Smart Wave Solar has been great to work with. Their communication is outstanding. Liam kept us apprised of what was happening throughout the process, and even if nothing was happening that week he would update us. Joel and his crew did a fantastic job with the installation. He notified us of when he would arrive, answered any questions, and was very conscientious about aesthetics and cleanliness. We would highly recommend them.

Very good experience with Sarah, the Project Co-Ordinator and both the Salesman and the two installation crews! Sarah would call or text me about what was happening during the process. The salesman explained things nicely, like why I needed a "Critter Guard" (made sense after he explained it, and a neighbor said he wished his solar company had advised him before he got birds nesting in his panels!).
I had two different install crews (large install), the first was led by Justin Dunn, and the second consisted of Zach and Barret, both were excellent. They even caught undersized wiring being used in my existing box, and fixed that for me with no extra charge! They walked me thru what they planned on doing, and then showed me afterwards, explaining what each component did. I am a retired Technical Consultant, and kind of knew anyway, but must say, very nicely done! They knew their stuff!
If all their people are as excellent as the ones that did my installation, without a doubt, use them.
My Salesman, Randy Hansen even still answers questions for me to this day, and follows up long after we paid for the install! That is a real nice touch!
I have worked with a lot of Tech companies in my career, most good, a few bad, very few very good ones. A lot of the employees of these companies were still "learning the trade". SMART WAVE SOLAR was a very good experience for me and the people I dealt with really knew their stuff!
My 32 Panels and dual Tesla Power Wall 3 units are working well as I post this!

We just got smart wave solar installed. Zach did a great job. I did my research before contacting anyone. I knew I wanted Tesla batteries but higher quality solar panels than what Tesla could offer. Smart wave was the perfect blend of both. I got higher quality panels but still Tesla batteries. I also researched prices so when they quoted me something much less than I had expected, I knew I wasn’t paying for an expensive sales person. So far, I highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough good about the Solar Wave team here in Denver. Our initial contact in the installation process was a text from Lorin. Her response time to our questions was always timely and professional. We always received updates on the project to let us know the current status. From start to finish we’ve been extremely happy with all of our interactions with everyone from the installers to follow up visits by the electricians. But we want to really thank Lorin for her patience,professional approach and willingness to help us understand all of the steps in the process! We “flipped the switch” today” and started generating our own electricity!!! Thanks to all the staff at Solar Wave for a job well done!

Update 9/24
Techs out today to replace my converters. They kept me informed, showed me everything they replaced and fixed, were very friendly and had excellent customer service.
I do suggest extra training in customer service for the office, I previously worked with Ali & Maureen to get scheduled after my initial review was posted. It was only after my review I was contacted back. They did get me scheduled, but the majority of contact they do via email, which is not ideal.
I do feel in addition to responding to a review, I should have got a call from Tracie - as the head of customer experience, regardless if she could or couldn’t schedule me an appointment.. a phone call to address my concerns, and any other issues or questions, really would have went a long way for my customer experience.
I will continue to update if the replacement parts work for my issue.
1st review- Solar was installed on home 2 years ago, stopped generating power. When I went to reset Tesla panel (per Tesla app) upon opening cover (per Tesla app troubleshooting suggestion) I have found not 1 but BOTH of my inverter’s wires had melted, and had tripped and burnt out breakers in the main power box also!! Wow! Thank goodness it did not start a fire, as I have small children in the home.
I was promised a call today, after a ticket was created and sent to Tracie with escalation for an appointment time, I was told they were “very booked and down a crew” (all I needed was a appointment time for someone to take a look to make sure my home is safe and not going to burn to the ground)
no call back as promised.
As someone who has worked 10+ years in customer service- with a concern of SAFETY on the line this is unacceptable. I will assume as other reviews of wires melting by the A/C area I assume it is the same issue, no call backs, appointments, or safety addressed- I’m going to bypass the solar and rely on standard power.
Not worth my family’s safety, if it was not installed safe in the first place I don’t expect it to be fixed properly when I can’t even get a promised call back.

Marcos and his crew did a great job installing our solar panels. He needed to wire almost 20 panels and did it in record time while still being very efficient. My solar box is telling me that both an and B rose of panels are generating electricity and so I’m very pleased with the work he did. Smart wave Solar made it super easy for me to be able to get solar panels And their personnel and customer service is really great to work with.

Just got installed today! Marcos and his crew were easily the best installers of any service or product I have ever had! They were quick, clean, and knowledgeable. They kept me informed along the way and cleaned up every little scrap. Install us aesthetically clean and barely noticable. Highly recommend Smart Wave if you are shopping for solar!

I have used Smart Wave twice. Once a few years ago for an initial solar system then again to add a TESLA battery and some new panels about 6 months ago. Unfortunately the system stopped working completely and it was a month+ before they can have someone come out. It really sucks because this is prime time that I need solar to offset our AC and build up credits for the winter.

We’ve had a great experience with Smart Wave Solar! We’ve been reluctant to move forward with solar not because of the benefits but because of the sales side. The partnership Smart Wave Solar has with the city made it AMAZINGLY simple. Also, the installation process from start to finish was clear and professional.
