They did what they said they would do on the installation. Does not do what you agree to in the contract. Having to take a lot of time to call and get answers. Starting to feel like they don't want to honor their part of the deal. Another issue is with techs coming to do repairs. I'm still waiting on a new battery to get the system back up and running. Update: I still have not received any word from the company and now can't even reach anyone. Update #2: I still haven't heard from the company. From everything I seen the company isn't in business anymore. The phone is disconnected, and emails are being returned. I would not do business with this place. Update #3: It's now 1/23/2024, and the company has shut their doors and have several law suits against them. I finally have my system working ( with no battery. The company fried it on install). It's has also cost me another $500.00, too have it inspected. Now, having to deal with the manufacturer of the battery. Hopefully, this will be the last step to finally have the system running correctly. Will update one more time after this, so keep looking. Hope this helps

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I don't know how they have any positive reviews. I hear they are out of business now- shut down by the state attorney general. Go to their website if you want to file a claim for incomplete work (good luck with that...I've been waiting awhile.) They never completed the final work on my system which means it is not up to code. I have never had to make so many phone calls and send so many emails to any company in my life. I should have been on their payroll for the amount of time I spent trying to reach them, or reaching them and having the run-around conversations. EVERYTHING with them was difficult after they got their money. Their work was so shoddy. Multiple work trips were required to correct the messes they made and, again, there is work that was never completed correctly.

Do NOT use this company. We did a quick check on reviews and one reviewer had them listed as number one for Knoxville. We should have dug deeper. The salesman was wonderful. The installation was a little slow getting. It was installed incorrectly and has not worked right since.(4 1/2 months so far) Left message after message with no replies. Finally called and set appointment to fix it. Came and worked on it but still not working. Then got ahold of Jill who promised it would be taken care of and we had hope. But still no service call.
They "gave" us a year with no payments. They sent a check the first month and nothing since. Now phone says not receiving calls!
We reported it to the state of TN. There is also a channel 10 news report on them.
I have close to 2 million views of my google reviews and this is the first time I have had to give such a bad review.

As a veteran, I feel insulted! First, the salesman that came to my home was (supposedly)a veteran. He got me a decent discount based on the fact I was a veteran. He also got me the loan reimbursement program which meant Solar Titan USA would reimburse me for my loan payments for 18 moths. I received one payment. I called them twice before Christmas. The first time I was told Accounting was "backed up" and were trying to get things caught up. I called about a week later and was told they'd sent out some payments "the other day".
Since then, I have called every business day and got recordings. The only extension I knew off hand was for accounting and got their answering machine. I've emailed them (and received notification that they are in fact reading my emails!)and left messages on their machine. I also made sure everything I was supposed to be getting was IN MY CONTRACT! (Yes, it is!)
I am currently in the process of starting arbitration. My solar panels were installed, they work & have saved me a considerable amount on my electric bill, not getting my reimbursements so far, is my only complaint. But as a Marine, honesty and integrity are part of my character. As a proclaimend Marine himself, that salesman is a disgrace to the word.

I purchased my solar system in Aug 2022 and here we are Jan 2023 and still my system is not up and running. They agreed to pay the payment for a year. We received one payment and that’s it. They failed both rough inspection and also the commission inspection. The commission inspection was Nov 21, 2022 and still have not been out to fix the 4 different fails to get my system up and running.Also, there customer service is absolutely horrible will not answer calls or call back. The whole process has been nothing but a very huge disappointment. My wife and I were excited about going solar and all it has done is cause stress and headaches and an extra bill that we did not need. If anyone is reading this and are thinking about using this company “Please do not” run and run fast. Also just do your homework on any solar company because I had someone from TVA tell me that all solar companies are the same. I’m gonna start the arbitration process because the contract says you can’t take them to court with a judge or a jury. I wish I would of did my homework on this company before I agreed to use them. I love the concept of solar panels and I am disappointed in myself for not shopping around more and finding a better supplier. Solar Titan USA has a horrible customers service. They are all open promises and giving dates on when things will be done or mailed. I have been waiting on my first reimbursement check since Nov and every time I call its "oh its going in the mail this week." I am now missing a total of 3 reimbursement checks and I can't even get a hold of anyone in the office to talk to anyone about my issues. Not one answer, call back to my voicemails and their Quality Assurance email isn't even responding anymore. My panels have been installed since mid Oct and I still don't have full functionality since it took them 2 months to get someone out here to find out my battery is shot and now I have been waiting on a replacement battery for 3 weeks. I know the holidays and all but it shouldn't have even gotten that far. I really honestly wish I went elsewhere for my panels.

We were really excited to have solar panels and when they came to our house and did the presentation everything sounded amazing. That was the only smooth part of the whole LONG process. Since May we have been trying to get our referral check. It’s nearly January and still- nothing. We call and email frequently and have never been able to speak to a manager. I get forwarded to the finance department and they never answer. It’s absolutely astonishing how in 8 months the manager and finance department are never available and don’t return calls.

We went under contract with Solar Titan in July 2021. A sales rep came to our home and let us know we could save drastically on our electric Bill by signing with them. It would help alleviate utilities inflation pressure on us and ultimately would save us about 75% of our home's electric costs.
We financed with mosaic (a dollar financing company recommended by Solar Titan), not a small amount.
We now pay a loan payment and have yet to see any dip in our utility electric bill.
We have had MANY crews out to our house, we have had MANY conversations with Solar Titan about how to fix the issue.
Ultimately, they let us know they didn't originally research what size system we would need. They didn't ask but for only one monthly electric bill.
From our last conversation with Mr Rosen at Solar Titan, the system they installed will never get us to the contracted and agreed upon savings.
He says he asked the owners about cancellation, and they supposedly refused.
The only solution they're providing is to come back and add additional equipment and monitor the system then for AN ENTIRE YEAR to see if it works.
We are appalled. We do not trust this business or their products.
We are looking into mediation and legal action, as we do not want to do business with this company and believe we've been scammed.

Had my system installed in March 2022. Took them a day to install the actual solar panels, but have been dealing with inconsistent service, miscommunication between the customer service, the maintenance department, and the crews coming out. The crews have actively told me that they don’t understand why they have to keep coming out. I have had the system for 10 months now and it is still not fully operational. Still paying for Georgia Power and for the loan payment.
Buy solar panels from literally anyone else. The customer service people are cordial but that’s about it. The rest of the organization is pretty incompetent.
I’m about 1-2 months away from ripping the solar panels off the roof or fixing them myself.

On the positive side, all the staff, especially the sales rep, accounting, installation crew and tech support were courteous, responsive and competent. I'd give them all 5 stars. However, my project was a cash deal and after sending in a sizable down payment, months passed with no communication as to an installation date. Worse, I was ghosted when I inquired about an install date. The company became opaque with respect to whom I needed to communicate regarding a projected install date. Out of frustration I eventually threatened to post an unfavorable online review and finally the project started to move forward. I'd use them again, however, not without a firm commitment to an acceptable installation date and a contact person who would be responsive to my inquires.
