Gutter Helmet by Lednor Home Solutions

Salesperson made a major mistake and my project could not be completed as expected. The crew came up with an alternative solution that is not really suitable but left me no choice.

Had to have a new roof installed which required the removal of our Helmet system. Once the new roof was in place I couldn’t wait to get the Helmet system reinstalled since it’s fall in the New England area and leaves are falling like snow. The reinstall was done on schedule in a professional manner by a great technician.
In 22 years I have never had to clean my gutters and I anticipate many more years of service from my Helmet system.

I had a very disappointing experience with Lednor Home Solutions. They performed a reinstallation of the gutter helmet system on my new roof, and the quality of the work was unacceptable. Several of the new roof shingles are buckled and will not lay flat, which can compromise the integrity of the entire roof. Even two weeks later, the issue remains unresolved.
In addition, the end caps on the gutter helmet system were left bent outward, exposing sharp shards of metal. Not only does this look terrible, but it’s also a serious safety hazard.
When I called to report the problems, I was told an installer would come out on Wednesday—then that turned into Friday. No one ever showed up, and calls to the office went unanswered. This is completely unprofessional and shows a clear lack of customer care. If this is how they respond to initial issues, I can’t imagine what their response would be like if I ever had to make a warranty claim.
I’m very glad I didn’t pay in full upfront. I will not pay the remaining balance until the problems are fixed to a professional standard. I would not recommend Lednor Home Solutions to anyone. Poor workmanship, worse customer service—buyer beware.

Great service

The one star is for the fact that they did show up! The team was in and out in a very short time and left without advising me that they were done even though they knew I was home as we had spoken when they arrived. They did install gutter guards, but that was all.
The contract I had with Lednor included re-leveling of the gutters, check caulking, and clean out the downspouts. I had specifically brought the downspouts to the attention of the sales person as I knew them to be blocked. I have no evidence that any of these requirements were completed by them, on the contrary, it is obvious that the downspouts were not cleared .
The first rain we had just days after they installed the guards resulted in the continued overflowing of the gutters as shown in the attached photos. It is noticeable that the main overflow is from the end away from the downspout which, to me, indicates that the slope of the gutters is opposite to what is needed and that this portion of the contract as ignored. These overflows continue to destroy my garden below the gutters.
The contract was for a not inconsiderable sum of money, all of which was very quickly charged after the crew were here without any enquiry from them as to my satisfaction. Obviously their billing department is efficient!!
I complained immediately that it was obvious that they had failed to complete the job, sending photo's to show their failure, and was told that they were running 2-3 weeks out for service and that the installation crew would be in touch to advise me when they could be expected. There was no intimation that they would prioritize this as a correction to a failed installation. That was on June 9th. It is now June 28th and nothing from them. Obviously customer satisfaction is a somewhat low priority.
The only correspondence I am receiving consistently from the company is encouraging me to recommend them to my friends and family. Are they joking?

Pricing is comparable or less than micro filter brands and product is superior. All of the negative reviews have to do with a $50 fee for asking them to clean the gutters. I was very happy with the sales process and the installation. The only reason why I gave this company 4 stars instead of 5 is that I asked them to not come too early in the day. The installer showed up at 7:30 a.m. which was annoying. He did a great job though and was done in an hour.

Great product and a pleasure to work with the company from start to finish

This company is topnotch. They are less expensive that some of the other companies, but their product is superior. They are very professional, friendly, helpful and do excellent work. I had the gutter put on and a year later found that I had to replace my roof due to other problems. They sent a team out to remove the helmet, which had to be removed before the new roof was installed. They stored it and marked where it went and when my roof was completed, they sent a team back out and reinstalled the helmet. They did an outstanding job. They stand completely behind their product and work and even come out once a year and inspect, adjust if necessary and clean the gutters if anything gets in. I give them an
