Empire today is not very ethical in their dealings with the consumer. I had the unfortunate experience dealing with a dishonest salesman. Overcharge some $5,000 dollars for kitchen floor replacement. Salemans failed to breakdown cost of materials and labor. Total cost should have come to $3,500 billed $8,000. Salesman got a huge commission.

STAY AWAY! One star too many. Scheduled an appt for 5/14, NO SHOW NO CALL. Called Empire and was advised there was a scheduling conflict and our spot was canceled. Would have been nice to be informed. We rescheduled for 5/18. Again NO SHOW NO CALL. Called Empire again and was told no one was assigned to our appointment. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!! Lost 2 sales now cause my MIL was planning on purchasing from you as well. I will never use your company and will make sure to spread the word about how you treat potential buyers.

They suck! Good luck getting through to customer service even with a “hot service” ticket number. Cancellation on day of service, 1 guy showed up for install. Do not use this company. I plan on putting this with the whole story on every site I can.

Horrible. They cancelled our installation at 9am on the morning of. I left three messages for installation and two messages for customer service and got no call back until the next day. I missed the call back so they left a message. I returned their call and left a message. Still waiting to speak to someone... Good service up until they make the sale. Once they have your money, they just don't care. Of particular note for terrible customer service are Viri and Cheyenne in the Los Angeles area office. I will definitely not use them again and strongly recommend that you don't either. Read the reviews and heed the warnings - I wish I had before going with them. Big mistake.

Empire Today installed our LVP flooring and 2 rooms of carpet on 5-4-21. On 5-19-21, we notified our salesperson that we had some LVP installation issues that required correction. We were advised to call the Empire toll-free number to request assistance and to open a service ticket. We made numerous attempts via phone. Several times we were told we would receive call backs, but were never contacted. When we were finally able to speak to a CSR, we received the run-a-round, or incorrect info; and our salesman was totally unable to provide assistance. During the course of our unsuccessful quest for assistance, we were assigned 2 different case/reference numbers; and spoke with 3 different CSRs. When we attempted to use the on-line chat service, we were terminated/disconnected twice. We were finally contacted on 7-10-21 to schedule a repair appointment for 7-19-21...60 days after we first attempted to request assistance in correcting install problems.
The carpet and LVP flooring installed by Empire Today are satisfactory; but their installation and follow-up customer service are abysmal. The installation teams were not well trained, and only 1 out of 4 of the immigrant installers could speak English. The installer sent out to correct our problems was capable, and it was necessary for him to redo at least of 1/2 of our kitchen floor.
We would never go with Empire Today again, and strongly recommend that you don't either.

Empire today did not honor their warranty they installed floating plank that is supposed to lock tight I have boards popping up all over the house been calling since April they refuse to make good on the warranty and fix their mistake. They have stood me up on 2 installation dates and now refuse to respond to emails or phone calls.

Buyers Beware!!! I wish I had read reviews before I asked to install carpet in my house, I had them installed two rooms of carpet in my house 2017 and since then I had nothing but problems. First, forget the warranty it a joke cause they will not honor it. I paid 2200.00 for what was supposed to be high grade carpet. By the ended of the first year carpet was worn and look like I had it for years. Called about the carpet looking so worn. They replace was nothing like they promise. Instead, I got have the carpet cleaned by a professional and Have them write a statement it not normal wear and tear. They would not come out and even look at the carpet. Now the carpet buckling and I have a statement from a professional carpenter stating that the buckling is due to poor installation. Empire wants me to pay them to fix the problem that was cause by their installer which was a man and his young Son. I don't even know if they were licenses installers. At the end of the day I got the raw end of the deal and stuck with buckling carpet😢
