Review update: The company responded telling me to contact them If I needed clarity. I concisely laid out what their scam of a lifetime warranty is. Of course, they didn’t provide a contact number or person and they are clearly going through the process of replying to reviews without a legitimate response.
I hope future customers will steer clear of a company that takes advantage of Customers and potential future customers

They supposedly offer a lifetime Transferable warranty warranty.
However, in the fine print, the warranty transfer to the new owner it needs to be done within a 90 days. If it is not done Between 90 days and 365 days they charge 10% of the cost of the roof. Moreover, if If the warranty transfer is not done within the one year timeframe, the warranty is voided.
In my case, The warranty transfer would have cost me $6500 because I was unaware that this needs to be done within a certain timeframe. This obviously is a money grab and another way to take advantage of unsuspecting consumers.
The customer service representative I spoke to said that it was up to the seller to inform the buyer of the transfer process.
Unfortunately, in nearly all cases, the seller is not going to inform the buyer of the process simply because sellers have too much on their plate when selling a house and the last thing on their mind is telling the new owner about a warranty transfer process.
Nonetheless, the reason I called Hansen’s about the warranty is because I found out there was very poor workmanship that needed to be repaired.
So, all in all, I would steer clear from this company because of their poor workmanship, the loophole in the warranty process, and how they take advantage of their customers.
I would not recommend them nor would I ever use them for my home improvement needs.

Product sat in driveway for almost 2 weeks! No dumpster and they left work off siding on neighbors property. First day 3 hours tops. Left ladders all over backyard! Including big nails for our dog to step on! The sales pitch is definitely a good one! I was fooled. I have yet received a email back from the salesperson Nova after oil was leaked all over my driveway and pictures sent. Still nothing. Personally I would not listen to anything any of the sales people say! Its all lies! KEEPS GETTING BETTER! DRYER VENT IS COVERED WHOLE BASEMENT FILLED WITH STEAM. 14 HOURS OF WORK SINCE MAY 8TH! HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND CAN'T USE DRYER!

Salesman Jeff is unprofessional and a liar. During the estimate he was very arrogant. When he went over all the products he was knowledgeable but not. He had horrible photo renderings that he showed us, basically black and white that didn’t show the true look. Then during the cost overview he basically threatened us and said “These prices are today only. You’ll never get this opportunity again.” We felt very rushed and pressured. He even answered a phone call from his mother during the visit.
Even after all that, out of desperation and the price being right, we agreed. He said a shower install would take one, maybe two days. It was three considering we had to wait 24-hours for all the caulk to cure. Then we experienced a leak during the first use and I noticed a small Knick on our tub ledge (photo attached). I had to call customer service and basically beg them to come out the next day (they tried to make me wait (“we don’t have availability until next week.”). Our contractor came out the next morning, found and stopped the leak, and patched the hole the area the water damaged in my kitchen ceiling. The knick was ignored.
During our install I asked about the shelves we ordered. Our contractor said shelves weren’t on the work order so I got in touch with Jeff. When I began asking about the shelves, he became verbally abusive. He chose to yell, argue, talk over, and gaslight me when I brought it to his attention. When I told him he needed to speak to me calmly and respectfully and not to gaslight me, he hung up on me.
I’ll give our contractor Brett all the credit, he did an amazing job, he’s done everything in his power to fix the issues and be there for us. We love our new shower, but I don’t love the way we’ve been treated.
I know I ordered shelves for our shower, Jeff failed to put them on the work order then blame me and accuse me of trying to get free products we didn’t pay for. The shelves were a selling point! He tried to tell me I never took pics of the shelves?! “You didn’t take any pictures of shelves. I don’t have shelf or niche photos in my iPad.” No, you had them in your binder! Here they are (attached to the review)!! And how about a thank you for when I saved your skin bcuz you had our tub drain direction wrong! You had it as right side, when it’s a left, and had I ignored that little detail you would’ve been to blame for the wrong part being ordered, which would have pushed our install back!
I immediately contacted customer service about my extremely unpleasant and inexcusable experience this morning and for the second time there was no manager available, so the rep (who was very nice and patient) “took notes”, apologized and said they’ll call me back.
I don’t expect these issues to be resolved. Personally, I have 20+ years of sales experience and I’m a product reviewer, so this is my life. I am disappointed to say the least. People won’t always remember what you did for them, but they’ll always remember how you made them feel. I feel cheated.

Update: I reached out to Hansons’ customer service team to request a redirection of one of the downspouts. They responded quickly and sent a crew out promptly. Not only did they take care of that adjustment, but they also made a few additional changes I requested.
I really appreciate the responsive customer service and the professionalism of the two technicians who came out. They took the time to make sure everything was done right, and I’m truly grateful for their effort and attention to detail. Thank you!

