I received a phone call from my wife while I was at work, explaining that our AC essentially took a poo. I googled local HVAC companies, and SK came up with very high reviews. I called and scheduled an inspection of my system the next day. Shortly after the first gentleman diagnosed the issues, it was made clear that the best investment would be to replace my entire system- confirming my worst fear. It was 80 degrees in my home, and I didn't feel like choosing a temporary fix for a long term problem, so I agreed to a full system replacement- both furnace (original 30 year old unit) and AC (mismatched parts from previous homeowner, handyman special).
I can't say I enjoyed hearing the prices, but I also understand what Covid did to the world and local economies, so I bit the bullet. Their crew came out the very next day, and had both systems installed before I was even home from work, leaving no trace whatsoever that they had done significant work in my home. I can honestly say that although you will pay a premium price, you will proportionally receive a premium service with premium products. I now have an entirely new HVAC system and a new smart thermostat. I would recommend this company to anyone. The communication, scheduling, professionalism of everyone involved was top-tier, and they met and exceeded my expectations.

When our HVAC system failed after the coils burst and the compressor died, we had four different companies come out and give us estimates. Every company identified ductwork issues that were creating high static pressure and recommended changes to improve airflow.

Larry from Schneller Knochelmann was the best. He took time to diagnose the problem and explain what was going on. Compared with the other companies, his recommendations were most thoughtful, data driven, and customized to our house and needs.

S&K ended up being the second cheapest option, but they were able to get the work done the fastest. They sent a crew of four guys and completed the installation and ductwork modifications in a single day.

What really stood out was the follow-up. They were the only company that guaranteed all of their work, and Larry came back a week later to check airflow and static pressure throughout the system. The pressure is still a little higher than ideal, so we may end up needing more work, but everything moving forward is covered.

Overall, very impressed with S&K and no regrets about paying a little more for them. They were easy to communicate with, they showed up when they said they would, and they clearly cared about doing the job right. The work was clean, thorough, and professionally done. Would definitely recommend them.

Can't say enough about Schneller Knockelmann! We had our AC go out on the hottest day this year - it ended up being an electrical issue in our nearly 100yo house. Their new electrical branch (literally!) saved our life. Ernesto came out that day and got our exposed wires replaced - our system is so clean, organized and safe and the whole experience couldn't have been easier. THANK YOU, ERNESTO!

The technician arrived on time and was dressed in uniform provided by the company along with Identification. Your service technician did a great job as usual. He pointed out several things to update Along with explaining the test that he was performing. We also had a Conversation about Furnace filters. Even though it was slightly raining, he got out the hose and cleaned our air-conditioning unit outside. After all that he sat down and explained what he did and showed me stats on my furnace. Very satisfied with his work and his friendly advice!

Austin was great! He was very friendly and easily determined the problem and made the repair. He sent me follow-up pictures of the damages to help with filing a claim with my home owners association.

I wish I had received notice that I was expected to pay the full bill at the time of service, instead of only paying the service charge, but no complaints with the overall quality of work.

On the hottest day of the spring so far, tach David was a lifesaver! He was able to quickly identify and resolve the issue that was keeping my AC from working. He was also totally fine with my young playful hound dog wanting to meet him! I so appreciate the fine service I always receive from Schneller Knochelmann and recommend them to others looking for honest knowledgable technicians.

We had a major plumbing issue in the kitchen. Technicians Charlie and Logan spent 10 hours completing the job. Even on hour 10 they were upbeat, friendly and finished the job perfectly. Great Techs, great company!

I had a frozen and busted water line in my wall. The service was prompt, very professional and Charles had a wonderful attitude, very friendly and knowledgeable.
He wore booties through the house so he didn't track in snow and mud. The pricing was super fair and affordable. I could not be happier and I highly recommend this company.

Woke up to no hot water on a Saturday with a 1 degree temperature outside and called your service line. Nick was here in less than two hours to replace the thermostat on our tank. Professional, courteous and competent. Outstanding service!! Thank you.

I called Schneller Knochelmann when my furnace stopped working. The technician told me it could be repaired, but strongly pushed replacing the entire unit instead. They used aggressive same-day sales tactics, saying the quoted price was only valid that day. I agreed to the replacement and have regretted it ever since. From the moment the new furnace was installed, it was problem after problem. Right away, it couldn’t cool the upstairs at all. We had multiple nights where the upstairs temperature was over 80 degrees. Schneller Knochelmann sent several different technicians, and required multiple follow up calls from me before they admitted that the furnace had been installed incorrectly and sent a more senior tech to fix it. Only then did it finally cool the upstairs properly. Fast forward to the following winter where we called them again due to an odor. Their technician said there was a gas leak in the furnace and that a special part had to be ordered to fix it. After the part was installed, though, the odor continued, so we called a plumber, thinking it might be a plumbing issue. The plumber could not find any plumbing issue and when I mentioned the previous gas leak in the furnace, he asked if he could check it. Good thing he did because he discovered that it was still leaking gas. He said the gas line connection at the furnace was done terribly and was leaking - he fixed it immediately. Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. A couple of months later, the furnace stopped blowing hot air altogether. I called a different HVAC company, and once again, the issue was traced back to incorrect installation by Schneller Knochelmann. The new HVAC company fixed the problem and I will be using them from now on. Between the aggressive sales tactics, repeated installation errors, constant follow-ups required on my end, and a gas leak that was never properly fixed, my experience was extremely frustrating and alarming. I strongly recommend staying as far away as possible from Schneller Knochelmann.
