I had a walk-in shower conversion completed about five weeks ago, I wanted to let some time pass to prevent any knee jerk reactions here. I don’t regret the decision to do the install but I do have thoughts. Some of my complaints may seem petty but these companies charge a premium, let’s just say that for the $$ I expected things to be perfect. They are not.
The Good
-The installers were courteous, friendly even. They showed up on time, respected my home and cleaned up pretty well after themselves.
-The shower looks fantastic. It feels solid, like it will last a very long time.
The Bad
-I was given false information by the sales rep. First, the install did NOT take one day. It took one guy + a helper two very long full days. Secondly, I knew I wanted a two shower head system, even had one picked out but the rep talked me into one made by jacuzzi. I asked directly if both shower heads could provide flow at the same time. He told me yes. Then the installer even showed me how (with the water off because the silicon had to set). This was not the case. Why I was told it was by two people I do not know. Its flow to one head or the other, not both. Had I known I would have gone a different route but because of the way it is plumbed I appear to be stuck with this.
-The installation tore the hell out of my ceiling. More than a few nicks and gouges. Nothing I can’t handle with some spackle and paint but for this money, I shouldn't have to. Both the competing bids I received included leaving the bathroom as it was found. Had Caliber done this, it would have been appreciated.
-Minor point here but the drain is off-center in relation to its hole in the shower base. It is very noticeable. I should have picked up on it during the install inspection, not that anything could have been done at that point, but I guess I was too distracted by the state of my ceiling. Again, for the cost this should not be an issue.
-This is the big one for me. The width of my new shower (wall to shower door) is 27.5”. My shower base is 32” wide. I expected to lose some of that with the thickness of the wall material and the shower doors. To lose that much, 4.5”, of the width seems excessive. The end result is that my brand-new expensive shower is no wider than the fiberglass bath insert that it replaced. I still can't shower without bumping up against that wall/shower door constantly. Frustrates me every time I use it.
Conclusion: Was it perfect? No. Was it worth the cost? Maybe. Would I do it again? Yes.

We contacted them to install a jacuzzi shower system in a guest house we built for my in-laws. We have experienced so many problems with Caliber. The first crew installed the system incorrectly. Caliber ordered new product and sent a more experienced crew. They neglected to send the correct color window kit and the glass door had a large defect. New door and window kit ordered. When the crew returned, we discovered the panels around the window wall had cracked. Another reorder, we waited around today, only to be no showed. We could not be more frustrated!

The sales guy came and gave us all of the info about a Kohler walk-in tub. We were impressed with his knowledge of materials and operations. When push came to shove the price of the Kohler tub was way out of our budget. We told him this and he was able to get us an older model American Tub brand that was near equal in quality and features for well within our budget. Installer came and did a great job on the install. The only thing is that he didn't have the thermostatic valve that was $750 and included in the price. I called about it and Tory was helpful but couldn't deduct the price of the missing valve. We elected to just replace our existing water heater with an expansion tank which did the job. I feel like the salesman,Jason, was just trying to do anything to make the sale. He knew a lot about walk-in tubs, but nothing about plumbing and requirements. We're very happy with the tub, but feel like the sales part was less than transparent.

Caliber installed a beautiful shower in our Master bath. Did all the work in one day. The two gentleman they sent were very professional.

These guys did a great job installing a new stair lift in our home. The project started with their representative coming to our place to discuss options for gaining disabled access to our lower floor and was very helpful in our decision. In only a week the installers put in our lift. They were on-time, professional, friendly and did an excellent job explaining how the system worked and how to maintain it. I highly recommend Caliber.

Love the kohler tub! The experience with the installers have been awful. They ruined my mom's floors with the install! Casey and Danny promised they would make good on fixing the floors and now I've been ghosted by them. The tub was installed on June 4th, they tried one fix that made the floors worse, then promised again they would get it fixed. It's now it's almost September, and nothing. I would not recommend Caliber for your install

Great job I love my new walk-in shower Danny, Jesse and the whole crew did a great job.
Tory in the office was amazing and I even had the chance to talk to the CEO of the company Mr. Oneal who made sure that everything was going to be okay which it really made feel great, they all cover everything that I needed and made it right it definitely exceeded my expectations I am very satisfied with the job and the end product.
I would highly recommend Caliber Home Solutions to anybody that’s is interested in a bath remodel thank you again Caliber👍👍👍

Had Caliber install a walk-in shower so we would not be climbing over a tub as it is getting harder to do now that we are both in our 70s. We are NOT impressed with the unfinished state of the install. The front edges of the shower are left unfinished and the chipped paint and work marks are plainly visible. Unfortunately, the fact that finish trim is not included in the install is not addressed during the sales presentation nor is it easily noted in any of the pictures of installs used in advertising of the products. For the price of the installation (which is substantial) you would think that $50 worth of trim would be included. We would NOT recommend this company. I gave it two stars because we have no complaints about the product itself, just the installation.
EDIT: After initial review we were contacted about having the installer come out and correct the installation. They scheduled a time and came in with the needed materials to complete the installation to our satisfaction and apologized for having rushed the installation in the first place. The installer also made sure to ask if there were any other questions and demonstrated a few of the options that the shower had that we were not aware of prior to his visit. The end result is that we are pleased with the new shower in every way and I would revise my recommendation to YES for this company.

My Grandma had these jokers come and install her shower and did a piss poor job to say the least. She still hasn’t got her bathroom done and it has been since March 26th and here it is June 17th and she still hasn’t been able to use her shower. Here are some of the items of concern:
1. Customer service goes around and around and never gets you a solution
2. The shower door is not level and leaks when the shower is used.
3. The trim doesn’t match
4. Trim is falling off the wall after 3 weeks of sitting there.
5. Shower head was way too high.
6. The Surround only went partially up the wall.
7. Caulk wan’t put were it was suppose to. So possible leaking into the walls and floor.
8. Have called many times and still no fixes.
Very frustrated and looking to go get an attorney to sue them for taking Advantage of my grandma. Not a happy camper.

Still waiting not even a return phone call we have tried 6-10 times to get a reply or an update on what is going to happen….. crickets. Angry customer……..

We were facing the possibility of having to sell the home we bought 25 years ago because we had troubles negotiating two flights of stairs to get from our bedroom on the 2nd level to the ground level garage. We had 2 Bruno straight chair lifts installed by Caliber Home Solutions and couldn’t be happier. Just days after consulting with them, an installer came out and, in one afternoon, both units were installed, giving us freedom to stay in the home we love.
