Two gentlemen from Whirlpool came to fix my dishwasher. They were very professional and had to replace the pump and motor. They did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves! Thank you for the great job!

Since my plumbing problem wasn't an emergency, I didn't mind waiting an extra day.I did appreciate being given the opportunity to call someone on my own if I had to. Drain Doctor worked diligently until he had my drain un clogged.I was happy!

Everything from filing my claim to assigning a repair company for my issue through getting a diagnosis to approval was top notch. Then the ball dropped, my washer is non repairable so they sent me an email with an offer on $547.00 in the form of an e-gift card to Lowe’s home improvement. Sounds great right now first of all the closet Lowe’s is over an hour away and second of all I paid over $700.00 for my washer. So I called and spoke to a claim specialist and explained my situation and the answer is we will only pay for a match to capacity, features, and efficiency. I have search for that combination and there isn’t a washer out there to match at that price. So I was told that the amount quoted would be the amount given. So I asked would I be getting that e-gift card today and she said no it takes 15-30 business days, that would fall between 5 March-26 March. This is not acceptable and if I wanted a check it would for sure be 30 business days. This means the earliest I would get the gift card would be sometime in March so I’m without a washer until then and I have 6 people in my family and do laundry almost every day. The point I am making is that we will most likely go and buy a washer and wait for the check to arrive and then pay off our credit card but there are people out there they don’t have that luxury and this is wrong. We paid for five years of a warranty. and everything has been great up to the payment and I was told there’s nothing I can do I said can I please speak to a supervisor and she told me that she’s at the top of the chain I said you have a boss and she said that’s the CEO I said OK so I have to look for an email for this E gift card. She said I can tell you it’s coming from it’s coming from, giftcards@cashstar.com. Well there is the problem they have contracted a company to do the payment and therefore you are no longer a customer at that point you are just a number. I would recommend this company however go in with your eyes open and know that payments take an extended amount of time. Just glad it wasn’t my refrigerator.

I'm not one to give bad reviews typically, but I have to say, I'm so frustrated with Choice Home Warranty that I have to speak up so other's might not make the same mistake I did. I have (had) 4 properties with a Choice Home Warranty. As a Real Estate Agent/ Property owner/ Investor, having a home warranty SHOULD provide peace of mind for when appliances break, the home warranties should help offset the costs of repairs/ replacements. I formerly had American Home Shield home warranties and became frustrated due to their lack of coverage, so I switched to Choice when I heard a sales person speak of "how great they are". I paid for several years in advance on 4 different properties and it has been a complete and total waste of my money! Choice hasn't covered one thing! I've made multiple claims and all they do is deny claims stating it is outside of normal wear and tear, EVEN WHEN I HAVE SERVICE RECORDS THAT I HAVE SERVICED THEM! It has been a fight every time, arguing, paying service call fees for NOTHING. This latest claim was a joke because they denied a claim on a 5 year old mini-split condenser because the service technician said it was a "possible power surge/short" and Choice said that was outside of normal wear and tear and therefore wasn't covered. Mind you, the technician was guessing, as he never even opened up the plastic cover of the board, so he saw no evidence of a power surge or a short. The breaker hadn't tripped, no evidence of burnt wires or anything, but it is outside of their coverage. This was just the final straw of a long line of disputes with them. I have an Old Republic home warranty on another property and they have been FANTASTIC! Easy to work with, they have covered 3 mini split claims and 1 Condenser claim THIS YEAR! No problems, no hassles, no complaints. SO, I asked Choice to refund my remaining contract and I am moving all of my properties to Old Republic. I'm receiving over $8,000 in refund of my unused contract from Choice and it baffles me that Choice would rather lose my 4 properties and refund my unused policy than pay my claim. By the way - the cobweb inside of the unit in the first picture was referenced as a reason for their denial of the claim. Nadia in their dispute department said it "restricted air flow" What a joke! Also, in the second picture you can see the board hasn't even been opened to reveal what might or might not be a short, but there is certainly no real evidence of any. The photos also show that there isn't any debris or bushed or any abuse of the unit which would show anything outside of normal wear and tear. Oh well - poor business in my opinion, but I'm moving on. Just be warned about this company - THEY DO NOT WANT TO HONOR CLAIMS!!!!!

Customer service is really good and helpful. Do have an issue about how long it takes for issues to be resolved. I'm still waiting to see how things resolve before totally forming an opinion.

Where to start. They sell a plan and then repeatedly refuse to service it. Today, after waiting a week for resolution with our kitchen stove, I contacted a local repair company. Ends up the ignitor and burn tube were bad. Choice decide, they were not willing to cover the time nor the charge for our local repairman. Choice said the ignitor was not normal wear and tear. Keep in mind no one can access the ignitor without taking the stove apart.
Lets go back to this past December. Furnace failed. They could not find me a repair service. I had one of our local companies come out. I had a bad ignitor and a worn out thermostat. ZERO was covered by Choice. Go back to last summer, our AC failed. Was a bad blower motor and housing. The motor seized and required both to be replaced. Again, I had to pay for all of it out of pocket. Why, this time choice claimed the housing should not need replacing. Even though it was damaged.
Finally, our refrigerator failed. Once again, I had to find a technician. The team that arrived said one of our control boards were bad, and due to the cost of the control boards, recommended replacement. Choice decided, a control board going bad was not "normal" and the replacement was completely at my expense.
ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES OUT THERE.
Be weary, a complete ripoff!
We are working with the BBB and considering legal actions at this time.
Don't trust Choice Home Warranty, your better off putting the money they charge for your coverage in a CD and then pulling it if and when needed!

One night, my outdoor fan unit started shaking & banging. CHW sent a guy who determined that one of the bolts fixing the fan motor to the mount had split in two pieces; see photos. However, the claim was denied, the explanation being that the bolt was reported “missing”, i.e. “removed by the customer”, which doesn’t count as wear & tear. I naturally appealed the denial, saying “No, it’s not missing, it’s there. Both halves. It broke.” One would think it couldn’t get any more straightforward… but no, they refused to budge.
CHW provides a good service… most of the time. They might just decide to deny you anyway.
