Marcus came out for an 11:00 appointment and was on time and very professional and personable. He gave me cost saving suggestions when he didn't have to. To be honest I was already set to go with another company and just wanted a 2nd quote, but because of the customer service I received I went with Guardian and signed the contract that same day. Marcus left my home 2 1/2 hours later and I felt like he was a part of the family because of the great conversation we shared during his visit. Thank you and I look forward to seeing the completion of my house.

Working with John Jones was a great experience. He helped me understand my siding project better than any of the other companies I had out to give me a quote. He's the only one who took the time to inspect the roof and explain how the siding, roof, and ventilation work together.

Guardian was great to work with. Joe and Josh were present to answer all of our questions during the installation of our new roof and gutters. We had a particularly difficult issue with water flow around our chimney that they corrected with a great deal of thought and personal attention. They arrived in the time frame they stated in the contract and their crew were friendly, respectful and professional. We recommend them.

The salesman, Patrick was quite good. He provided a detailed quotation and did everything he could to get my business. He made a very good first impression! The front office was not responsive after they received my down payment, but once I called around and became persistent, I was assigned to a different representative, Patty H. Patty apologized and followed-up to ensure my project was scheduled before the date listed in the contract.
Art and his crew did a very good job, worked around the rain and even stayed late to get the roof and gutters done. His crew had good attitudes and did quality work. They did a good job cleaning up afterwards.
Josh and Mike (project managers) also stepped in to ensure my siding repairs were done according to my instructions. When one crew member damaged one of our bushes, and another one left rather large ruts in my front yard, they made sure the turf was repaired and that I was compensated for the damaged bush.
Patty H. kept in touch throughout the project.
I do hope that Guardian is able to resolve their issues in the office. If I was not as persistent, this may not have turned out as well as it did, but I give them credit for ensuring that I was satisfied. Job well done!

Guardian Home Improvements was a great company to work with from start to finish. They are reliable and very prompt. The installers went right to work and were very conscious about keeping the area clean of any debris. The roof looks great and much thanks to Joshua Moore the project manager!! He was a pleasure to work with and explained the process so there were no surprises. He complimented the install team by sharing how they have great workmanship and how well they clean up after completion. I will recommend this company in the future and will call them for any other improvements we may need!

So far so good. The workers were good workers. Josh was attentive to the job, seeing that this is a new position for him. Clean up after the job 👌 completion was 👍. Concerned about some of the shingles sticking up along the gutters, they said the heat will allow them to lay down.

*EDIT* Here we are, 2 years later and still dealing with this terrible company. After many phone calls, they came last fall to "fix" the terrible caulk and the pieces that were falling off. They attempted to grind off the caulk and in the process, damaged the trim even more. They then attempted to cover these scratches by smearing caulk over them. Now it looks worse, which I didn't realize was possible. When My husband and I went to inspect the "fixes", we were told by Josh that his boss is pissed off by my google review and if I would agree to take it down, they would power wash my siding for free. WOW!! What a deal. Not. I told him that I won't be taking it down and I just want my trim fixed. So, after many phone calls over the winter, I was told they would be there in March to fix everything. Nope. They haven't shown up. I have called and left many messages since and received no response. They have also blocked me on Facebook after I left a negative review there. So, it looks like I will be contacting a lawyer and getting my money back. I have also filed a report with the BBB.
We used Guardian to have our wood trim wrapped in aluminum.
Darlene, that gave us the estimate was so friendly and helpful. Theresa from the office called and said she would call me every other week with an update.
After the contract was signed and they had half of the payment in their pockets, all communications ceased. I called several times a week and left a message requesting a call back. I only received one when I threatened to call a lawyer.
At this point it had been almost 5 months since I paid them almost $4000.
Nick and Bobby, that handled most of our installation were AMAZING! Nick was in constant communication during the entire project. They were professional, friendly, and great at their jobs!
Nick, Bobby, and Darlene would earned Guardian 5 stars.
However, communication from the office is very lacking.
*EDIT*In October (2 months after they completed the project) I noticed that one of the vents had been put on upside down and some of the trim was coming off and the majority of the caulk looks awful so I contacted them again since they have a guarantee. Again, I had to leave multiple messages before hearing back from anyone. I was told someone would be out the following week. Nothing. After multiple email exchanges with Tracy, I was told they would be out on December 30th. I stayed home all day and no one showed.
I understand that everyone is short staffed right now but all they really needed to do was give me a quick call or shoot me an email saying as much and that they were trying to get us on the schedule ASAP. Going completely silent and ignoring clients is not the way to get repeat customers.
I have lost all confidence in Guardian. There were multiple people in our neighborhood that were going to use them for the same service and for new roofs, gutters, and siding but they have now gone elsewhere.

I was having trouble with a contractor that was trying to take advantage of me and my disabled husband in northern Wisconsin, I contacted Guardian Home Improvement by mistake, looking for some advice. Even though Guardian Home Improvement does not operate this far north, Patti H was more than willing to help me, she took her time explaining contractor contacts and state laws. She also emailed me to follow up and check on me. Because of Patti’s help we were able to get out of the contact with the sneaky contractor. I would absolutely do business with Guardian Home Improvement, They were kind and understanding to someone they knew the minute they took my call they would not be getting a contract with or money from and they were terrific! Imagine that care and concern from your contractor when you are going through something stressful, how wonderful it would be to have someone watching out for you. Thank you Patti for going above and beyond!

Where to begin! Out nearly 50k for cedar siding repair and a full painting on our exterior.
At the beginning, they under quoted and measured for the siding repair. Within two days, they needed an additional 10k. This was in April ‘22. The expectation they set was that the painting would begin the week after siding repair.
Long story short, after months of hounding without answers, the painting was completed in sept ‘22, but not to the agreed upon spec. After another week of painting, they got it right.
In Jan ‘23 we noticed all the paint beginning to chip in peel off all over our house. This paint was a 15 year guaranteed ceramic coating the cost us a lot of money.
Here we are now still trying to work with this company to get it resolved. Needless to say we are extremely unsatisfied and feel that we are out almost $50,000 and left with a house that still needs to be repainted.

Updating: Went from 2 stars to 1, it has been over 3 months since Guardian finally got in contact with me and still no solution. They tried two ways to fix my roof and unfortunately it made it look worse. It has now been almost a month since the last attempt. After not hearing anything from the last solution attempt, I reached out to the Production Manager on 10/9 and spoke with someone else over the phone who said they would talk with the PM and get back to me on next steps and I have not heard back as of 10/24.
Reached out last October for a coating to be done on our roof. The up front customer service was great and they came out shortly after initial contact. Once contract was signed and deposit received the communication was poor and I had to keep following up. They came out right before year end and applied the coating.
The coating was applied poorly in multiple spots and are overly shiny and can be seen from down the road. The company has been called twice to discuss options and I always get forwarded to production and no one ever picks up and I leave a voice-mail and get told it will be returned in 24 hours. The most recent call was a week ago and I have not heard back. Disappointing after the beginning started off so promising.
