Bath Fitter

In my opinion, stay away from Tatiana Velez the person at the company who sets up installations. She should not be in customer service and has made my dealings with Bath Fitter rather unpleasant. I have contacted her manager Jay Serrano and got the we will look into it as a possible training exercise.

My salesman James Thompson has been great and has done what he could to help me, but he should not have to if Tatiana did her job.

** Beware anyone considering Bath Fitter, Burnaby BC **

After entering into a contract with this company, I attempted to cancel and request the return of my $2,000 deposit. Under BC’s Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, consumers have the right to cancel within one year if key information is missing from a contract, or within 10 days of receiving a copy of the contract if it was not provided at signing. Both apply in my case. I did not receive a copy of the contract until the day I attempted to cancel!

Had I been made aware of Bath Fitter’s refund and cancellation policy at the time of signing, I likely would not have provided a deposit at all. Their failure to disclose this information not only denied me the opportunity to make an informed decision but also directly contravenes consumer protection standards in BC.

Despite this, Bath Fitter has refused to return my deposit. The manager of the local branch has never contacted me directly, instead delegating all communication to administrative coordinators, which I find unacceptable given the seriousness of the situation.

I have since escalated this to Bath Fitter’s head office and filed a formal complaint with Consumer Protection BC. Additionally, I have raised concerns about the validity of the contract itself, as both signatures on the document appear identical. I also never released my initials or provided permission to use them, yet they appear on the contract.

My experience with Bath Fitter has been dismissive, unprofessional and in clear disregard of consumer rights under BC law. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before signing any agreement with this company.

Nice product, but the bottom of the bath unglued itself about 2 years from installation! Contacted the company but no solution offered. Very dissapointed.

The entire experience went according to plan. Brandon came out and we discussed the plan for the bathroom, he was knowledgeable and made sure I made the right choices for this small bathroom. Once the product arrived, Martin came out to do the install. He did a great job and left the bathroom spotless. 4 weeks later, the glass shower door was installed. I love the end product.

Guillermo and Nick did an awesome job. They were very conscientious about keeping our home from any debris and were very clean about everything. The finished product is beautiful and superb quality. Needless to say we are extremely pleased. I have to mention that Lance was a very professional salesman as well. You have our gratitude for the employees that represent your business.

Our installer Blake was a pleasure. Super nice guy, and he did a phenomenal job. We did a tub to shower conversion, and our ceiling was a little too high for the ceiling panel, and he walked us through the options and gave his best advice and it turned out beautifully. I would also like to mention our sales guy Tyson and over the phone Marty, for tremendous service and friendliness. It’s obvious that the people here really enjoy what they do, which in a lot of cases like my own, is genuinely helping people. The whole process was super easy, no high pressure sales, which will always make me run the other way. The results are spectacular, and I learned a lot throughout. I highly recommend using Bathfitter if you’re in the market. We will be doing our other bathroom as well as soon as I can afford it! Thanks to this wonderful company! Before and after photos below.

I’m very happy with the bath fitting work done. Tech was professional, punctual, and paid great attention to detail. Everything was installed neatly and works perfectly. He kept the area clean and made sure I was satisfied before finishing up. Excellent workmanship and service. I would definitely recommend them! 5-Stars!

I had Bath Fitter replace tub surrounds in two bathrooms. Not only was the finished product done professionally and of high-quality workmanship but the team was great to work with all along the way. From the sales rep (Jeff) helping me understand the process and options, to the schedulers (Cayla and Karma) who communicated well throughout the process, and the installers (Brayden and Tory) and plumber (Nick) who did top-notch work installing new valves and fixtures as well as the new surrounds. I was especially impressed with how well the surrounds fit in their space and how well Brayden and Tory did in sealing the edges. They were punctual and all the work was done in one day. We're very pleased and I've happily started recommending Bath Fitter of Utah to my friends.

The lady in the office in Livonia, ( Kim ) was terrific. The consultation with Ron and the workers ( Paul and Hunter ) were really great. The shower they installed and craftsmanship were the best I have ever seen and I have been in construction my whole carer. Thanks again for being so professional, both in the field and office. Guillermo did such a great job on my bathroom! He kept the dust and mess to a minimum. The install looks amazing! I thought for sure it would take at least 4 days to get everything done. He was in and out in 2. I’m very happy with his work.
