouldn’t be able to return for 5 days. And then asked me to request for another company because they do not want to come back to my house. I called American Hope Shield and talked with Jr and he told me that I had no choice that they had to return and that they could send anyone else. I asked him to transfer me to the escalation department he then put me on hold for 10 minutes came back and then told me that someone would get back with me between 24 and 48 hours. At this point, all I need is my dryer to work, but I will not renew my contract nor ever sign up with American Home Shield again. It’s not worth your money or aggravation. The appliance companies they use work slow and have no sense of urgency. I have not had my dryer working consistently for the last 6 months.

Took almost six months to get paid on my washing machine. A company called American Home Shield only employs people overseas that are hard to understand and can’t transfer you to an American etc.

Made a request for a leaking shower not knowing what was leaking. Plumber came out and fixed a leaking pipe and left. I turned them shower on and water is leaking through the tile less than 3 inches from the other leak. Called the plumber, he says call ahs. Called ahs, they refused to attach it to the original request and charge me another fee for a new ticket. Very displeased with this to say the least.
