- 15 stairs carpet and padding
- OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS
- and no need for prep or haul away
I have average size stairs with 15 stairs
- they only needed 3 precut pieces and padding
it is good carpet but not over a hundred dollars a square yard!!!
- never got an itemized statement to my email
- though I was supposed to
- AND did not get a discount
Odd because when the installer was told that I paid for the install on my bill of over a thousand dollars - he kind of grinned and said he would do the other staircase with the same product for FIVE HUNDRED
What is going on here??

We contacted Empire because of the TV marketing. Salesman was very knowledgeable and very profession until he began the closing. We were just starting our fact finding to decide what product we wanted for a floor replacement. Due to a prior commitment I had to leave and told him my wife is the one to be making the choice when the time comes.
so now comes the closing wanting to sign up now, the old "only good for today", calling his supervisor to let him talk. We had already told him it would be at least 30days before we would do anything because the current work going on updating our home and a repair needing to be done in the designated room. We built our own house and we do diligence and discus.
So, when we are ready, Empire will be considered, but not necessarily the front runner.

Bait and Switch. The sample that the Empire sales person showed me was not what the installers showed up with. When I tried to look up the name of the flooring that was on my sales contract, I found out Empire had made up a phony name so that I could not do a price comparison. When I looked up the name on the boxes that were going to be installed I found out Empire had sold me flooring that normally sells for 33% less than what Empire had charged me. Empire scheduled the installation for 3 days after I signed the contract so the cancellation and low price guarantees had expired. Very well planned SCAM. If you purchased anything from Empire and did not see the name of a manufacturer that you can easily trace and verify the price, you have been scammed. Sales persons and installers are all sub-contractors, some good, some bad. Bottom line is the Empire Today company is a very slick con operation that has fooled and robbed many people over the years. Please read Google Empire Today Reviews and you will see that the worst thing you can do is call Empire Today.
