I had an amazing experience with Empire Solar! From the very beginning, Nore, the sales rep, was incredibly informative and patient. He took the time to explain the entire process from start to finish and made sure I understood all my financing options. I really appreciated that he didn’t try to push a lease on me like other companies often do. The pricing was extremely competitive – in fact, Empire was $30k cheaper than Trinity Solar, even with their great financing plans.
Throughout the project, I was kept up to date at every step, which was such a relief. Shannon, who was handling the paperwork and inspections, was outstanding. She made sure everything was done on time and was always available to answer any questions I had.
The installation team was also top-notch! They were professional, efficient, and left everything clean and tidy. Additionally, they upgraded my home’s electrical panel from 100 to 200 amps, and the job was done very neatly. I felt totally comfortable having the electrician in my home, which was really important to me.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with my decision to go with Empire Solar. They made the process smooth, affordable, and hassle-free. I highly recommend them to anyone considering solar!

Our experience with Empire has been nothing short of outstanding! When we first starting looking, we found Empire to have the best options for us and they included trenching a power line to our detached garage which had been without power for years. They were diligent about the plan and very transparent about everything (thanks Nore!)
When it came to installation, we had a fantastic crew do the work, true professionals. Shout out to Mike Calo and his crew for digging the trench and Paul the electrician from Empire who laid the line. They went above and beyond to get the work done right, and made sure we were properly taken care of. Everything from the hardware to the fixtures to the cables was top notch and expertly installed. The only downside was that the township and Central Hudson took thier time clearing our inspection and permits, but once we got permission to operate, it was nothing but smooth sailing. We're super happy with the experience and our panels have been working great! Highly recommend!

Very knowledgeable and work with you as needed throughout the process. Respectful team (not pushy) installation quick and professional. Easy to reach customer support and quick answers. Only not positive aspect is that the process is confusing for 1st time users on the financial/permit/installation. A user friendly step by step guide would be very useful.

System goes down for 2months plus yearly because of inverter issues. The technician is always very helpful and kind but the communication from the Empire Solar representative is lack luster. Takes a very long time to solve the problem and unfortunately, it seems most of the office people work remotely and it is not a full-time job. We often receive messages that they will get back to us because they are currently at their other job. Currently we have broken panels or communication issues, we are not generating energy and the last time we heard from our sales representative at Empire Solar was the 21st. It is now the 8th of the next month. We called the office, they could not tell us what the problem is with our solar panels. Again, they will get back to us. Our panels have not been working since the beginning of November, It’s now January.

Pros: they will definitely show up on time for the installation appointment, file for the appropriate permits and the technicians are awesome. After that, you’re on your own and hope that your system doesn’t have any issues.

The experience from my first sales meeting up until today with setting up my account and the solar panels working has been friendly and professional. Our solar consultant Will Wemmer did a awesome job from beginning to end. Staffs at Empire Solar kept us informed each steps of the project. They even cut the trees which were obstructing the sunlight to the roof free of charge.

Empire made installing a new roof and going solar a breeze! From our first phone call, Nore came by the next day to explain the process and give us a quote. We hadn't planned to jump the gun, but right then and there my husband and I locked eyes and said "Lets do this now!" Nore made the paperwork and financing so crystal clear and understandable- before he left that night, we toasted celebration sangria and started the Empire Journey!! Paul, our project manager had us scheduled for a new roof and solar in under a month! The roofers were kind, courteous, and cleaned up beautifully. The worked so ridiculously hard those two days that we were bringing them popsicles and gaterade to keep the heat at bay! Even the front garden, which had gotten a bit squashed with the ladder, was kindly remulched and fixed up for us after thanks to the lovely service rep, Shannon who was adament we should be thrilled with every step of the process. Less than a week after the new roof was finished, the solar guys came and finished our install before noon! I cannot believe that alll this labor and product is SAVING us money!!!! I wish I could say we started this to help Mother Earth out, but truth be told, it has benefitted us financially in the long and short term. The government rebates and incentives covered nearly 50% of the costs and the rest we have in a loan monthly payment of 170$ which replaces our electric bill!
