I had one of the worst customer service experiences with California Deluxe at a recent fair.
When I first stopped by their booth (three hours before closing), it was empty. I asked nearby vendors about the vendors whereabouts and they informed me that the representative often abandons the booth for hours at a time or doesn’t show up at all.
I circled back several times before finally seeing a young Latino man there, later learning his name was Carlos. When I spoke with him he was completely disengaged, more focused on spending time with a woman who appeared to be his girlfriend that was there in the booth along with him. Rather than speaking to a potential customer. No greeting, no name introduction, and absolutely no effort to make a sale.
After expressing my concerns, Carlos promised to help me find the right products. He took my number and assured me he’d follow up. That never happened. Despite multiple calls, he never answered or returned my messages (I’ll include call logs in this review).
As a real estate developer with multiple properties, I was ready to spend money not just on one home, but future projects too. This company not only wasted my time but also was very unprofessional.
I will never use this company and strongly suggest you look elsewhere!

We have had our CDW windows for 17 years and one of our windows had a mechanism failure. Two service men came out ahead of their scheduled time and not only did they fix the mechanism failure of that window, but also answered some questions and fixed an issue we had with 2 other windows, which was not part of the scheduled service report, they were just willing to help. Service appointment was great and the men were very friendly and helpful. They also honored our lifetime warranty.
Now I must add that it did take 3 weeks from the time I reported the problem to the time the repair was made.

Terrible customer service. Waited two weeks for an in warranty repair, then waited two hours and they never showed. Over a week has gone by, no call to r/s. I left a message for Dennis (manager) but never heard back. Something to consider if you ever have an issue.

I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience so others can avoid what I went through.
From the start, the company failed to clearly explain how the 6-foot sliding door would be installed. The salesman, Ray, assured me that the existing stucco between the side picture windows would remain untouched and that replacing the side picture windows wasn’t necessary. I even received a quote for a full 136-inch sliding unit but chose not to proceed with it based on his recommendation.
I never met Ray in person—everything was handled over the phone.
To my disappointment, the install was bulky and unattractive. A large flange covered the existing stucco—contrary to what Ray had promised. The bottom track was also raised by two inches compared to the original, making it look awkward and out of place, especially in this custom home . The overall result felt rushed and poorly executed.
When I contacted Ray about the issue, his only suggestion was to purchase additional windows to make the area look uniform—something he failed to mention at the start. I’ve now been forced to replace all three windows, losing over $3,700 in the process. The slider they sold me is unusable and will likely have to be discarded.

Three of the nicest most professional men just left after installing all new windows in our home! I am so incredibly happy! 6 1/2 hours and 9 windows later! I am extremely grateful! Thanks again 🤗 And for the most part, they left my property clean and put back together! A couple little things not worth mentioning, but everything is beautiful.
I should also mention that Danny was incredibly professional the first time he came out to talk to me and look at my windows and explain the choices I had, when he left all of my questions were answered, and I knew then this was the company I was going to go with, they were my 4th company that I had talked to, and received an estimate from, they were not the cheapest, and not the most expensive either, no regrets from this satisfied customer 🤗

Thank you, CDW for telling me everything I needed to know about your company in a span of one hour.
I'm replacing all of the windows in my Los Angeles home , and my sister is building a new home in Santa Monica. So we're in the market for windows. My general feeling about vinyl windows is that they're cheap and are mostly for people on a budget, but I decided that perhaps I was being hasty and it was worth a trip to the showroom to see for myself before I jump to any conclusions.
Online their hours of their Chatsworth showroom are until 5 PM. I made the long drive there and arrived at 4:30 with plenty of time to look around the showroom before they closed. As I drove up, I thought that there must be a mistake. The location that I drove to looked abandoned. The parking lot was dirty, and there was garbage strewn about and not a single car in sight. Nowhere on any of the windows or doors which were heavily tinted with cheap Reflective material, did it say anything about the showroom hours or whether they were open or not. Sure enough, the doors were locked.
I figured I must be at the warehouse and the showroom must be close to here in a different location, but I just got the wrong address. So I called them up and the customer service person who answered the phone did not know what the word "showroom"
meant. Beyond that, she couldn't tell me where the showroom was once I explained to her what a showroom was. I asked her if she could put me on hold and ask someone, assuming that it must be her first day. She said that she was unable to do that but that if she if I gave her my name and email address, someone would respond to me within two days. Two days??? I'm in the bloody parking lot!
So I hang up and call the toll-free number. Well, this goblin who answered the phone, I can only assume must be in like Lithuania or something, knew even less about the business than the first person did. The only thing she knew to say was that if I gave my name and email address someone would get back to me within two days.
I don't know you can run a business like this. How can your customer service be so woefully inadequate? How is it that your staff are so poorly trained and know so little about the business? And why, when your hours are until five, is your showroom locked and closed before that time?
Needless to say I won't be back.
And by the way, you can always tell how much a business cares by the way they handle their reviews. Take notice that not one single review is replied to.
Don't be fooled by their flashy website! This place is ratchet.

Daniel and Hector the installers for my windows and doors were great. They showed up on time, worked neatly and installed each windows and doors with care. They cleaned up everything and hailed away my old windows and doors. After the installation was done, everything was spotless. I would highly recommend Daniel and Hector for a job well done. Let me first begin by apologizing to CD Windows. I should have posted this review ages ago. That being in said in a way having the windows installed and having experienced their quality these past few months, I cannot be more happy with their windows. Price wise they cannot be beat for the amazing quality. They were done quickly and effectively. Living with older windows, cold, heat and sounds went through those windows like tissue paper. Now, with CD windows I don't have to worry hardly as much as those. My rooms are much more quite, cold and heat going through has decreased significant amount. I will recommend anyone who asks to get CD Windows. Long story short, CD Windows and staff are great! I will gladly use their services in the future.
