We had our solar panels installed two months ago and our electric bill used to be 380 to 400. My bill this month was $86. They also installed foam in my attic which has kept my air conditioning running less and less every day. this is a beautiful company, very professional. Hayden is one of the people I’ve been speaking with very to the point. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing solar panels and or foam installation. Thank you so much for everything. And the company is a great company. Don’t hesitate. Call Them Thank you Hayden and His team for making this a great experience

Efficient Home Services did not conduct a physical site inspection prior to selling me a rooftop solar system or advise me about the pitfalls of solar panels on my roof. Because they did not visit my home prior to installation they did not see the entire area surrounding my home is a wooded area with a lot of wildlife making the site unsuitable for solar installation unless a critter guard was installed to prevent the rodents from chewing the wires. Nor was I informed that installing a critter guard may or may not work and could require expensive ongoing repairs in the future, as well as quarterly inspections to avoid additional system failure. Therefore deeming my home a site that was not suitable for rooftop solar panels. The rodent problem is a well known issue in the solar industry and should be disclosed to consumers. This is a subpar standard in Florida. All solar companies should be required to do a physical inspection of the site, not a virtual one. I feel EHS was negligent in their assessment of the site when they could see all the trees surrounding the site even with the limited virtual site tour they did. For $46K the consumer has a right to expect more. My system has only been online for approximately 18 months with several calls for service regarding the tripping of the breaker, they advised to just reset it instead of looking for the underlying problem, which could have caused a fire with the wiring chewed through by rodents. Now they sent me a vague estimate of over $2,000 to rewire the system and install the critter guard that should have been installed originally. And was dismissive when I asked what brand and quality of the critter guard they proposed to install, stating it could be more if they used a different brand. EHS offers limited customer service and unreasonable wait times for service on a product of this value. If they properly disclosed the pitfalls of my site, I never would have installed the system. Update- October 2024. Still waiting for service department to rewire my system. My system has been down going on two months. Paying for FPL bill AND solar loan. Update- with less than 12 hours notice EHS came to install my critter guard and rewire my system. #Shameful I included photos of what it is supposed to look like and what EHS did. They installed by nailing the screen directly to my roof and covering in places with globs of white something- caulking? Not with clips as manufacturers recommend. Gaps , piece meal, 50% completed, sloppy unacceptable job. Could be roof damage? I am so disgusted. EHS billed me for rewiring my system and sent a notice the job was complete but only patched it and the system was down again in 2 days. Going solar should not be a nightmare. We need reforms and regulations.

I would NOT RECOMMEND this company. customer services is not good.
They promise everything and you get nothing.
They told me they would let me know when they were going to show up to install panels they stop at my house. They gave me a time frame like you would get from spectrum. After a job on the Coast on there was back to the company .is when they showed up. I wanted to be home and they came at dusk to put the panels on my house. They put the panels up in the dark.
The panels we're bigger than the ones that were on my house and they did not notify me about that.
Got up next morning and saw them I was not happy.
They could have switched them with two from the back of the house so it would not be so noticeable. But not that smart. And when I mentioned it to them.
Got nothing no feedback.
The whole experience left me a bad taste. The over all experience was so bad I told them to come get the panels, but I wanted to be home when the came to do that they said they would let me know. And they did not. They came when I was at work took the panels.
I went with a different company.
Look at other companies you won't regret it.

