Opened a service request for our broken microwave on Dec 1st. 3 technician visits later, and they have FAILED to repair the unit. It's now March 4th. This insurance company does not deliver on its promise...they are refusing to replace the unit, and want to continue to try and repair! Meanwhile, I continue to pay $98 per month for "COVERAGE". Never again....
They cover just about nothing.
I had more than a dozen service requests. I think only one or two of them ever got resolved.
I had a smart thermostat that costs around $1000 (came with the home). When it went bad, they offered me a $40 replacement thermostat with none of the smart features.
Each request, even the ones that did eventually get covered, took weeks of back and forth with the warranty company and the contractors. They take forever to approve any and don't keep you informed during the process.
You need extreme patience trying to contact them over the phone. Their automated system will do everything it can to funnel you into using it to schedule a new request (which incurs a cost) rather than talking to a person. Expect to spend at least 5 minutes getting to a person each time.
Many of the contractors they use also don't prioritize communication. You'll need to spend considerable time tracking down answers and listening to both sides saying their waiting on the other.
Their website is unreliable. I can't see any of my recent claims. The latest claim I can see is from 11 months ago.
I recommend if you have these guys that you talk to a person every single time. Even the people will put in a service request for things that your policy doesn't cover. So be certain to confirm that your policy covers what you're asking for, because they'll charge you to send someone out regardless of coverage.
