The only reason this isn’t 1 star is because the technician completed the job satisfactory. If there was problems with his work it would be 1. This review is moreso on the company than the tech.

I gave the phone operator my situation in detail; toilet already uninstalled, wax ring already clean and old bolts removed. The same toilet just needed a new wax ring, shims, and to be hooked back up. A job that took the tech all of 30 minutes and was half done already cost me $430 after haggling a $90 consultation fee off a price that again, I was not able to get until a tech was already in my home and I had waited all day.

I took a half day off work to make sure I could be home for the appointment, assuming a tech would be here in the wide 4 hour window. My window was supposed to be 8a-12p. A tech was not present until after 1pm. I wasn’t told anyone was going to be late until 11:45. Missed almost a full day of work and after waiting longer than I should have had to, overpaid (in my opinion) for a service that I was just trying to get over with by the time someone was finally in the door.

So yesterday at 1pm my heat went out on my hvac unit in my home. I have a kid and dogs, and well its like in the teens outside with all this winter weather.

After calling Apollo, whom refused to provide service, Schneller and Knochelmann showed up and saved the day. My technician Andrew showed up promptly, and turned what has been a complete nightmare week into a real eye opening experience, and shown me what I should expect in the way of service from my HVAC company.

I will never use another company again if I can help it. The fix was expensive, but that's to be expected, they were pretty on par with the cost I'd pay anywhere else. Andrew got the part for my machine this morning and was at my house by 845am and had my heat fixed by 930. Waking up to a 37° house was a terrible way to start the day, but I'm so grateful to have had Andrew on our side during all this.

I will never use Apollo again, and I will never stop singing the praises of Schneller and Knochelmann.

I had an urgent matter with our HVAC and within 1 hour of the incident a technician, Anthony (Tony) was here. He spent several hours here to ensure the problem was taken care of and even went out of his way to help me change a battery in our smoke detector that started beeping while he was here. I didn’t have a new battery so he got one from his truck and replaced it for me. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and respectful of our home. I felt reassured after he left that the issue was fixed and was happy with the service. Recommend.

Chad was a very nice and very knowledgeable. He helped us so much (with just moving in this house) he showed us features we didn’t know we had and ways of saving money on our electric. We use to live in Ohio and used Schneller and Knochelmann before , we have always been very satisfied with the service and their highly trained technicians that they send . I highly recommend them to everyone for your heating and air conditioning needs. They are very knowledgeable and trustworthy! Thank you again Chad!

Hello! It was not my first time calling Schneller Knochelmann Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. But this time it was my water heater. My son has autism with high sensory issue, so the big problem was taking a bath early morning going to school. I manage to work it out by warming some water by kettle and mixing it with cold water but since it's gonna be hit or miss....he was just not having it. And like what I mention called Schneller and Knochelmann. The technician name this time is Dakota Baker, He is so professional and instantly gave me choices on what to do and price wise of what it's gonna cost. He told me a lot of information about the situation and talk all the way to the reasons why stuff happen regarding the water heater. He is very knowledgeable and kind. Since I decided on changing my water heater another technician came, and his name is Nicholas Bedford and he is exactly the same very professional and kind. Now both of them are very considerate knowing that my wife is sleeping and they tried their very best not be to loud getting rid of the air on my water system. All in all I am very satisfied and definitely going to call and recommend you guys.

Chad came out for our annual A/C tuneup and inspection as part of our maintenance plan and he was fantastic. Incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He walked through everything he was going to do, answered the couple questions that I had, and overall did a great job! I can’t recommend both Schneller and Chad enough!

$25k, and I get 80 degree cooling with an outdoor temp of 78.... my utility bill has tripled since going with this company.... that said, they tried to buy our silence by offering 50% back but sent back less than 30%...

Thank you for replying, I really appreciate you trying to find my issue. However, several techs have come out, and none of them are SpacePak certified. The original issue was that the air handler was freezing up. Your techs solution was to replace it with a hi velocity system. Not only did you replace the air handler, you also added duct work (on a separate bill) because there was not enough air flow... Also, half of the visits were due to your techs not being able to fit in the small space to adjust it properly, so you had to make serval return visits. Not to mention the blown out ducts your tech designed and built and the air inlet hose that was not installed correctly, on top of that every tech had differed opinions as to why we have not had positive results.
Send to me, I need a spacepak expert or need to put back the old air handler that was only 2 yrs old. You can call me to discuss this further.

Tony did an awesome job repairing our Pool Heat Pump. Before entering my home, Tony took the time to put boot covers on to protect my wood floors without me requesting! Very professional, helpful and answered all of my many questions. Will be using Schneller Knochelmann Plumbing for our annual inspection of pool mechanics and heat pump from now on. I Highly recommend you give Schneller Knochelmann a call for any of your electrical & plumbing issues you may have. I was so impressed with Tony’s knowledge about pool openings that I plan to have him scheduled to complete an inspection/maintenance for our 2025 pool opening to ensure our pool mechanics and heater are in top shape for the season.

Scott Butler was knowledgeable and efficient in providing me with an estimate for my many plumbing repair and new installation needs.

Dan Niceley did a wonderful job with all of the plumbing items on my list. I especially love how he installed my new slop sink in the basement. He had to mount my mini tankless water heater too. He left each area where he did work very clean as well.

They installed a completely new system in our house. Incredible experience! From start to finish everything was a "breeze". They accomplished it in one day with a fantastic team of installers.
