Quoted me almost $30K for a $7-8K unit. The markup is intense, I can buy a camry for what they charge. So many add-ons and extras. Its 2-3K in labor for a 1 day job anywhere else. But they refuse to split out quotes and show you the numbers. One financing option was 144 months, that's renting your AC for the life of the unit. Seriously think Florida needs HVAC regulations on sales.

We have had this company out three times in 6 days and they cannot fix our unit and it’s less than a year old. To add insult to injury they were supposed to come out today for the forth time but never showed up. We didn’t even receive a call. When I called at 11pm I was told it was rescheduled to the next day between 3-5pm. When I asked who to speak to they told me there was no one available to talked with. Yet they guarantee 24/7 service? Terrible company. Do not do business with them

KEEP AWAY I do not recommend Pro Tech. Since US HAC has been taken over by Pro Tech, expect exorbitant rates. Expect very friendly salesman and technicians, but they use that to try to lure you to trust their high prices. They do not honor USHAC warranties (I had a 10year parts and labor warranty on a 4 year old unit). I bet you’ll need a new water heater.
1. HVAC issue where mold was growing on the sealing between the blower and the attic. Instead of a technician to solve the problem, they sent 2 salesman who tried selling me a UV light (which would do nothing because the light is before the mold growth and would get contaminated when going into the attic), entirely new ducts (after only looking at the first two feet of ducting), a new seal replacement, and a water heater (not kidding) all totaling over $30k. Or a “bargain” $1k for new sealing. They would not honor US HAC 10 year parts and labor warranty. They stopped all communication when I brought it up multiple times.
2. A toilet leak. A technician came out and seemed to diagnose the problem using just his experience. He didn’t want to charge me $700 to remove the toilet and diagnose a problem that he didn’t think existed . He told me how to solve it myself. I trusted his expertise, saved money, and seemed to solve the problem. Until 3 months later, there was a mushroom growing in the corner behind the toilet. The leak was plugged but not fixed. Called him back and he still didn’t want to take the toilet out because he didn’t think there was an issue. I finally convinced him to for a $700 charge (remove, diagnose, reinstall). Found a crack in the toilet immediately after removing. Proceeded to quote me $1400 for a new toilet that they would provide, or $700 if we provided one from Home Depot but that would not have any product or installation warranty. Keep in mind that he already charged us $700 to only remove the old toilet since he never reinstalled it. He said none of that cost would count towards the new toilet being installed, bringing the total quote to $2100 for a new toilet. He also recommended a new water heater. My wife and I picked up a new toilet from Home Depot and installed it ourselves — totaling less than $200. In total, $700 to remove a toilet and $2k for a mold company to come in and get rid of all the mold and mushrooms because he didnt fix it the first time.
I would not recommend Pro Tech to anyone!

The $49 diag fee is very reasonable. Guy came Saturday and was very nice. Told us we needed the electrician and said we'd get a call that day. Day came and went. Followed up on Monday, and the guy seemed surprised we hadn't gotten a call yet and assured us we would. A week later and still no call. Another company came out and fixed same day. We just needed a fuse. They ripped us off but at least we have working AC and aren't waiting for a call that might not ever come. I wanted to like them, but unfortunately I would not call again or recommend.

Wow! what a great job, Osvel Torres the technician was amazing the whole team went beyond my expectations ,They rook their time to explain and walk me through the whole process, I highly recommend the company, thank for a job well done.
Other than Adam the sales person lying to me, you see he had no reason to tell me that I was going to received a $46 refund for the diferencie on the price quoted and the finance charged. A company like this don't need lying sales people

This company is great. We had some work done on our house and when going to bed we noticed the Ac was no longer working. Thinking we would just leave a message for the morning person we called. Within 2 rings and 5 minutes we were setup with an appointment for the next morning. Morning time rolls around and Ray is there in a reasonable time. I explained my issue and he fixed it in 10 minutes! It was a reasonable price. Thanks for being a Ray- of Sunshine on a hot Monday morning.

Jean Gonzalez was professional, courteous and knowledgeable! I requested a replacement faucet for my master bathroom, due to my faucet being older and the water was just dribbling out! He diagnosed that is was the hard water, calcium buildup in the neck and remove and replaced the faucet in a very timely manner! Super technician! Would highly request Jean Gonzalez again!!!!

Started off great! Salesman Adam was good. Anthony the technician was wonderful at installing my new a/c, and very pleasant and friendly. But they did not replace the FPP disconnect as promised. They need to replace a breaker that kept on blowing with the new unit installed and now there is water on top of my water heater. Was promised 24 hr. service from Adam, but the 8 times that I've called I am told someone will get back to me! The a/c is working and cooling the unit, but is not working properly. No one will call me back!
