If you have the opportunity to have Felipe as your HVAC technician, consider yourself lucky! He was friendly, courteous, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem, explained everything clearly, and answered all of our questions without making us feel rushed. His honesty, patience, and exceptional customer service really stood out. We couldn't be more impressed and highly recommend Felipe!

He made a complex process easy to understand, took the time to address every question, and never made us feel rushed. Quan was punctual, amiable, skilled and explained the problem before and as he was preparing the estimate and doing the repair. He diagnosed the primary problem and identified the secondary consequences of that issue. He explained in simple terms what our options were for the repairs and the cost. The cost was reasonable and within our expectations. Because we appreciated the quality of his work in our initial project, we hired him to do additional projects, which were also completed with the same strong work ethic and high quality. Thermo Direct staff was easy to work with and kept us updated regarding Quan's arrival to our home, early in the appointment window. We would highly recommend this company and repair person.

I don’t know that I can recommend these folks. I had an HVAC system installed about three years ago by them and within the first year I had to call them out 4 times to do a workmanship warranty on my system as they didn’t properly install the condensate drain line and it had a deep belly that was causing the condensate to feed back to the air handler causing the unit to switch. One of their techs finally installed a clean out into the line which did fix the issue for a time but I regularly have to go into the crawl space to vacuum out the water in the condensate line. Recently there was a power surge from Duke energy, which according to the tech, destroyed the motherboard. The tech was very helpful, but he claims that the company will likely NOT honor my 12 year warranty as I declined to pay for regular maintenance. In my sales agreement from when I purchased the unit there is nothing in the agreement that states that I need to have regular maintenance by ThermoDirect to maintain my warranty. It is a manufacturers 12 year warranty. The tech told me that ThermoDirect will send in the parts to the manufacturer and will ask whether or not regular maintenance has been performed by Thermo Direct and if it hasn’t then Thermo Direct would have to pay for the cost of the parts. It’s my opinion that these are deceptive business practices as this was never disclosed to me during any part of the sales or install process and is NOT included in any of my final sales paperwork. If you choose to use this company be extremely mindful that they will try and nickel and dime you to do and not honor their agreement. Also when you try and contact them it almost always goes to their AI assistant “Dane” and there is no way to actually speak to a human being or even wait on hold to speak to a human. When you try and use their service to text with a person no one responds. I’m giving them 2 stars as the technician Aaron was extremely helpful and explains things thoroughly, he gets a 5 star review

Eddie and his team did a great job installing a heatpump, encapsulating my crawlspace, and replacing my attic insulation. Before the work, my house would frequently get humid and the AC would fall behind on hot days. The quality of life improvement was immediate and my energy bills are already lower. Would highly recommend!

Michael Speich was excellent. He called to advise when he was expected to arrive. Professional and made excellent recommendations. He installed a shower combo, worked on the toilet and tub. He left the work area neat and clean. The end product was beautiful. If I have future plumbing needs, I will reach out to Thermo Direct, Inc. and ask for Michael. Thermo Direct is on the Duke Energy Plumbing list, that was how I found out about the company.

Chey and Stephen did an outstanding job! They surprised me when they arrived so quick. I had other estimates lined up today but they were ready to make it happen right then and there. Chey/Stephen were professional, polite and didn't leave any trash/mess behind.🙂 Great job folks! Because of this service I will probably sign up for the 360 maintenance plan! ✊🏿🥰💪🏿

Have to say that Thermo Direct did an awesome job. When my AC went out and I called my usual company, they came out, inspected and determined my entire unit was not able to be repaired (It had lasted 26 years which is amazing). I wanted to get a second opinion so I called Thermo Direct. They came out, were professional and Determined the system could be repaired but the cost would be almost as much as replacing the entire system. On top of that, the tech determined the existing duct work had holes and was losing about 20% of heating and cooling into the attic (which my first company didn't find). This was the deal closer for me. Thorough, showed pictures and walked me through everything that was wrong over video since I was out in CA at the time). On top of that, they had a special deal with Rheem AC offering 60 months with 0% financing. A free loan for 5 years? YES PLEASE!!!!! Demarcus contacted me prior to coming to the house, was polite, respectful and explained in detail his plan of action. Told us it would take 2 days but they completed it in one long day. Everything looks great. County inspector will be out next week to sign off on the work. I have included before and after pics to show old system and the beautiful new system. If you need a new system and want to take advantage of that financing special, please contact them. Also, do not forget your rebates through the HOME system of NC. The rebate can be as much as $16,000 based on income and needs. For me I believe it will be $4000.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the outstanding work installing our downstairs HVAC unit. This is actually the second time (Austin&Cam)he has installed a unit for us — he previously installed our upstairs system (Austin&Zach)— and once again, he exceeded our expectations.

From start to finish, he was professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure the work area was clean, and completed the installation efficiently without cutting any corners. It’s clear he takes great pride in his craftsmanship.

Felipe from Thermo Direct ame out to provide a complimentary service on our air conditioning unit, and we were extremely impressed. He was professional, and very knowledgeable. From the moment he arrived, he was courteous.

He thoroughly inspected our unit, made sure everything was running efficiently before he left. What stood out most was how prompt he was in advising about a water leak under our home and advising that he could contact their plumber to come out and do the job.

We truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend Thermo Direct to anyone needing HVAC services.
