I want to give special recognition to the john and his crew who installed my central air system — truly outstanding service! From the moment they arrived, they were professional, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the process in a way I could understand, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I was comfortable with each step. Their attention to detail was impressive, and they worked efficiently while respecting my home and space. You could tell they genuinely cared about doing the job right. When they were done, everything was spotless — it’s clear they take pride in their work.

Working with Astar was an absolute breath of fresh air. From start to finish, every part of the process was handled with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

We had a heat pump and air conditioning system installed in our bi-level home, along with a backup propane wall unit. The installation was quick, thorough, and right on schedule—they arrived exactly when they said they would. The team was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk us through every step, answering all of our questions with patience and clarity.

What stood out most was how refreshing it was to work with a company that truly values honesty and communication. Astar was upfront about every aspect of the job—even pointing out minor dents in the wall from removing old shelving in the closet. Their communication system by cell phone texts and email made everything so smooth and easy to follow.

The customer service across the board was outstanding. Whether we were speaking with the sales team, the project manager, or the on-site techs, everyone was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. Even calling the main number felt like talking to someone who truly cared.

We’re beyond pleased with the entire experience and feel confident knowing Astar will be maintaining our equipment for years to come. Truly an exceptional team.

So this young man was very knowledgeable and honest. Very detailed, I was skeptical dealing with big companies but so far so great I would definitely highly recommend this technician to any and everyone. Upfront and very professional. My service providers were Kent & Jake i would highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you guys for doing such an phenomenal job.

So this is an update to the original post. I actually needed my sewer lines replaced as they were old, deteriorating, and not in code. They gave me an estimate and after careful consideration, I chose Astar to do the work.
I’m so glad I did!
They got all the permits, contacted the water company and took care of everything so I didn’t have to be concerned.
When they got here, they got to work right away, all knowing what their part was. They even tied up my tree so they didn’t break branches as they used the Kabota to dig 6’ down! That was impressive and it showed the level of care they took on my property.
The technicians explained what they were doing or about to do as they went along so we were comfortable about the process. They asked preferences in some instances and made some adjustments to help out some of our future projects.
We’re extremely happy with their work and professionalism, every one of them ego was here.

Good experience. Leo and his helper were very courteous and he was able to not only explain, but show me the issue. It was more work involved than I anticipated but at least i kind of know what I'm up against. They were able to get me up and flowing again and will get me estimates for the major work needed.

AStar came out to replace a hot water heater for me in July of 2024. The price was higher than it should be but, I was in no place to really shop around as it needed to be done immediately. The estimator was pleasant and professional but installation and removal of the old hot water was less than stellar.

I was informed by the estimator that Astar would be installing a new mixing valve with the new hot water heater. Apparently that was too much trouble for the installers and I still have a 20+ year old mixing valve that they did not touch (pictures attached).

Additionally, the team of 4 people destroyed portions of our hardwood floors when removing the old hot water heater - even though it had already been drained onto the floor in the basement - which I had to help them clean up.

The installers seemingly thought I wouldn't notice the damage to the hardwood floors (pictures attached) but I had him take a look prior to him leaving the house. He called his supervisor and I was told before he left that Astar would "make it right" Now, over 8 months later and no meaningful communication from Astar and they certainly haven't made it "right."

After receiving a marketing call from Astar I again asked them when it was going to be made right, which finally prompted a call from a woman at Astar who left a message, I called her back and, over a month later, I have yet to receive a follow-up phone call or any attempt by them to "make it right."

Honestly, I didn't want to leave a negative review but 8 months of waiting for a company to "make it right" after they agreed to is just mind-boggling.

Save your money and the frustration of dealing with this company and hire someone else who doesn't run a business by overcharging, failing to do agreed upon work, and ignoring damages that they cause to customer's homes.

I am so impressed with their professionalism and speedy response!!! Everyone that I came across was extremely courteous and professional! Jim showed up and fixed our heating system in a matter of a few minutes. We were also advised instead of replacing our Vermont Casting fireplace, we can simply replace the safety device which was getting old. It literately saved us thousands of dollars as we planned to replace a perfect unit instructed by other electricians.
I immediately joined their comfort care club which will provide boiler and heating maintenance for only $180 a year! I highly recommend this company and his professional team! It’s a company with exceptional expertise in what they do with the utmost integrity!

Astar is by far the BEST!!! The staff at Astar is very Professional and Knowledgeable of all that they do. Most of all the staff from sales to Service is an experience you could only Dream of! Bruce was here today to update our Generator and was Pleasant friendly and as usual did a fantastic job. He left with all my questions and concerns answered and walked me through everything I needed to know. If there was a 10 Star rating I would hit that one. Great Job Astar keep doing it the way you 're doing it!!!!!!!! If you need a Generator or A/C System which is what we had purchased I recommend you call them FIRST! If you want the job done RIGHT the First time at the Right Price.

Experienced heating issues. The technician, Luis, assessed the situation, and performed a diagnostic. I purchased a service plan and Luis offered to perform a maintenance on my boiler while there. He was thorough, knowledgeable and explained things well. I am satisfied with the service provided. Thank you!

Tim is always happy and pleasant. He does the work, he’s neat, and he explains what has to be done. He puts his head down and gets the job done. Also he likes my dogs. When the work is done Duncan is waiting for a quick game of tug of war.
