The unprofessionalism in this company is unbelievable. The first time I set up an appointment, they were a no call no show, then I gave them the opportunity to come again a 2nd time, again no call no show. 3rd time around, a rep kept blowing up my phone to make an appointment. I told him I need to look at my schedule and he proceeded to send someone to my house without and appointment and my daughter recently had surgery and they are disturbing our household. Dont send people to someone house without confirmation. That's extremely rude and unprofessional. At this point I feel like we are being harassed. Enough is enough

WARNING! Be careful before you sign up. They don’t install new panels. They are all 5 years old. Though they provide warranty, they don’t get back on time. It’s been a month since half my panels are not working and no one came to check yet. I was promised a check 1 month ago but never received upon multiple follow ups. Do check BBB complaints before signing up. I am surprised there is no class action filed against this company yet. Try and stay away!!!!!

Do not go with MY SMART HOUSE. I did and it cost me a new roof 9 years later. Also the production they told me my panels would produce was 7200 watts per month, my panels only produced 5800 watts at best. I brought it to the owners attention back in 2016 and was ghosted. Fast forward to 2025, their install was terrible. The flashing they installed around the railing mounts for the solar panels started leaking and destroyed my roof. They removed my roofing tiles and didn’t even nail them back down when they installed them. This caused the panels to side out under the solar panels and water intrusion caused leaks into my house. Cost me $22k to replace my roof on a house that was build in 2009. The owner Carl Vizzi is a con artist, prays on Veterans because he is a Veteran. Don’t let him or his crews touch your roofs. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

At the beginning they are all friendly and easy to communicate with but as soon as you sign they disappear. They installed my solar panels and were supposed to come back to finish the job. That was 27 days ago. They don’t answer my calls or emails and I’m stuck with solars on my roof that don’t work cus they didn’t do the wiring. Find a different company these people are scammers.

They came December door-to-door selling hubby was interested. Had a sales rep the next day come and sign contract.
installed our panels a week later had a Riverside utility inspector come out in March. He said there were some issues with the electric panel and ever since I’ve been calling them and calling them and calling them trying to get this all sorted out and they just keep saying they’re gonna call me back. They’re gonna call me back they’re gonna let me know and they never do. Right now At this point I’m stuck paying the solar panels and paying my electric bill which is not ideal they said I wouldn’t see my first bill for solar panels until it was up and running so that would cancel out my electric bill. At this point I really don’t know what to do, but please please please stay away from Them!!!! I’m a very patient person I myself work as a customer rep for another company and never in 1 million years would we provide this kind of service. I understand if they can not get back to me within that day within two days but within three months ??? Crazy! They are quick to make you sign the contract but when it comes to fixing things or actually helping you, they give you the runaround don’t call you back.

When the sales representative first came to our door and offered us their solar panels. Everything sounded simple and fast. Once we signed on to get everything started, the customer service disappeared. We have workers show up at random times and days. When we would try to communicate with Teressa, the calls most often than not, would go to voice mail. At first, she was very rude, until my husband made a point to let her now, that we needed answers or else we were not going to be moving forward. Mind you, we signed everything in late October 2024, and in December, I received a letter that our HOA fee for the Architectural changes, were not paid. I brought it up to Teressa and told her, that they promised to take care of everything. It took us threatening them to not allow them or the inspection technician, into our property, for them to pay this fee. This was in March 2025.
Overall, it was a hassle to work with them. Once you sign the contract, their customer service is non-existent. It's so hard to get a hold of someone and get them to call you back. I would not be recommending them to any of my friends or family. I would suggest for anybody else, to look somewhere else for solar panels.

Teressa kept right on top of things and made sure the installation went smooth. Tim did a great job on analyzing what I needed. Ricardo and Miguel placed the panels as described in the blueprint within a few hours. Demarirae came the next day to check on the work.
So in about a week of signing, I have a fixed monthly charge for electricity much cheaper than I was paying the utility company.
I hope My Smart House continues to be successful!

I am still waiting for the city to do their final inspection before turning my unit on. I chose to pay for my unit up front rather than financing as the long term savings are quite substantial. I'm very satisfied with the technicians that did my panel installation. They were friendly, explained what they would be doing and cleaned up all the mess before they left. I did have a small problem with the status of my job not getting reported correctly in the company's system. One call to my sales representative and everything was corrected immediately. I feel confident this will be a five-star review once my unit is turned on.

I feel my original review does not accurately relay my experience with this company. My solar system is installed and appears to be working correctly. This company has a terrible disconnect between the office and field technicians. I made multiple calls to the office for a status report only to find out I had more information than they did. Followed by another service call to figure out the status of my job. It took nearly 5 months from the time I signed the contract and paid in full for my unit to be turned on. I'm still waiting for the $250 gift card and pool pump that I was promised at signing and told it would be installed during the solar system installation. My last communication with Mathew I was informed they don't install the pool pump until the system has been running for 90 days. For reasons that didn't make any sense to me. A company is only as good as their honest and timely customer communication skills. In my case My Smart Home failed to meet my expectation.

All the staff in smart house are very helpful from the staff who informed me, planned my solar panels and installed it very professional. I was ready to signed my papers from other company but the way they explained to me about I don't need a new roof made me switched. Other staff after my panel's were installed went beyond their duty to explained to me how I can accessed my bill.
