My Doorbell camera is not working properly and they want to charge me for the camera to be replace and the service personnel to come replace it for $250. I ended up canceling my service from them. They will not work with you to come fixed for free and also the customer service representative is awful. There doorbell camera is awful for $250.

I bought a house with guardian equipment and tried to switch to another company with better prices. Guardian was entirely unhelpful and every call left me with different information that was discredited by the next person I talked to, so I never knew what the path forward was. Now, I am stuck with an IQ Panel that they insist is mine and I am free to register with a different company, but they can not or will not give any codes or send any technicians to unlock it, so it is a useless panel and the only people who are able to assist are entirely unwilling to.

I have been a long time Guardian Protection customer. I have the service at my home (replaced ADT) and had it at a beach house. I went to get it for my business. What a mess. The person we dealt with said we had no credit even though we have approved credit with all of our vendors (including other utility services). Each time they said they checked, the rep sent back the wrong company name and addresses. We resent the correct information they repeatedly sent back the wrong info and said we had no credit.
I have a credit service for my businesses that tells me when our credit is checked or when there is an event impacting our credit score. Not once were we notified via the service that Guardian ran our credit.
We were told by Guardian we would have "to pay the entire installation cost up front and the first year of monitoring." Unreal. Or I could add it to my personal account and credit.
Not only am I going elsewhere for my business security but I am now considering changing my home security as well.

This company has shaddy busyness practices. They didnt mention the contract length (5 five years) nor the fact that I would have to pay thousands to get out of it before the end. If you need to reset passwords it will be a nightmare. Stay away from this company . The new reset passwords will not work and your account will be blocked. Imagine that in an emergency situation.
