DO NOT USE ELEVATION SOLAR!!! NOT HONORING WARRANTY FOR A FAULTY SOLAR SYSTEM THEY INSTALLED. IF YOU WANT TO SPEND TENS OF THOUSANDS OF $ ON A SOLAR SYSTEM YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED THAT THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY OR WORK!
I installed solar using Elevation Solar. In July of last year, my solar system, which is still under warranty had a faulty gateway which Enphase (manufacturer of solar) confirmed and shipped me a replacement part for Elevation to install. I filed a case (#00440432) and it has been almost 6 months without resolution or a path to resolution. It is certainly not for a lack of trying on my part. I have been following up weekly for the past 6 months and I keep getting the same excuse. That they are working on finding a sub to do the work. I highly doubt that is actually the case. I suspect they are giving me the run around in the hopes I go away. I called again today and just found out that in 6 months they only more than patient and reasonable in waiting 6 months without a properly functioning solar system especially one that is under warranty. They are quick to take your money but if something goes wrong they do not stand behind their work!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!
The activation of my solar system took 4 additional months because Elevation failed to post the proper signage during install (and it happened a second time also). It took that long to get it all corrected and inspection passed. 2 stars. Install was late Nov 2021. Activation was March 2022.
However, a microinverter failed (back in September 2024!). I spent 30 minutes in a call today (Feb '25, mostly on hold). 3 stars. However, they are sending a replacement part 😊. 4-stars! But, I still have to call back to schedule an install after the part arrives. 3-stars.
UPDATE (Feb 21, 2025): I received the part about a week later. I called to schedule the replacement appointment a week ago. I spent several minutes on hold and was sent to voicemail. As has happened in the past, they did not call me back ☹️. 2-stars.
UPDATE (March 13, 2025): Finally was able to get someone to call me back, a manager named Daniel. He informed me that I would have to pay $250 to $300 to have a technician to install the warranty part. Turns out that this policy changed last year and rather than being grandfathered in, I am now expected to foot the bill! I will NEVER do business with this company again. This is absolutely the WORST experience I have had with any solar company.
I have a few suggestions that I think would make customer experiences better. 1. Expedite customer activation. No one likes to be paying for solar and getting nothing for it for months on end. 2. Don't make customers wait on hold. Add a callback mechanism or continue support via text message or chat, etc. (at least add some variety to the hold music!) 3. You have tracking information. You call the customer back to schedule the install (and please prioritize it!) 4. Do whatever it takes (within reason) to make your customers happy.
After the extended install and activation, I could not in good conscience recommend Elevation to my friends. I can only hope that my future experiences will change that perception for the better. Please improve your service.

I have tried for weeks to get a hold of their support. They never answer the phone.
In fact, as I was typing this review they hung up on me while I was on hold.
I've had them 4 years and have had no luck engaging their support. Literally none. Super friendly folks until they have their hooks in you. Once they catch your money, say goodbye to any support.

If I could give a zero review I would. Absolutely WORST company I've ever dealt with. The system has been garbage since we installed and wasted over $20,000 on it. Now it's broken, I have paid over $1,000 for parts that have never been delivered or repaired. Continue to call and email with no response. DISGUSTING to treat customers like this.

I had some questions for the company and called them. A young man (I think he was young), was very helpful. He said if he couldn’t get the answer that day, he would call me the next. He did call me the next day at 10am. He gave me the information I needed about my contract with them.

Excellent customer service! Just want to say that Erick Martinez from Elevation Solar did an excellent job on listening to my concerns today regarding my current solar system issue. Not only did he listened to my concerns, but he offered me different solutions with estimated time to follow-up. Incredible service - just moved to a home with an existing solar contract. Elevation went above and beyond to help me get setup with the apps etc. Daniel was so patient and helpful. On the other hand the lease we took over through Offerpad was painful. Their support is probably one of the worst I’ve encountered - they need people like Daniel.
