First, the date I used is approximate. I had my backyard fenced in. I give Ergeon 3 stars. It is my opinion that communicating with Ergeon about was too much of a challenge for me. Seemed very slow to answer texts return phone calls. My opinion they did not perform a satisfactorily clean up after the fence was installed. Large dirt clods, red clay on top of mulch, small flags to identify where fence was to installed were left laying on ground, and debris left, One fence post was replaced - had holes drilled in wrong place. I asked more than once for a supervisor or manager to come and view the issues. That did not happen. Ergeon did send me a "box of food" that I did not ask for. Overall, I have not been satisfied with their communications and the absence of a decent cleanup.

Terrible customer service. Substandard workmanship. Three neighbors with common fence requested separate invoices. Not honored or provided. The fence is not straight as it needed to be. It zigzags. We asked Ergeon to repair it. They sent a “supervisor ” to assess the work. He said it was straight. I asked him to utilize a laser for accuracy. He did not have one. I asked him to use a string line and he claimed he did not possess one. We provided one for him to check for accuracy. He checked it. He admitted it was not straight. We could all see it with our very eyes, the string line could not lie. They requested more money to fix their substandard work. Now they claim the fence was completed per the contract and insist on more money to fix their problem. They want to make it ours. We shall see what the next steps will be. Find a more honorable company.

My fence installation was on 4/17/25. The installers were unable to complete the job because according to them, the suppliers did not send enough panels to complete my aluminum fence project. I actually think this was not the case because the installers put up the first side of my fence and I informed them they put in a single gate, but the plans were for a double gate. I think this caused them to have to use extra panels in order to fix the mistake. Bottom line was they were unable to finish. I asked my PM via text message on 4/18 when they would be returning to finish the job. He said he was trying to get in touch with the supplier to get additional panels delivered. After not hearing anything on Monday 4/21, I asked for an update by text and got no reply. I asked again on Tuesday 4/22 and finally got a reply that afternoon saying new panels would be delivered on 4/28 and installers would be here on 4/30 to finish. While I wasn't happy having to wait another week, especially for a mistake they were claiming was made by the supplier but I agreed. I then got a confusing text on 4/24 saying that the final walk-through was complete, which I questioned because the fence was not done yet. I found out at this point that there was a new project manager assigned. On Monday 4/28, I get a text from my new project manager that the delivery was pushed to the following Monday 5/5. I took issue with this because I don't understand why it needs to take an additional week and again why the supplier isn't making accomodations to fix their mistake. I tried calling customer service and all they did was put me in touch with my project manager. He said he was working with the supplier to get it sooner and would let me know something by end of day. He never called or texted me back. I sent a text on Tuesday asking for the overdue update and got no reply, so I again called customer service and asked to speak with someone other than the PM that could help. I was told someone would call me back, but no one did. I sent more text messages on Wednesday 4/30 and my PM finally responded. He basically said there was nothing he could do but said he would be tracking delivery to ensure it gets here on 5/5 and provide updates if something went wrong. So now it's 4:10pm on Monday 5/5. Nothing has been delivered. My text messages to my PM have gone unanswered. I got a message on Facebook that "managers were look into it" but like with everything else, nothing has happened.

The team at Ergeon was professional and efficient! Our initial representative Miguel helped us with the quote (the best one around) and was helpful in getting us started. Sam our project manager was on top of all the coordination pieces which was a blessing! And our installer Ernesto gladly worked around the lemon trees we didn’t want to lose as well as cleared an entire section of overgrown foliage we couldn’t get too. Thanks Ergeon team!

I made the mistake of not learning from my first experience with Ergeon. Earlier in 2025 I selected them for a fence project. Estimator and proposal team was great (reason for 2 star). Actual project mgt terrible...changed contractors at last minute. Ergeon did not communicate with replacement contractor and fence was installed backward. I had to pay neighbors $ for mistake, which I had to demand Ergeon to make me whole on. Fence subsequently has required renailing and repair because of poor workmanship.
I received a proposal on a 2nd project for backyard artificial turf and yard leveling. I thought I'd give another chance because the pricing was good. Same thing...good proposal process and sophisticated live stream video walk through of site, then very poor project management. They suddenly went with a replacement contractor without letting me know in advance. Ergeon did not communicate project details again with the replacement contractor...and a bait and switch with a revised proposal twice the original price (because of additional work Ergeon did not capture). They did not return 4 phone calls and texts over a 4 day period until today, the day before project re-start (the project had been delayed 3 weeks because of weather but also because of their contractor miscommunications). I cancelled project, wasting a month of my time. Don't be fooled by initial quote and estimate process. They grab lowest price from whatever local contractors they can find, with a lack of quality evaluation and quality control. Ergeon is only a middleman so you are paying for their mark-up.
