We recently had several windows, including a bay window, and doors replaced by Green Star. After meeting with our sales person Michael Randle, our expectations were quite high. Not only were they met, they were exceeded. The quality of the windows and doors are exceptional.
The team showed up in the morning and worked throughout the day to get everything finished. They even had a carpenter on site to deal with any unforeseen issues. Before they left for the day, we inspected everything together to make sure we were happy with the results.
I would highly recommend Green Star if you’re looking to replace your windows or doors.

I'm sure the product is good and the work is fine. What they need to work on is the salesmanship. Once my salesman found out I wasn't going to hand over a check that day his whole attitude changed. I said you know how this works? People get estimates and then compare and then make a decision. But what convinced me to pass is when he said "I've been called many things but I've never been called back" Bye bye buddy. Also my new rule never set anything up with someone going door to door for sales. If your so good you don't need to do that. Also beware of the old I'm doin one for your neighbor down the street. Never saw a truck 2 weeks later.
Oh and when I asked for an estimate he wrote it on a 2x3 business card! Really

Since this is a bow window I wanted to be confident about capability of the install team and Frank’s professionalism gave me the assurance that I was looking for

Unprofessional, waste of time, pushy and misleading. That’s how I would describe this company. We originally went through BJs home service, and they sent Green Star. Setting up the appointment was odd to start requiring both myself and my wife to be present. Why do you need 2 people at what was essentially a sales pitch rather than an estimate consultation, when only one of us would end up signing the contract. The salesman who came to the house originally was very nice and knowledgeable but a typical salesman. Up selling his product and down talking other products. I have no doubt that he truly believed what he was saying. He offered us multiple financing options which all sounded amazing, he talked about a lifetime warranty and how even if a ball went through the window they would come out and replace it no problem. He pushed for us to sign a contract that day (which went against every gut instinct I have) since there was a discount that he was offering that was only valid for that day and would not apply once he left the property. When we said we wanted to think about it he became pushier and wanted to know more why. When we said we needed time to think about spending $30k on windows (about $2k a window) he said something like "people know what their budget is" and he could wait in his car for few min while we talked it over. We bought it hook-line and sinker. When we got home and read the fine print, the warranty was not all inclusive as promised. The company reviews we all 5 star but the product review from the manufacturer were not, some stating the windows failed or broke in only a few years. We immediately tried reaching out to cancel (as we only had 3 days to do so per the contract). We could not reach anyone on a Saturday, so we signed the 2 forms they had included and emailed them to the company. I got a call that Monday from another pushy representative wanting to know why and when we explained he insisted we needed to sign another document and we scheduled a time for someone to come by expecting it to be a manager with a third cancelation form. This person was just another salesman wanting to know what he could do to change our minds. He did not have any other paperwork for us to sign. We said we didn’t feel comfortable working with the company due to being misled by the previous salesman about the product and warranty, he got nasty and said how those negative reviews were for other products and how we would never find another company to give us a warranty we are looking for (we just wanted honesty and clarity, tell us it’s a 20yr limited warranty that doesn’t include acts of god or kids breaking it with a ball) and stormed out of the house. Would definitely not recommend.

We had our roof and windows done a couple of months ago. The men who put the roof on were very professional, kind, and had the roof on and everything cleaned up by lunchtime.

We had the windows put in a couple weeks later, and those workers were also very kind and professional and quick.

We did have one basement window that wasn't the right measurements. So, Green Star had to get a new one ordered. We did financing through them, so our loan didn't start till the last window was put in. Which was nice.

The reason I'm writing this review is because we had one of our cats break a basement window and then a squirrel bust through one of our screens.

My husband called Green Star and within two days someone was out to fix the window and replace the screen. These fixes were covered under our warranty, so it was at no cost to us. I really appreciate the customer service and the accountability.
