My project, which included replacement of an impact window, impact standard door, and impact French door, began in October 2023, and finally completed November, 2025. HPA was acquired by Great Day Improvements since that time along with Champion windows And doors. The doors are beautiful but pricey. The 2 doors and window cost $20,000. Without working a Florida SAFE program $10,000 grant, the cost would have been unreasonable.

There were many installation issues. The window and French door had defective components. I had flooding soon after the French door was installed because it wasn’t sealed.

There aren’t enough number one workers that can perform at a high level. They send only one worker for two worker jobs.

There are problems with the supplier’s sending correct parts.

There are organizational issues. A half dozen times a worker showed up with the wrong parts or didn’t have the skill to complete the job.

When you try to call the company, nobody answers and they never return your call.

I couldn’t recommend this company.

A want to make a special shout out to Derrick of Champion windows and doors. He provided me his personal contact number and never gave up trying to make it right. He’s a true number one performer that really cares about his work. He pushed the issues up the chain and followed through. Without him, I don’t think the issues would ever have been fixed.

The sales person lied that the installers are Champion employees. A month ago, I had independent contractors coming to install their windows, and only one of them spoke English. He knew that the window was defective, both scratched and also the spring did not work, yet they still installed it. In addition, they cracked my windowsill. It’s been a whole month, And They still haven’t given me the date when they will replace the defective window. I did not recommend anyone doing business with Champion windows.

13 windows replaced in 2021 and one stopped locking, they sent someone to replace the lock and now the same window has an issue with a spring mechanism -- but I can't reach anyone! Been calling since the beginning of 2025. Reached someone named Richard once - no callbacks, since. Calling now goes direct to voicemail but voicemailbox is full....(???)
I had a good experience back when the project was ongoing, but the Customer Service side of what is happening now is lacking.
As I am not able to reach anyone now, I am wondering if they went out of business most recently.
I can append this review if I can just get some help!

UPDATE: I finally got a callback, but now they are asking for a $199 trip charge before even scheduling someone to come out - apparently my warranty is a limited lifetime warranty.
I had not choice but to pay the fee in order to schedule a visit.
This callback earned another star, I will update again once the service has been preformed.

I have been trying to resolve an issue with 2 windows since December of 2024. I called their office in St. Petersburg and left messages but never received a call back. I was able to speak a person and 3 occasions was told that the person that I needed to talk to was out of the office but she would have him call or she would call or would text or email. I am still waiting for the call,text or email. I finally decided to file with small claims court and they office in Broward County was severed papers. It will probably do nothing but if people are made aware what they are like they will go elsewhere.

I live in PALM BAY Florida. I have been trying to finish my window service for almost a year and a half. I’m still waiting for an inspection. I make phone calls and leave messages for Elizabeth. She never answers. She never calls back. I have left multiple messages I had to reach out to Better Business Bureau And that’s when they came to replace a missing window screen. Very poor Service the installers were great, but they don’t work for this company. They were subcontracted. They came from Jacksonville the company itself. It’s horrible. My daughter is going through the same thing. Her windows were leaking water. It’s been a very Bad experience with HPA Windows company, do not do business with them you will be very disappointed.

Parents went into debt getting their house redone. We have consistently had issues some with the windows not locking correctly and leaking air out causing it to fog. Apparently one of them punctured the layers. And other issues that these people refuse to address we waited months for our door only to have a problem shortly after when it started to start peeling. Ive followed up with Richard repeatedly called repeatedly asked repeatedly for help and no one returns my calls. It kinda feels like they shoved a cactus up you know where. I feel like their messing my parents over taking advantage of the elderly i really hope they get ahold of me soon.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!!! They do not know how to communicate effectively or really at all. Wish you the best of luck if you do 🙏

I’m not a person that often writes a review unless I have something kind to say. Unfortunately, in this circumstance, I have nothing kind to say whatsoever. This company installed faulty windows in my house that had to be replaced twice at the time of original install, this was on the family room space of the back of my house. I’ve now had an issue with one of those windows and I have been waiting over a year for the replacement. I physically showed up at their location three weeks ago and they said that they would call me back when they had more information. During this time I have left a voicemail every day and no one has responded back to me. I physically showed back up there space again today and was dismissed by Lennox King, calling herself a manager that I had not met on my previous visit. Don’t do business with this company. If you want to save yourself the headache and aggravation find a reputable company that has good reviews. I only went with this company based on a recommendation trying to give business to my friends son, who was working with them at the time. I have never in my life heard of waiting over 12 months for a replacement. This company is garbage.

My windows were constructed in 2016-17. Supposedly have "lifetime warranty". First window began building up condensation between panes just before hurricane Ian and was replaced with no issues. Now 2 more windows are having the same issues and one is leaking into my walls and house. Their phones go directly to a full voice mail. Their previous email is now a daemon and typed messages through their website remain unanswered. Might be best to stay away.

Absolutely Do Not use this company. To start the salesman Craig B. will sell you on a grant from My safe home Fl… it’s BS. Do not do it. He straight up lied about secured funds and how it works.
Then they took over 2.5 years to complete 1 Window! The inspector failed it multiple times due to HPAs incompetence and unavailability to get the correct safety devices.
The head of the Permitting department Elizabeth lied about the status of the job over and over and then decided to just ignore me. I made over 50 calls and emails trying to reach her in an 1 year timeframe and she was always sick or “on vacation”…
Absolutely horrible customer service and practices. And to top everything off, the grant expires after 1 year.. HPA will sell you on this grant, over charge you for the job, and then take too long to complete it and the grant expires. Stay far from this company and read their BBB reviews. They should be shut down
