2 showers were renovated with tub removals.
-- standard size bathtub/shower
-- custom master shower/jet tub and floor throughout the bathroom.

Both installations were completed well, timely, and at a reasonable price. There were a couple of annoyances so I would rate 4.5 stars, if I could.

I went with MaxHome because of the warranty, contract, documentation, professionalism, and the ability to reach out to management for assistance with an acceptable response.

I'm very pleased with the aftercare which prompted me to review the company. I found the shower floor too slippery and they came back out to install a covering that is much better at no additional charge. They also agreed to cover a slippery bench in the custom shower.

Susan is brilliant, kind, compassionate, easy to work with and a perfect design consultant for our needs. We had the absolute best experience and will do business with them MaxHome again.

Nemo completed the remodel today. He called to give me an ETA of his arrival which was right on time. He gave an overview of the project before he began, asked questions, helped identify our needs further. He made suggestions that were on point for our needs for the grab bar installation for my elderly parents. He was extremely thorough, very professional, a very hard worker, mindful of the construction debris and managed our expectations, and cleaned up after himself. I would highly highly highly recommend him for any insulation project. I have a great respect for his craftsmanship and skill. His customer service was world class and we sincerely appreciate his time today.

My husband and I were in the process of redoing our bathroom walls and adding another vanity. We met a lady at Home Depot who works for Max Home and asked if we're looking to redo our bathroom and from there on, we were guided with a sincere approach to help us get our bathroom done. My husband is disabled now and can't do the carpenter work like he used to in the past. Today we had our bathroom redone by a very nice young man named Simon Bentser. He came in like a pro and did an excellent job on my amazing on my new tub/shower. It's very affordable for something that adds value to our home Thanks again Simon for making our project worry free!

From the moment, Andrew walked into our home, we felt like we were in good hands. He wasn’t pushy, didn’t rush me And actually listen to what I want. He took the time to understand our needs, helped us design the perfect walk-in shower. Make sure every detail was actually how I envisioned it. What stood out most was how genuine he was not just a salesman, but someone who truly cared about helping people. He answered every question with honesty, explained everything clearly, and made us feel confident about our decision. If you are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, down to earth, and actually give a darn Andrew is your guy. I am so happy with my new bathroom and I couldn’t have done it without him!

We had a great experience with our installer Isaiah who arrived when he said he would and worked at such a steady pace. He was very polite, personable and detailed in his work. He explained everything so well… I also want to mention Dakota at our Home Depot who hooked us up with MaxHome and also the salesman Josh who was excellent. We are looking forward to using our new shower.

Our installer Mitch was awesome! He called ahead. He showed up on time. He knew his job well. He did his job extremely well. Looking forward to enjoying our new shower for years to come.

Our shower remodel and installation was done by Simon Benster. It was a little more complicated than first anticipated. Simon was very knowledgeable and worked through the issues and explained each step of what he was doing. He worked with my wife to make sure everything met her needs. It took about a day and a half. We were very pleased with the results. He cleaned up everything before he left. 👍👍👍👏

UPDATE: MaxHome representative named Brian called us 04/09/2025 to intimidate that their legal team is upset with the review stating that the picture impacts their business. To make it clear the picture is not the original installation by MaxHome but the result of different caulking applied by my previous tenant. Before the review they refused to do any repair reasoning that it is not under warranty anymore due to different caulk applied. The current solution they extended is to spend $3000+ to reorder material and labor which would completely replace the current shower. We have spent $8000+ for this project and now due to simple caulking mistake we have to remove the whole shower and spend additional money.
The reason for this review is to raise awareness to future customers to avoid making any repair work (even by mistake or with any other contractors) because MaxHome will waive entire warranty and your only choice with MaxHome would be replacing the whole shower.

Deeply Regret Choosing MaxHome – Stay Away

We hired MaxHome to install a walk-in shower after their salesperson confidently promised that we would never have to deal with mold again — which was the main reason we wanted to remodel our bathroom in the first place. They also guaranteed the material was so durable that it wouldn’t be susceptible to damage of any kind.

Fast forward a year, and mold has returned. When we contacted their service department, we were told we’d have to wait an entire month for a technician. We had no choice but to wait — only for the technician to show up and refuse to do any work, blaming the presence of a different caulk.

Now we’re stuck with a moldy, unusable shower, and no other contractors will touch it because they don’t know how to work with the acrylic surface MaxHome installed. MaxHome refuses to take responsibility or offer any real help. They clearly do not stand by their product or their promises.

We truly regret ever becoming their customers. Don’t fall for the sales pitch. Don’t get caught in their net.

Hello, i had a walk-in shower installed in my master bathroom.
The sales person that I had was Tony Leviner, the General Assistant Sales Manager. he was very knowledgeable of the different products that they offered.
The person that did the installation was very professional and walked me thru the process as he was performing the install.

i did have 1 instance that i have a problem with.
they were supposed to install a low rise flooring unit. they contacted me before the install to inform me that the only flooring unit they had had a 5 inch wall and asked if they could use it as a substitute.
They offered to send me a $500.00 gift card for the inconvenience, which I accepted.
It has been 3 months since the installation and i have not received the gift card.
i have contacted them twice.
The first time they were going to look into the situation and advise what was taking so long. (They NEVER called back)
The second time they said "the gift card was put in the mail last week and I should receive it any day" THAT WAS 3 WEEKS AGO AND STILL NO CARD.

Everyone that I have talked to at MaxHome were friendly and helpful. Logan who came out and installed our walk-in shower was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The install took longer than anticipated but Logan handled the problems. This installment could not have gone as smoothly and efficiently without his knowledge and skill. Thank you.
