And loving seeing Most of our electricity sometimes 99% of the day is all solar produced . Waiting for inspections to contribute some power back to the grid. Can’t wait to see that part .
Main advise if not a newly constructed house need to start 6 to 9 months ahead as permits can take a while. I also needed a permit from central hudson as meter had to be moved .
Aj was awesome to the end . Always answered our questions.

From the first step, the had full communication with me about my solar project. I have had solar on my other house in other states and once my contract was signed she wouldn't return my calls. Empire has been very good at communicating with me.
They installed my roof and the roof people (men and women) kept my property clean and didnot destroy anything while the worked. It did take 2 days, but I have a unique roof. Great job, my roof looks great!

Empire Solar was able to effectively install solar panels on our pitched roof in a timely fashion (for such a complicated roof, they made it look easy). That wasn't the best part though, Talmor and his team of roofing specialists visited our home and helped us troubleshoot a leak that was plaguing our kitchen. They used considerable patience and dedicated scheduling to help locate the leak and patch us up like new. We haven't had any problems during winter or heavy rain throughout the year. Sincere gratitude to Talmor and the Empire Solar Solutions team for excellent customer service and a successful installation above all odds/challenges.

I have been wanting solar power on my home for years but didn't know how to go about it. I contacted Empire Solar Solutions, told them exactly what I wanted to do and left everything to them. I was very nervous about the decision but the entire team at Empire Solar Solutions made the process very easy and delivered more than I asked for. Now that my system is up and running I tell everyone that it was the best decision i've made in a long time. No matter what the power company decides to do with their rates it doesn't affect me as I am now my own power company. Thank you Empire Solar Solutions!

The installation crew was top notch. They arrived earlier than was scheduled and got right to work. They were quick efficient and consulted with me constantly on where to set up the system and how it looked visually. Very professional crew who worked together as a team and got the job done. On the sale side, Wes was a good salesman. I was a little confused by all the paperwork that was required. In the future I would suggest a little more explanation of the process and the paperwork I was going through. Would work with them again and would endorse the quality of their work.

Hands down the best experience from day one! Of course we waited until mid-September 2025 to inquire about solar before the federal tax incentives expired. We got 3 quotes locally and decided to go with Empire Solar Solutions because they were the least expensive and I felt comfortable with their staff. Not only did they deliver what was promised, it was all completed in record time. They went above and beyond for us and I'm so appreciative! Shannon Murphy at their office continually kept me updated as the process went on from financing, design/engineering, permitting, and installation. TOOK TIME & EXTRA WORK--but the team has met my expectations.
Initially an extremely ugly installation with LARGE SILVER BRACING visible supporting the exterior of panels across my roof. I believe this was an UNSUPERVISED team. It looked nothing like any of their marketing materials on line, on social media channels, their website... or like any other installation I have ever seen.
I initially made outreach only to be thwarted with terrible, non-responsive customer service. But after writing this review, they became extremely responsive and fixed my install to look neat ...and just like every other tidy install I have seen.
Net-Net: Ensure you have made an explicit agreement as to what panels, racking, bracing, etc you want showing on your roof. And get it In Writing.

My experience with Empire Solar has been nothing short but amazing. From the initial process with Nore (regional sales manager) at the beginning of August answering any questions or concerns I had. Then Tal stepped in and coordinated installation of my new roof replacing 18 plywood prior to new shingles being placed. Tal did a fantastic job coordinating everything from start to finish while keeping me appraised. On (10/08) they installed my solar panels and did a magnificent job from panel placement to the electrical part done by Dane who answered every electrical concerns i had. 2 months later I’m a town inspection away from being up and running. I want to thank Nore, Tal and the entire Empire team for making my experience memorable.

I had an excellent experience with Empire Solar Solutions. They redid my roof shingles quickly and with outstanding quality. After that, they installed solar panels on my large barn roof, running a trench to the house for the underground cables, and set up all the electrical panels next to my existing electric meter. The solar panel installation was completed in less than a day, and the finished look is fantastic. The electrical panels were installed neatly and professionally, with everything looking very clean. I am extremely impressed with their speed, workmanship, and attention to detail. Highly recommend!
