LeafFilter Gutter Protection

We had these installed over newer gutters a couple of years ago. We contacted the company to complain about the quality of the installation. They disavowed any responsibility did nothing and charged us $95. If there was a zero they’d get one.

Giving free stuff!!

Anthony Sextor and his partner worked 12 hours at my house. They did an excellent job, cleaned all debris, and were very friendly. I highly recommend them

Kiomani Abron was a very knowledgeable salesman and worked very hard to get us the best deal possible. Ryan, Kyle, & Matt not only did a great job of installing the gutters, but each of them took the time to answer my questions and explain the process. And you really can't beat the warranty.

This is a sequel to the previous post. Gutter overflow would not stop and LF suggested we trim our shingles back 1/2 inch. We had another contractor come in and remove the entire LF system. He commented that in addition to not really needing the gutter barrier, we were overcharged by over $2500. It seemed very expensive when their installers (two) were here less than 3 hours and it didn't seem the materials could have been more than $500. So BUYER BEWARE!!

Rates were reasonable. Technician Wesley Voss was friendly and did a great job. Also it was easy to schedule appointment.

I’m writing this review because I am tired of seeing these misleading advertisements.

Leaf Filter claims “LeafFilter completely encloses your gutters and is scientifically-designed to keep EVERYTHING out of your gutters— except water!”

That is a direct quote from their website (7/21/25). That may be an actual claim but the debris piled up on the screen so that the water ran over the gutters so I felt this was a deceptive claim. I had debris, dropping from the live oak trees. I called them and they sent someone out who charged me over $90 to clean them off. I am almost 70 so I don’t climb ladders anymore and was cornered into paying for this “service.”

There are a number of other companies that use this technology and I’d have preferred to use one of them. The product seems to work well so far. We will see what happens over time as debris builds on their filters. However their installers were very inconsiderate and left my deck and back walls of the house a greasy mess. I had to power wash the house, the windows, and the deck after they left. My white railings needed to be cleaned with bleach in order to get them clean again. All they had to do was clean up and leave my home as they found it but they could care less. I told the salesperson who was supposed to escalate my concerns but I received zero follow up. Anyone can sell you the product, but find a company that will treat your home with some respect. I’ll never recommend them.

The ads are predatory and aggressive.
