Had my large pane window in my front room was cracked. The weather was starting to get cold so they wanted to get it replaced. They came over......got my cracked window out and replaced the new one. They worked on a timely manner and replaced and cleaned up. It was a good experience and would highly recommend them

The salesmen were thorough with explaining to us what was to be completed with our roofing. They also noticed our steps leading to the porch was broken up, Dewitt put in new steps to our porch. We mentioned with the roofing job that our gutter on the side of the house was cracked from the installation of the roof, Dwitt sent someone out the next day to replace it.
The only thing is that we wished they used a magnetic machine to pickup all nails. We found a few nails and staples in the driveway.

At first, impressed. Then after delay after delay after delay to get siding installation date and actual installation, I cancelled down payment. That got their attention (shame it had to come to that) and work crew was assigned (over a month after original promised install date). The work crew with which DeWitt contracted was great; we are very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work and their professionalism. But making final payment was a mess. Haranguing over payments to them vs contractor crew was time consuming and frustrating. I felt bad for the contract crew. With so many other options, I personally would NEVER go with DeWitt.

The contractors were very polite and very friendly. They were about their business and they made sure to walk me through the process of what they were doing and showed me the major issues of my roof before installing the new roof. They took time to make sure that they cleaned up behind themselves and left me a very satisfied customer. I love their work and I will recommend their services to anyone else that is looking for work or repairs to their home.

I'm sharing my experience in hopes it will help someone in their decision making when considering this company for a job.
Me and my wife was looking to have our roof replaced this year and after getting a few estimates the price was pretty much the same. By me being a small business owner and wanting to support the smaller company we decided to go with DeWitt. My salesman Vincen seemed to be knowledgeable and firm in his beliefs that the would stand by their product and workmanship.
I was told that I would receive a heads up on the start date so I could make myself available to be there. That never happened! One day my doorbell rings and it's the guys ready to drop the materials when no one is at home. Fine!
I call to find out when was the guys planning on starting the roof. I was told possibly tomorrow, but not sure because it may rain. 🤔 Well, I can't just disappear on my customers with that information. Long story short I was not able to be there while when they did my roof.
When I got home that evening majority of the work was done. I was impressed! From the ground it looked good. I was told all my end boards had to be replaced because they were rotten from water damage. Ok cool!
Fast forward three months later. Me and wife are about to go to bed and we hear a loud boom. As we trace the sound It also sounds like something is moving in our attic. When I look out the window where the noise was coming from I see an hanging soffit panel with a raccoon hanging out. We were able to get the raccoon out. The next day I get up on the roof to locate where the raccoon came in at and I see this....
They cut my dripedge around my hanging bracket, and also never attempted to Sister stud the rafter tails to secure strength when laying that sheet of plywood down. If the end board had water damage then surely the rafter tails had some type of damage also.
My soffit and fascia has detached from the rafter tails which ended up leaving that opening where anything can get in my attic.
Call DeWitt for two weeks straight. One of the guys came out and agreed with me. Said he would let the owner know and get back with me to schedule something. Called again then was told I'd have to talk with the owner Alex. Called him and he told me to send some pictures. Did that, and that point he never answered another call from me. Completely avoided and ignored me.
Needless to say I am on my own and DeWitt do no stand by their warranty claims.
Would I recommend them? No, only because I'm a firm believer in standing by your work and be honorable. I hope this story helps someone in their decision........

The windows and French Doors are perfect ! The deck was designed to enhance are French doors. JB was wonderful, Helpful and had great ideas to make are deck ours . JB and his workers are tireless, The hard work definitely paid off .

Dewitt Building & Construction did absolutely awesome work on our home and driveway. From the salesman Jay to the workers who came out to do the work, everyone was punctual and professional. Everything was done within the time they said it would be finished and each crew cleaned up before leaving. I highly recommend this company.

I will definitely use DeWitt again for future projects. Everything went smoothly with the installation of my garage roof. Great prices, I would have liked better preparation communication as far as when things were happening but they happened with no extra headache. All of the workers were great and respectful from the salesman to installers to the follow-up with the office.

I Love my new roof. The roofers came and got the job done in 1DAY. They were very friendly and respectful. Cleanup was perfect. All things were correctly put back in place. Jeff the salesman was very informative and funny. He informed me that the job wouldn't take long, and it didn't. Yes, I would recommend Dewitt Building and Construction.

The person who answered the phone was very rude and interrupted me in the middle of trying to explain my situation, and also swore on the phone about how the situation at hand was not their issue to deal with, and we needed to figure it out ourselves. This could have been explained in a much nicer and more professional manner, especially when dealing with an outside client who has had no business with you to begin with, and has no idea about your business or it’s past affiliations. If this is how they treat their everyday customers, I would not utilize this company.