I recently had 1-800-HANSONS out to quote and install new gutters on a rental property I own. The sales rep was great—friendly, knowledgeable, and low-pressure. I also appreciated how quickly they were able to get the crew scheduled to complete the job.
That said, the communication and scheduling process could have been much better. The crew was originally scheduled to come out on a Monday but never showed. Strangely, I received texts and follow-up calls asking how I liked the new gutters—even though the work hadn’t been done. I had to call and clarify, and the appointment was rescheduled for Thursday. Then, unexpectedly, I got a text on Tuesday saying they’d be out later that afternoon, but they actually arrived around noon. I wasn’t home and wasn’t able to be there to discuss or observe the work, or raise any concerns during the process.
When I got home, the crew was finishing up and there was no walk-through or opportunity to review the work together. There are a few things I would’ve liked to be done differently—mainly the location and direction of some of the downspouts—but since the work was already completed, there wasn’t really any chance to make adjustments.
Overall, the work is satisfactory, but given the price, I expected a smoother experience and more opportunity for input during installation.

I have been trying to get Hanson's to properly fix my roof for the better part of six months. The initial installation came and went and our roof was left with dry rot, water damage, and completely broken boards remaining. I have since called Hanson's out to honor the lifetime warranty three additional times to inspect/repair and yet the damaged and rotted sections remain. This issue has completely halted renovations and cost a large amount of money in addition to Hanson's initial labor and material cost due to the stall. Not even a partial refund has been offered or asked for but that will soon change due to the immense amount of stress these interactions have caused. Photos attached

Beware of this company. Scam artist. They will not honor they're word even when you have proof. The sales man gave me a quote for windows and agreed to come back for me to sign and move forward. The sales rep then had personal medical issue had to take time off after trying to reach him multiple times. Finally brought in a new sales guy basically doubled my price I agreed with the first sales men. Saying I can not honor his quote after showing him in text messages from their sales rep # of windows and cost. Communication internal in this company is horrible. I called multiple times and they take forever to call you back. The reps and the customer service. Him going on leave should not be my issue. Even with proof of the quote with there sales rep who is now back and admitted gave me that price they still will not keep there word. I even said lets talk with the rep at the same time and they All they do is lie about there promotions then double there price and say half off which is BS. Talking to many people this is the Hanson way of doing business. I recommend anyone looking for Window or other services from Hansons stay far away from them. They will just lie to get you to sign something then ignore you.

For background, we had looked at other companies to redo the shower only of my son's townhome. One of the things that we disliked was that these companies had photos of their renovations and products they sell, but none had the actual product. 1-800-Hansons actually had the shower materials to choose from so we could visualize and touch the surface of it. Some people can make decisions off of photos, we cannot as it was too expensive of a decision for us to rely on photos. The rep for Hansons (Mike Kaechele) made it easy for us to make decisions and worked within the budget we had for ourselves when he visited our son's townhome and took measurements. We were pleased with the options Mike gave us. We didn't feel pressured to choose one option over another. One of the things that stood out to us was that Mike gave us a quote and stood by that quote regardless of what was uncovered upon demolition of the shower -- which as anyone who has renovated a home could mean anything! -- so that meant a lot to us as we didn't know what was hidden behind the walls of the shower either. We also enjoyed the fact that Hansons offered a lifetime warranty to return with any issues we might have had (not that we wanted any, of course).
On the day of installation, have to give some amazing props to the contractor (Josh) who was amazingly professional, respectful and courteous. Josh ensured that my son's new carpet was appropriately covered before they brought in or demolished anything. Let me tell you, I was tired after seeing how efficiently and swiftly Josh and his assistant moved! On the first day, the demolition was complete, and they had started the modifications that needed to be done before setting in the new shower. Things that we needed modified were raising the shower head and controls. On the second day, Josh started install of the new shower space. Again, Josh worked efficiently and by day's end, the shower was complete (just had to wait 24 hours for things to dry). We were so excited at the new shower that I totally forgot to take photos of the completed shower (so I will add those later). It was such a transformation. Our son now has double the space he had with the new renovations, and it looks absolutely stunning. Thank you, Hansons but specifically to Mike and that amazing young man, Josh. Josh is top notch, and I would recommend him to anyone (even the neighbors were asking). Again, apologize for not having a photo of the completed project but we were simply relishing in the beauty and transformation of the space.
Edit: Just added a photo of the completed project that Josh completed in a timely and professional manner (don't mind that nasty linoleum because that is going in due time). One additional detail that we specifically needed was a shower door that was extra tall. Again, Hansons came through for us. Cannot stress enough what a difference this update makes. My son's shower space has nearly doubled. Love the floor to ceiling shower walls as well.

First off Hanson doesn’t do their own work. They contract out different people for every job. Secondly they send people to my home that didn’t speak any English. When I got to my house, it’s was a bunch of guys standing on my roof and the roof of my carport. Which they didn’t need to be up there, because they were doing gutters and leave guards. I asked them why were they even up there, no one could answer me, because no one spoke English. Then they had all of the old gutters stacked on my lawn, where they had a couple of drag marks from putting it on my lawn. I asked them to remove it, but again no one spoke English. After the job was done, the next day I got a chance to look at the work because I work midnights and didn’t wake up in time to show it before it got dark that day. My carport was lending and started to come apart from the house. I took pictures before the job and inserted them on an app they ask me to send them to called Hover and there wasn’t any damages. Now they are trying to say it was there already. Please never do business with Hanson. I was warned before hand, but tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. The worst decision I’ve ever made.. Before and after pictures..
