Jose was so helpful in finishing the finer details on our doors. He was so attention-to-detail and completed the doors with professionalism and friendliness. I would recommend him to anyone who needs this type of work done on their new doors and windows!!

The installers were incredible, going above and beyond in removing the old windows and installing the new ones. It was as if it came naturally to them. Their professionalism shone through as they took the time to clean up, treating the owner's belongings and materials with care. These outstanding installers inspired me to invest in more windows and a sliding door for the next phase of my renovation.

Do NOT use NWD for anything!!! You will regret it!!
I’ve been dealing with them for almost a year and there’s no end in sight as to when our business will be concluded. They don’t communicate back when they say they will. They don’t stand behind their word. I’ve had my windows installed for 6 months and they’ve failed inspection 3 times and still can’t use them because I don’t have screens installed. They have their money ($16,500 on 3 doors and 9 windows), so I guess my issues aren’t a priority for them (basing this on my most recent interaction). I didn’t want to make my last payment until all my issues were resolved but I was assured that they would stand by the contract and get my issues taken care of. But it feels like they get to me when they feel like it and prioritize me when it’s convenient. Below is a timeline showing what has happened over the last (almost) 11 months if you wish to know the details. Bottom line, save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else for your windows and doors!!
5-10-24: Estimate by M
5-21-24: had to follow up with M about the cost of the door I picked which didn’t come up in the system.
5-24-24: Final proposal with new door and new window because neither was available.
6-3-24: Followed up with M because I hadn’t heard anything.
6-5-24: Received the contract that I signed.
6-6-24: Received a corrected contract which I signed.
7-3-24: Permit applied for
7-11-24: Permit approved.
8-11-24: Materials have arrived in the warehouse. I was told that the windows would take up to 8 weeks to get in. The install was scheduled for 9-12-24.
End of August: I had to reschedule. Was pushed to 9-26-24
NWD later called to reschedule prior to 9-26-24. Was pushed back another week from previous date.
10-4-24: Installation. By the end of the installation, they found that one window didn’t fit and had to be reordered. Since they had removed all windows and doors first thing, they had to tape my original window back in. (3 days later a hurricane came through but that tape held its own.) I opened one window and heard clicking. Couldn’t close it and had to shimmy it down but it wouldn’t lock.
11-7-24: Balancers were replaced in broken window. (They had to be ordered and took a month to come in.)
11-21-24: last window is installed.
12-19-24: NWD reached out to schedule final inspection
1-3-25: First final inspection. Three windows failed and there was no permit paperwork on the premise. (I never received anything but they swore they gave it to me on install day.)
1-11-25: NWD came to check out the problems. Balancers needed to be ordered.
1-24-25: NWD came to fix issues. (I don’t remember the specifics of this one)
2-26-25: NWD came to replace balancers and lubed two windows.
2-27-25: next inspection scheduled and permit paperwork was sent.
3-7-25: 2nd final inspection. 2 of the 3 windows failed and there were no pictures of the job. (These were never given to me.)
3-20-25: 3rd final inspection. 2 windows still failed.
3-26-25: project (or product) manager came out and said that he thinks that two windows may need to be replaced. He said he would have to call the product person to find out what they can do. I explained how fed up I was with this whole ordeal. He promised me I’d have my screens even if he had to bring them himself.
3-28-25: J (not the person from Wednesday) showed up with only one screen. He barely spoke English but used a translation app saying that they warehouse only had 1 screen. Spoke with the office and they said that he said he couldn’t find them. They didn’t have anyone in the warehouse to look for them that day and weren’t sure when they would get back with me on the issue. J said he could install one screen which he did. I looked at it later and it was broken.
3-31-25: Office called to say they could bring the screens by this afternoon. Then called later to say they can’t because the guy was running behind and they were short staffed this week. I was left without any indication of when they would get here and still no answer from the project manager.

Doug, our Window Consultant, did a fantastic job answering all of our questions with respect to window replacement. He was patient and kind with our many questions and requests for different quotes and helped up figure out the best approach and cost towards our project. The company staff is also very friendly, helpful, thorough, and timely. They make sure you have everything you need for your project such as HOA supporting documentation and make sure you are fully aware of the acquisition, installation and inspection process from beginning to end. Looking forward to working with our Field Project Manager, Antonio, who has already made a wonderful impression on our upcoming install. We can’t wait to see the finished product. 😊

Doug came out to the house, he was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Before he did anything he asked what was the intent, regular windows, impact windows, what was the goal.
Then he presented the products available. Made sure I understood the product and the process. Asked if it was okay to follow up the next day to see if there are questions. Highly recommend if anyone is in the market for new windows or doors call Neighborhood Windows & Doors!!

My experience with Neighborhood Windows was truly remarkable. Doug, the representative, demonstrated deep knowledge and expertise about windows and our home project. I rate his presentation as outstanding. He treated us like family, taking the time to guide us through every step of finding the perfect window and explaining the entire installation process. As a retired military service member, I evaluate vendors rigorously, much like bidding for a military contract. While I received three competitive bids, Neighborhood Windows stood out. Doug excelled beyond any other window company by focusing on the positives, never disparaging competitors. His professionalism and uplifting demeanor made the entire experience inspiring.

I met with Cody from Neighborhood Windows and Doors within a short time after contact with Xenia from the office.
He came out to the site and was very efficient in measuring windows and answering questions.
He explained their service and timeline.
He was a great help in working with me because I was representing the owner who was unable to be present.
By 9PM that evening the project was completed and we are waiting to move forward.
Cody is an excellent, responsible and knowledgeable individual that was great to work with. AJK
