Castle Windows

I just had three windows installed into my bedroom.
Pros: Everything was very timely and quick, from the presentation to the measurements to installation. The installers did a great job of putting in the windows and cleaning up. I could tell an immediate difference when the windows were installed. My old windows were so drafty that my room was almost ten degrees colder than the rest of the house. My daughter walked into my room after the installation and commented without prompting that all the draftiness was gone.

Cons: Castle doesn’t have the measurement team or installation team text/call to confirm or give ETAs. This caused a problem when the installation team arrived an hour and half earlier than the window I was told. I will say that when I called HQ to complain, they were extremely helpful and apologetic.

I would absolutely use Castle again. I already have a window I’m thinking about replacing with them next year.

I would love to share my experience for a job well done. I've used Castle windows twice and was so pleased with there products that I'm having them back to complete the last three windows in my home. From the very start this company was professional and worked along with me to complete my job so it was convenient for me and my schedule. They are a wonderful company to work with and always made certain everything was cleaned up and to my satisfaction. We had Castle Windows come out in 2023 and we couldn’t be any happier. We now have referred our neighbors because they’re interested in the windows. I’ve had the pleasure to meet Roberto and he has a great presentation and you would be in good hands.

My dad Richard had window replacements done by Castle Windows, who did such a great job that he recommended them for a job in my sister and brother in laws house. The representative Roberto was very friendly and informative, gave a full demonstration of how the installation would be done. Great experience!

Have a new window installed back in March. Start leaking water. Castle came and inspected. Said it could come from the window above which it never leaked down to the old window which was replaced before have a new window installed. Caulked the above window and the new window still leak. Called and discussed about the issue. Represent told me it may not be their responsibility to fix it. Will come to inspect again. If you are looking for a new window installation, think twice about this company. Will update the review after their second inspection.

Update: the supervisor came to my house and said it was not from the window above. He tried to fix the leaking but it failed. Called the second time, the same supervisor came and fixed it. It seems good to go this time. But I need to test it. I changed my review because of this supervisor. He knows what to do and how to get it done. After I test it, I will update my review.

Update: the supervisor came back another time after I report leaking again. He came over and took care of it. It is fixed now. The supervisor is nice and knowledgeable. He knew what to do and how to get it fixed. Hopefully, I will get someone who is knowledgeable to install the windows that will not cause leak.

Order a garage entry door and basement door. The garage entry door, no problems, but basement door, terrible. The salesperson & manager never listened to what I said, just sold me what they wanted. I wanted the same door that I had, just a newer version without dents. The installers showed up with a deadbolt door and installed an exterior metal door sill for an interior door. First off, nobody wants a basement door with a deadbolt unless you’re a serial killer or a kidnapper. Second, who the hell puts a metal door sill on an interior door? Not to mention, just had my hardwood floors refinished & they covered it with silicone. Complained about the deadbolt, manager tried to say they don’t make doors without deadbolts. Then after a few hours he called back and said they can replace the deadbolt door with a non deadbolt door. They will replace the deadbolt door but I still need to pay $600 for the new door that should’ve been the right door if they just listened, instead of just selling the most expensive door. Also, the installers left a bunch of old nails all over my driveway from when they removed the old basement door. Terrible experience, just stay away. In June 2022 we had Castle Windows replace every window in our entire. While we encountered a few issues, they were all rectified to our satisfaction in a somewhat timely fashion. In our experience, Castle Windows’ customer service was wonderful. A person answers the phone every time which lessens the frustration of dealing with automated systems. This is quality customer service. We were so pleased with our experience that this year, 2024, we decided to have our patio & front doors replaced. With the exception of the mis measurements of our front door and trim, we were equally satisfied this time around. They were on top of correcting the issue and beautifully installed the correct sizing of the Fypon door trim. Jose & Gary are top notch installers. They are meticulous, thorough, & professional.

I hired Castle to put in a sliding door, a bay window, and 2 bedroom windows. For about 10 years, we have had an unknown type of water problem around one of the bedroom windows. We paid to have it fixed, but the problem returned. The Castle crew had not been on the site for more than 15 minutes when the foreman correctly diagnosed the problem: it was the fact that something called “J channels” were draining the water right into our walls. This accounted for the rotting wood around our old deck doors as well as the persistent problems in the bedrooms. As one can see from the pictures, they beautifully remedied the ptoblem bu that strip of white material. I don’t feel as though 5 stars captures the immense gratitiude that I have for this team just for solving that mystery and then fixing it. The foreman and the salesman before him are both seasoned workers, with what I consider to be extraordinary perception. As one can see from the pictures, the next problem that the crew solved was where the bees were coming from that infiltrated our house. Look at the size of those nests! They built a new window that won’t give bees any openings to call my home their home. Again, pest control could not get to the bottom of this, but Castle Windows did! Also notice the mold from the old windows. I am very glad to get rid of all that with the disposal of our old non-weather tight windows. I was VERY impressed with the work and the skill of the entire crew. They worked hard and wasted no time. I walked away for one minute and when I cam back all of my furniture in the construction areas was covered with plastic and the floors had drop cloths on them. The house was not left a mess and there was absolutely no construction debris left behind. One worker, whose job it was to fetch things for the crew and help wherever needed, actually ran from place to place so as to not waste time. These workers were all highly skilled and worked many hours to make sure that everything was completed before they left. They were also friendly and courteous and worked with me on a few particulars of the job that I requested to be done a certain way. Finally, for the warranty…a few days after installation, my dog ran through the sliding screen door! I called Castle, they put me on the schedule and successfully attached the screen on the day scheduled. With Castle Windows, I originally viewed it as part of a process of elimination in solving a water problem. What they provided was those answers and the solutions. They uncovered problems that I was not even aware of and fixed them with the installation of excellent new windows and a door. I am extremely happy with their work and thankful for the expertise that they have employed to make my home a more peaceful and fit place to live.
