Window Concepts of Milwaukee

The sale of our windows and gutter started out great. We had the windows installed first and everything went well. We then had our gutters installed, and my husband noticed there was some issue with the installation. With numerous points of contact via email and over the phone, we were told that someone would reach out to us to discuss how to have the issue fixed. It seem to always be the same story. The installer would be reaching out to us, then it was a phone number mixup, then it was a busy time. Now 8 months later we have the same issues and no fix or movement, or communication. Sadly, our daughter spent a decent amount of money to reside her entire house as well poor quality of installation. No follow through when contacted regarding our concerns.

Our new windows are amazing. Heat stays outside, cold inside and quieter. Thanks to the service and installer

Called to get an estimate for siding work. The gentleman I spoke with sent me a calendar invite for 9 AM. No one arrived at 9. At 9:15 I called their office, but no one answered, even though their web site says they open at 9. By 9:50, no one had yet to show and I called again. The person answering the phone said there was no appointment on their calendar. Seeing as we were already off to a bad start, I canceled altogether.

Update: Seth from Window Concepts called, upset at my review. He argued with me saying I scheduled my appointment online, which I did not. I spoke with a man on the phone who, after we spoke, sent me a calendar invite. Seth said that the man told me they could not do our work, which is incorrect. Seth was very rude and I would never do business with this company. Had he approached it from a standpoint of “I don’t know what happened and I’m sorry it did…” I may have removed my bad review. But he was a jerk and tried to tell me I was wrong and they were right.

The people at this Company are honest and fair. The windows are easy to clean. Our house is poorly insulated . I didn't see any change in our heating costs, however now I do not need to put plastic window seals on so it saves me time. As for the product, I had one window which some part broke which caused the window to slide down on its own.

When I called them THEY DIDNT HESITATE!
THEY SENT SOMEONE OUT RIGHT AWAY, (maybe a day or two)
THEY STOOD BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!
For this I'm totally impressed as I've never had any warranty where it has been no hassle totally covered.

Now, I just opened another window and discovered it has the same problem as one of my other windows last year. I'm going to call them, hopefully they will still give me the same awesome service and coverage.

Now, I'm wondering why two out of nine windows have had this part break for no Apparent reason. I'm hoping they have an upgraded replacement part. I'm hoping this isn't going to be a regular thing. I'm confident they will explain to us why this happened now twice to two of the windows which are only a few years old.
This Company and people get 5 stars for everything they do. The product is why I dropped it to 4 stars. I wish I would have purchased a higher quality window.

We absolutely love our new windows!! What a difference it makes to our home....it looks new! From the salesman to the installers, it was a very positive , fun and very affordable situation, and if we ever need more windows....we'll call Window Concepts again

Seth was amazing. The crew did an absolutely fantastic job. More than we could have hoped for. Great communication all the way through. Great follow up and follow through. Answered all our annoying questions. I highly recommend them. I can not say enough great things about our experience.

Window Concepts just finished replacing 14 of our single pane windows from 1958. Every step of the way has been relatively painless in what is typically a burden and cumbersome process that people endure for the eventual benefit of new windows. Aaron was our field rep and was great. He was very respectful of our time and what was going on in our house (when he first came out we had three small children and when he returned to close the sale we had four). All I can say is he understood the assignment and he did not try to pressure us into signing on his first visit. The other two window installation companies we received quotes from had the "sign now" price and the "if we have to come back out" price. Why a business would penalize you for doing business with them did not make sense to me. More importantly the other two companies gave us quotes that were unbelievably high (50-100% more). At the end of the day you are paying for their marketing budgets in the price you pay. As someone who works in marketing this was painfully clear.

On the day of the install everyone showed up on time and after a brief check to make sure all the windows would fit they got to work. In less than two hours they had all the old windows out and the new ones set in place. After lunch they began installing and were able to complete the installation and exterior trim for a lot of the windows. After returning the next day for a couple of hours our 14 windows were installed.

In my mind the true test for Window Concepts came when one of the cranks on an encasement window had a pin come out and refuse to stay in. Not only this but our other encasement window had a scissor mechanism that would lock the window open. I need to be clear, this was a manufacturers defect, none of these issues came about because of poor installation. When I reached out to Window Concepts about the issue their response was "We have someone in the area that could come out this afternoon and fix it if someone is home". They didn't have to do this, they could have easily said "that's a warranty issue" I wouldn't have been happy but I would have understood. A few hours after that call Jerry showed up and fixed all the issues in ten minutes and left us with tips on how to avoid issues in the future and an extra replacement crank just in case we had issues with the pin falling out again.

I don't know how to endorse Window Concepts any more other than to say I would have no issues recommending them to my grandmother who is 86.

Everyone was professional. Communication was good at all phases. Work was done at the time that was promised. Crew worked hard and covered all indoor areas where they walked and worked. Windows and sliding door look nice.

Our home is almost 100 years old and windows from the 80's so we replaced them all. Price was right, sales guy was awesome. We are most likely going with them for siding when we do our next big project. FAST, clean installation!

This company is the best out here are guaranteed. They take the time to explain everything to you.
They have a good crew no are great crew.
I was very satisfied with what they did for me.
I would recommend this company to anyone.
You won't be disappointed.
