Joplin’s has installed 3 HVAC systems in my home during the 33 years since the house was built.
Joplin’s has also maintained the systems for those 33 years. The technicians have always been experienced and courteous. Greg Whitaker one of the company’s Master Technicians was in my home today checking the system prior to cooler weather. I highly recommend Bill Joplin‘s Air Conditioning and Heating company. I have been a customer since 2018 for annual maintenance, service calls, and most recently purchased a full AC and furnace from them. On July 19th. Rogelio and team were on time for installation explaining entire process. They were professional, friendly and respectful to me and my home during the entire installation. Rogelio was very thorough and team did not leave until making sure I was satisfied and understood all functions of new system.

I left the review below after my initial experience with Bill Joplin’s. I was immediately contacted by the manager Alberto who apologized and sincerely wanted to make things right. We still had ongoing issues with our AC, and the blower kept turning on and off. I called this team back and Alberto sent out one of his best technicians, Mike. Mike was able to diagnose the root cause of it all - a faulty motor speed control board. They were able to get this replaced the next day and my system is finally working right.

Bottom Line: Bill Joplin’s Air Conditioning and Heating provided inadequate, overpriced service with a lack of thoroughness and ethical standards. I would not recommend their services.
I called Bill Joplin’s on July 15th due to persistent issues with my AC unit, which kept shutting off and needed restarting at the breaker. The technician (James) charged a $119 diagnostic fee but couldn’t identify the problem. That evening, the unit failed completely. When they sent James back, he diagnosed a faulty blower motor, requiring a replacement. The part took three days to arrive, and the replacement cost $2,150, handled by a second technician (Ryan).
Six hours after the blower motor was replaced, the unit wasn’t cooling effectively. I called them again, and the next morning, a third technician (Misa) inspected it. With cooler overnight temperatures, the house had reached the thermostat setting of 72 degrees. Misa recommended cleaning the air handler/blower housing and the outside condenser, quoting $399 and $125, respectively. I scheduled this for the following week.
In the meantime, other HVAC companies informed me I had overpaid significantly for the blower motor replacement. They also pointed out that the technician should have cleaned the housing during the replacement, given its moldy state. Neither the initial nor the second technician mentioned the mold issue. This lack of communication and care raises serious ethical concerns.
A week later, the AC again failed to cool properly. Bill Joplin’s wanted to charge another $219 for overtime service and couldn’t come until later that day. I decided to call another HVAC professional, who arrived within 30 minutes and performed a thorough diagnostic. He found ice buildup on the air handler and low Freon levels in the outside unit. He also noticed the mold and cleaned it immediately, emphasizing the health risks. He got the unit working that afternoon for a reasonable fee.
Based on my experience, I find Bill Joplin’s Air Conditioning and Heating to be focused on profit over customer care. Their service was inadequate, overpriced, and lacked the necessary thoroughness and ethical standards. I would not recommend their services.

Wonderful service from Joplin's. They were very accommodating to meet my availability and get someone here ASAP. The tech, William Urbina, was terrific at troubleshooting the issue. He was super polite and really went the extra mile. I ended up with a much less expensive repair than I was fearing! Would highly recommend!
