Green House Solar and Air Inc

I was guaranteed and promised on multiple occasions that there was no fee, charges or obligations from me for exploring the program offered by Green house solar and air to install solar on my home. They contacted me with a program being offered through Florida state, a no obligation and no out of pocket cost for me program. I expressed interest to see if my home would be approved. To know if your home is approved you have to sign the contracts with them. I did as requested, but verified every step of the way with them and Jacob Moore my sales rep that there I would not be responsible for any charges, even if I pulled out of the project. I was assured no, there is no cancellation fee. A week into the start of the program I needed to provide my homeowners insurance, I immediately reached out to let them know I as in the process of changing home owners insurance companies. I was assured that wouldn't be an issue and I again asked if I couldn't get it sorted there would be no fees. I was assured again no fees would be charged. I advised them during this conversation I did not think I could get it sorted in time. I was under the impression the project had been cancelled. Now 3 months later I have been invoiced for over $12,000 as a "cancellation fee". This is completely unacceptable and unethical by the sales staff. My sales rep is now ignoring me... I immediately reached out to the company but they informed me this is due to not cancelling the project within a 3 day window I was never advised of. There have been no surveys, products exchanged or services rendered on this project. This is completely insane and I will be taking every step possible to fight this invoice. Under no circumstances should this company be trusted.

Second Time Fixing Installation Issues, Health Concerns Rising

I’ve been dealing with Green House Solar and Air Inc. for improper solar panel installation that caused moisture buildup and damage to my home. This is the second time they are coming out to address the same issue, and I’m now concerned about potential mold and health risks. I’m hoping the company takes responsibility this time and resolves the problem thoroughly, as it has created serious concerns for my home and family. I will update this review based on how the situation is handled.

I received excellent service when having solar panels installed on my personal property! Because of the team's exceptional professionalism and productivity, there was a noticeable reduction in energy costs.

Would not reccomend. Unfortuatly, Green house initially was great, but when any issues began to arise its near impossible to get ahold of them. They claim they will call you back, but do not. The many woes Ive had with Green House have occured ever since I had them install my solar. I tried to not making a big deal about the issues, but there was lack of follow through on their part. The inital installer brought his dog with him. I didnt make a big deal about this, because who doesnt like dogs. I began having issues with the Cell card because of T-mobile, and their fix was to charge me an outrageous fee to swap out the card. I was informed the original card would be viable for many years to come, but only lasted about 4. (Would not reccomend anyone getting a cell card for their system due to band withs becoming obsolete). Ive had faults in the battery communication, and Green House would not properly diganose the issue. They claimed to have placed a ticket in with Solar Edge, but never followed through. I began having leaks in my roof where the solar was installed, and Green House did not take responsibility of ensuring the panels were not at fault. Green House promised to have a one time removal of my solar for a roofing company to replace my roof, but did not follow through with their promise. Green house wanted to charge me for the reinstall, and wanted to do the re-roofing at a higher rate then roofing companies. Once I chose to go with a competor, they noted that the install was not completed properly. Shingles where the mounts were not properly reglued to prevent water. There was an issue with the all the connectors not properly crimped, and the competior tech eaisly pulled the connections appart. I would not reccomend Green House to work on anything in your home. Once Green House completes their job, youre ignored if any issues arise unelss you pester them on a daily basis, and theyll want to charge you to fix their inadequencies. Bunch of Wolves in sheeps clothing, and thats the unfortunate reality for my experience with them.
**Edit** Just had my Back up battery replaced due to battery communication error and after hours of trouble shooting from the competitor installer, it was found that wires were not correctly installed in the inverter from the battery because of this, my original battery has not functioned properly since install. Again, would not reccomend Green House.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Green House Solar, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated.

I own Bulls-Eye Dumpster Rental and working with Green House Solar and Roofing has been a pleasure. They are prompt and professional. When the dumpster is ready to be picked up there's no delay in contacting me for pick up. Highly recommend company.

The absolutely worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Our living room ceiling just fell in because of two years of constant leaks. Two years of Terrible communication. Failure to own the problems that they have created. We Just had to hire a second company to pull off the entire system to then be able to remove the shingles so we can then replace the rotted spots in the roof, to then reinstall a new roof, the system and replace our ceiling but before we can do that we have to remove the insulation we paid them to take care of, which they didn’t because mold is growing in our leaking attic. And what are they doing about it? Blaming the products they used for the job. Ignoring us while we plead for help. Have you ever seen the results of a rotted ceiling that has fallen on a new couch. Trust me, you don’t want to. Use anyone else other than Green House Solar. They are single handily killing the reputation of their industry.

Great company friendly customer service quick response times and the system is wonderful. We’ve had it for six years now it’s always taking care of if there is an issue in a timely manner. They use SolarEdge as the converter brand and Mission Solar Energy Panels that are very efficient in producing the KW hours promised

My experience with Green House Solar & Air over the years has been amazing. I’ve had multiple systems installed on 2 different homes and received quality and value added service every time. The two times I’ve had a problem with my system Green House Solar has jumped in to get it fixed right away, they sell great products with fantastic Warranties to ensure peace of mind. From sale to service they have taken good care of us every step of the way! We look forward to purchasing another system from them in the future on our next home.

Pray that you never get hit by one of their work trucks...

(In all fairness, I have not used their services. I can not speak on their quality of workmanship.)

HOWEVER...

In Dec 2022, I was rear-ended by one of Green House Solar and Air's former employees. First and foremost, I am not sure why this employee was even allowed to drive their work truck.. considering how many traffic violations he had prior (it is literally public record). The bigger issue is who they have as an insurance provider. The insurance company they use is about as unethical and unprofessional as it gets. I fought for months to get my car fixed and the insurance company continued to blame me for the damages. IT WAS A REAR END COLLISION ON I75 AND THE EMPLOYEE ADMITTED FAULT. I have tried to contact Green House MULTIPLE times about the lack decency shown by their insurance company. They have taken down my info and never gotten back to me. Their insurance company has cheated me out of $2000. This insurance company took months to get back to me and hardly ever responded to calls and emails in a timely manner. I had a rental car for 3 months. I was assured MULTPLE times in writing before I booked anything that I would be reimbursed for this rental car. Only after I paid for the rental car and submitted receipts, did they inform me that they would actually not be reimbursing me. I understand this is not Green House Solar and Air's problem but they have done NOTHING to help me while their insurance continues to scam me (and 100's of other people according to the reviews and BBB claims). When I do get some one from Green House on the phone, they take my information and then never get back to me. I believe I have written 3 or 4 emails and not a single one has been answered.

I finally went through my own insurance and have gotten my car fixed. The mechanics who fixed it have confirmed that ALL damage sustained from the rear-end collision is due to this accident. Green House's insurance still refuses to refund me for the rental car. It is very clear that this company values the bottom line more than community members they service. This will not go unnoticed for long.

*** In response to your reply-- I have been fighting with your insurance company for almost a year. They are refusing to give me back my money. They continue to blame me. As a teacher, I do not have the funds to sue them... and they know that. I am the innocent party in this and the ONLY one getting screwed over. Again, I truly hope nobody gets hit by one of your employees. I totally understand accidents happen but the insurance company that YOU choose to use is going to cost YOU business. Hope it's worth it...

For the record, I also had a family member get rear-ended by a different company's fleet truck right around the same time. That company did everything they could to make it right. Your company's response just sounds like a very professional and well crafted.... excuse.
