My experience was fantastic! It was with a computer but I do prefer an individual. What you can do better is to have an individual take the request instead of a computer. The company assigned was outstanding and very professional.

You sent a guy to my house to look at my fridge. He said it needed to be replaced. A week later another guy brought over a mini 4.4 which I sent back, he said I needed a 19 cu ft. That was 5 days ago. Talked to two people and both said they would call the next day, which of course they didn't. Try going 2 weeks 'WITHOUT' a refridgerater!!!!! I've been with AHS for 15 yrs and can't believe this.........John Bruce

Companies like AHS can go after you when it comes to making payments but have an issue with providing adequate, professional and qualified contractors. We have a plumbing issue and on the 3rd contractor because the other 2 contractors were non responsive.
Once I asked for a reimbursement of the service fee, I am told that it has to be escalated. Here is what occurred: the contractor was non-responsive to me until AHS called early am on the 2nd day. They told the AHS Rep to tell us a specific time on the same day in which we informed the AHS Rep no to cancel the appointment and ask the contractor to call us for an appointment. The contractor showed up anyway at the time they appointed with AHS we were notified via text that they were on their way. We called AHS right away and said no. AHS reiterated that they placed a note in the contractor’s email about the cancellation and to reschedule. So since the contractor showed up on a cancelled appointment, they noted to AHS showed up but customer not available. Hence escalating the refund request. Games being played on both sides.
How is it that AHS only have two contractors within their network to provide plumbing services for the area? They go up on their premiums and per service costs every year. I am told by some of the contractors that the pay in providing the services is low and normally they contract with those that are starting their businesses, hence not qualified enough for the services, could be the reason why there are so many complaints about receiving inadequate services and non-responses maybe they don’t know how or can’t provide what’s needed, which is not the customer’s problem.
It is unbelievable that we may have to pay for these services out of pocket ourselves but it’s been over a week and plumbing issues are nothing to sneeze at. We are planning on not renewing our services once it become due and either build a community of other service providers or seek another home warranty service company.

Terrible. Tried to cancel my warranty and it took 30 minutes of BS. Never use this home warranty program. Worthless. Pull every trick and question in the book to try to not allow you to cancel. Bunch of reps in the Philippines and you can't understand them. Avoid AHS!!!!

AC he’ll !!!!Been with AHS 20 years. Never this bad. Open door kept emailing me with complete replacement estimates but I could never get the two departments to communicate to get a price. Service from AHS( not the provider) is so bad and unreliable that I will not be renewing. 2 weeks to replace a simple part. ( i would have replaced the system if the authorization person updated the system but they never did). Portal showed “ cancelled service “ for 2 weeks. I had to request updates daily as cs agents kept apologizing for having NO ACTUAL power to fix things. Kept escalating for errors.
Escalation dept kept getting wrong info and calling me with wrong info.
