I used Solar Tech to have two Tesla Powerwall batteries installed after another solar company ghosted me. Getting the batteries and working through the SGIP rebate process took some time, but in the end the batteries were installed professionally and I received the SGIP rebate. So, I'm a satisfied customer.

Everything went great. When I did an addition in 2020, they installed 11 SunPower panels and a battery backup. I used them again in 2023 to add 3 additional SunPower panels and replace a roof over my detached garage. For both installations the process was straightforward and smoothly executed. The communications with their management team was excellent and the on-site team lead kept me well informed. After over 4 years of operations there have been no problems, and my annual true up bill is near zero.

My solar panels were installed at the end of March of this year. Ali, Solartech's Sales Manager was great throughout the process. As well as Derik, Project Manager, who was always responsive and addressed my needs even months after the solar panels were installed. In addition, Bree, SolarTech Project Coordinator, was awesome on keeping me informed and always attentive and willing to go the extra distance on getting answers to my questions. I really felt that my best interest was at hand and feel that SolarTech's great staff takes pride in their work and cares for their customers.
I am so excited to have solar panels now and looking forward to being able to charge my electric vehicle by using the power these panels generate. I wish everyone at SolarTech much success and also highly recommend their services.-Ron S.

Once we had our system installed, it’s been nothing but trouble. The lack of communication, responsibility, and honesty is a big problem. Our Solar System wasn’t working properly after we ran some tests and notified Solar Tech. We noticed an issue by going “off grid” for a couple days, though the system never really went off grid. Come to find out, this is an ongoing issue for the Tesla battery owners since a “part is missing”. Apparently, Solar Tech knew about the issue and decided to wait and see if we noticed. Bad business. This is also currently happening to multiple customers. Furthermore, a tech had come out on multiple occasions and tried to use a workaround, which didn’t make things better, rather it has made it worse. No our system is complete off. Good job 👍

I’m a professional and it’s tough to understand how not going above and beyond to respond to us timely, or even at all, and try to resolve an issue, is how Solar Tech has decided to conduct business. Good luck with the rebate promised as well. No answers.