EHS installed a system for me in 2017. For a couple of years things were fine. I have had several issues which the company took care of but it took time and many followups. The staff there was really on a revolving door kind of thing. Never the same people. A little over a year ago I had to have a roof replaced. EHS sent a couple of nice young guys out and they removed and stacked the panels neatly. But AFTER, I don't know if the next team was employees or subcontractors but they did a terrible job of reinstalling the panels and reconnecting the system. Wires were hanging down and the panelscwere misaligned and all of this is done on a new roof. I contacted EHS and they did send a new crew out but they didn't do much. They can' just rip off the panels and start over again. And now, my system has issues and not performing up to its expectation. I have contacted them and tried to get them out but again scheduling service is a very difficult thing to do. I would not recommend this company for solar. Knowing what I know now, I would say buyer beware.
2nd Review:
Efficient Home Services contacted me about my first review and wanted to make it right. I'm not going to mention any names here but these are people running the company. So I was contacted about trying to get me to change my review. I stated at the time that I would if they would make things right. So the agent came out and diagnosed the problem and said I had a bad panel and was going to schedule a team to come out and replace it. Which they did. The repair team was at my house for about an half an hour and then left. I was told they would clean up any loose cables and to clean my panels. This they did not do. I spoke to COO and he said they didn't do those things because they just don't do that stuff. Let's go back in time. 2 years ago I had to have a new roof put on because a large tree fell on my house. Efficient said they would remove the panels and put them back on but I had to pay upfront of about $9000 dollars. I paid them because quiet honestly in the solar business it is a monopoly. The company that does the install is the same company that does the repairs. Who knew? They came and took my panels off and once the new roof was put back on Efficient came back and reinstalled the panels. A note here is I thought in my contract I had one time removal and reinstall for a roof. Efficient don't keep very good records of your contract so don't rely on a contract with them. The reinstall was such a thrown together job: wires loose and hanging out and panels not Secure. The job was done so poorly that another solar company installers pointed out how terrible a job it was. I have pictures of the wires hanging out from underneath and panels not fully attached. On to the panel replacement. About 3 weeks ago, the repair team came out and replaced the panel that was not working. All was good to my knowledge at the time. My system was performing well and no new alerts about panel deviations. Then Hurricane Milton came through. The new replacement panel came loose and was flying around my roof, banging against stuff. My wife and I thought we were loosing our roof but we weren't. It was this panel flying around banging against things. It settle on a brand new AC unit that I had just replaced and created a hole in the edge of my roof. My newly replaced roof. Now when I contacted the COO he acknowledges no responsibilities. Says to contact my insurance company which I did. The photos that I share here are just a few providing evidence of the shoddy workmanship this company provides. You may give this company 5 stars initially (I would've too) but wait until you need service then your opinion will change.

Company is so horrible. First, they took so long before actually getting my jobs started that my original contract and loan fell through. They tried to convince me it was my fault and that they were my only choice at solar. After fighting with them I got comped for the hits on my credit score. Next, they didn't call the final in for the roof so I had to do it. They never commissioned the solar system after install, just left it and never came back. I had to commission it myself. Then I stepped on a roofing nail, of which the response I got from the company was, 'no problem we will get you our insurance and take care of you.' very next call the next day after not getting anything went like this 'you could be trying to scam us, you sound fishy like you're trying to get something, if it was me I'd be in the hospital getting stitches doesn't sound legit to me.' and was received very rudely and treated like a criminal. If you are reading this, please for your own sake go with a different company. If higher ups at EHS are reading, you should all be ashamed. Efficient home services doesn't even hold their own license. Their license holder owns another company who doesn't even deal with EHS at all

This company can be trusted. Josh Gentile my salesman came out with a no bs attitude. He didn’t try to sell me on a “leasing” plan like the other companies are all doing. Josh showed me the financing numbers and easily explained what the payment plans would be. I found that with the other companies that I’d pay over 50k before I finally owned the equipment. Not with EHS!! Another bonus, when it’s time for me to replace my roof they will take off and reinstall my panels at no extra cost saving me more money down the line.

Worst customer service ever. Since our install. It’s been a nightmare. Our system has never worked right and when we call to schedule service our calls are screened. Once we provide our address the attitude from the person on the phone changes and we get placed on hold and told “someone will call us to schedule service.” Wait three days never hear back, I have to call again and now that same person can schedule a tech to come out. But it’s 3 weeks out when Alex (tech) said he’s in Lehigh every week Tuesday and Thursdays. Sean (used to be a tech) used to be good. Once his position changed he became just as useless as the rest. The owner Shawn is rude as hell. So you can see the culture he creates. They have such huge turn over it’s hard to keep track. My system as I write this is down again for the second time in 2 months! Don’t use them. Do your research! My system is down more than it’s up!

Great Team. I was on the fence about Solar for a while and am one to ask a ton of questions. Nick, Sales Rep, was exceptional in answering all my questions and walking me through the process. He went above and beyond to check in on me and see if I had any further questions that needed to be answered. The installation team was extremely professional and efficient. They were able to install my entire system in just a few hours, and the quality of work was immaculate. Brian then came to set up the system and show me how to monitor the system. He was also great and ensured that any questions I had were answered. Overall every team member was very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend that anyone interested in Solar to use EHS.
